I finally saw Barbershop on DVD last night. Man, that movie is funny.

For those of you who have never seen the movie, it stars Ice Cube as entreprenuer Calvin Palmer, who's been spending a lot of time trying to earn a lot of money from "get rich quick" schemes. He's also had a barbershop he has inherited from his deceased father which he's reluctantly held on to for the past two years. Calvin has finally had enough and sells the barber shop to a shady loan shark. But it isn't until he sells the barber shop that he finds out what he really has...and goes to great lengths to get it back.

The movie also stars Eve and Cedric the Entertainer.

I've also checked out some of the special features. The deleted scenes and outtakes were pretty good, but some of the interviews with the creators of the movie were a little long in the tooth.

Anyway, it's worth checking out. I give it two thumbs up.
