Fugen stood at the gates of Hidden Craftsman, his hands held together behind his head. He looked at the landscape to see a rather large amount of buildings that had their own furnaces for smelting material as well as a number of carts moving in and out of the village. True to its name, Hidden Craftsman is indeed known for providing all the shinobi world their ninja tools that were made of mostly metals. However, this was not the reason he chose to come to the village. The reason he came was because he heard of a peculiar item that was able to drain the chakra from people into a mysterious entity as if it was a black hole. Fugen hoped that he would be able to study the items property to see if it could contain his own chakra and if it could, maybe he could purchase it from the owner if it was cheap enough? Fugen started to wander through the town, looking at the items that blacksmiths were selling and fancy looking weaponry that looks more for show than for actual use in battle. Suddenly, Fugen hit something hard and fell backwards onto the ground, landing firmly on his arse. Fugen looked up with a grimace as he rubbed the spot where he landed and saw a large burly man with a scraggly beard standing over him wearing a rather large suit of armor that had a lion’s face crafted on its front. ”S-sorry. I was not looking at where I was going.”
The large man laughed as he helped Fugen to his feet before pounding Fugen on the back with a hearty laugh. ”No, no, it is alright kid! Just so long as that was an accident, then everything will be just fine!” Fugen could not help but to eye the armor, looking at the green crystal orbs set within it. The man looked at Fugen and then towards his armor before giving out another laugh before saying, ”Fancy this armor eh? I tell ya I am the proud owner of the original piece, Mugen Kougai. This armor is special though. If you agree to forge another one of these with me, I will let you in on this piece of work’s secrets.” Fugen became interested. Maybe this had something to do with the item that he had heard about on the way there? If so, then luck was certainly favoring him. Fugen agreed to the man’s proposition before being led towards the opening of a rather extensive looking mineshaft.
”Alright kid, first thing we have to do is mine up some of the special ore that this village is known for. It is something essential to creating any of our ‘special’ tools.” Saying this, he thrust a pickaxe into Fugen’s hands, urging him to go down the mine while grabbing a pick for himself. Fugen nearly keeled over, not expecting the pick to be so heavy for its looks but quickly straightened himself as he got used to the weight. He followed the man into the mine, a little nervous going into a semi-secluded place prone to a lot of ‘accidents,’ but he persevered. Going deep down into the mine, Fugen looked at all the people mining away at the walls, trying to deepen the mine. Carts filled with ore was pushed upward, going to unload as carts filled with supplies and lumber were slowly making their way downwards to be used as supports for the mine itself. Going deeper into the mine, Fugen started to see faint traces of a blue ore that glowed ever so slightly against the light cast upon it from hanging lanterns.
”See that bluish glow? That comes from the ore we need to collect. It takes quite a bit of the stuff to make armor like mine but even less so for the weapons. All in all, my trade is the most expensive of the items but sometimes the rewards can be even greater.” Fugen nodded as they stopped at a junction where there was a side that was not mined out yet. The man started to strike at the rock with the pick, digging out quite a bit of the earth as it fell to the ground in chunks. Fugen had no knowledge of mining and was not sure if he would be striking weak points that could cause the tunnel to collapse but that was risk that everyone ran on their first time. Besides, this guy would probably not have let Fugen try mining if he was worried about a collapse. Fugen started to strike the wall with the pick, doing some damage but not as much as the man who could only laugh a little as he watched though the corner of his eyes. After about 15 minuets of very minimal results, Fugen started to get very frustrated before throwing the pick to the ground. ”Alright, I guess I just can not use a pick like you can but I will try to use something I am more suited too.”
The man watched with a curious look in his eye as Fugen pulled out his Tonfas. Spinning them a little bit as he started to bounce around a little, he suddenly threw forth a punch that looked to be on fire as the end of his tonfa struck the rock causing it to act like a pick, breaking through stone. Fugen continued with his flurry of strikes until he became a little tired due to lack of oxygen before sitting down against a wall, looking at the crater in the wall he was striking. The man laughed a hearty laugh as he was still picking at the wall, showing his own hole, which was still larger than Fugen’s before setting down his pick. The floor was littered with a bluish hue from all the material that they had mined. As it turned out Fugen and the mysterious man had hit into a rather thick vein of the metal so it did not take long for them to collect enough of the ore that they would need.
The man rang a bell and pulled a lever which altered the track before sitting down next to Fugen, drinking out of a flask before handing it over towards Fugen who also took a swing out of it as they talked about Fugen’s attempt to mine the ore. It in itself would have been alright since it still was the same principal as using a pick but Fugen just had to get stronger before he could take as much earth out as the man could. Before long, a cart arrived with nothing but a couple shovels. Fugen smiled as they both shoveled the ore and surrounding rocks into the cart. It did not take long at all to fill the cart before they both would start to push the cart upwards. Surprisingly, it was not as heavy as the cart looked but when Fugen inquired about that, the man told him that Hidden Craftsman is a bit more advanced than the other nations so many of their tools and equipment are easier to use and break less often.
It did not take them long to get the cart onto the top and into large sacks that they threw into a wooden cart to drag all the way to his own shop. When they arrived, Fugen could see a rather large furnace used to smelt down the ore as well as a large opening so that they could easily remove any impurities by skimming the top with a metal scoop. Fugen understood the basics of metallurgy but actually crafting something, that was a completely new experience for him. ”Alright kid, it looks like you already know a little bit of blacksmithing but you told me earlier that you never really worked metal before right? Well, today is your lucky day! Alright, lets get the smelter loaded up while I stock the fire and heat it up.”
Fugen nodded as he started to shovel the earth and metal ore into the furnace, watching as the metals slowly grow hotter and hotter until finally they started to melt from the intense heat that was still growing. It was about thirty minuets before the man said that he was sure that all the metal ores were melted and the heavier metals that they want have already sank to the bottom before handing Fugen a scoop which Fugen proceeded to skim off the top, dumping the bits they did not want into a metallic container that the man may use to separate iron from the other materials to make more weaponry or tools, whatever the case may be. After that was finished, Fugen and the man started to pour the molten metal into a mold of a large square, only thick enough for them to manipulate once the mold becomes solid and super heated once again. They spent the night resting as they waited for the metal to cool. They awoke early the next day to find the metal had hardened and cooled to a workable temperature before they blasted it with more heat, warming ti enough to where it glowed white but not quite liquid. They spent the entire day, hammering it to shape it into a chest piece before the man went to work detailing it, as that was something he enjoyed doing, and Fugen went to pour another plate of molten metal to be used as the back of the armor.
Later that day, they started to work on the back plate and before long, they had two plates ready to merge together. What was amazing about this though was that with the man’s special skills in metallurgy, the plates were actually malleable like clothing though it did not stretch so after they fused to two plates together, Fugen was able to slip it on with ease. He looked into a mirror and stared at his reflection. The armor was thin so that it did not weigh him down and the decal was that of a dragon holding a greenish orb in one of its claws. It was pretty much one of the most glorious things that he had ever seen. The man grinned a toothy grin as Fugen praised the man for his elegant designs before being told what the secret to the armor was. It was able to draw the chakra out of targets if Fugen so chose to do so, making fights rather difficult for any opponent as they try to get close and because Fugen was a close, hand to hand fighter, making it easy for him to get in range for his armor to take effect. Something that most people would probably never expect which was good since he was a ninja. Fugen thanked the man who wanted nothing in return for the armor and started to heat out of the village, only to stop at a clearing and sit on a log, thinking on what he should do next.

Nizimo?(or is it him?)( from the sand village)(photobucket isn't working, but all four figures are wearing masks and black hooded robes.)
One of the four silhouttes appears, wearing nizimo's attire in a clearing of the forest of the hidden craftsman, the hooded, masked figure looks around through the mask at the forest, birds chirping and deers hopping around him,the creatures ignoring the person. "hmmm, seems this village is doing well...." as the figure walks from the clearing and among the trees, the trees that are near him suddenly turn rotten and start to break, their leaves turning from green to a dead color and animals who past him suddenly slow down and cough, blood slowly dripping from their mouths and falling to their sides, dying completely as their skin start to rotten, birds suddenly start to fly away quickly, not getting near the figure as the figure continues his path down the forest, trees rotting near him, the figure mutters a sigh.
She had gotten word to visit here. She didn't know why.. she needed a rest. After fighting those giants her body was still aching. She still had some of the scars that her body wouldn't heal. She only licked her lips slowly and started to walk around the village. She had enough time to lick her wounds and let them heal over the day before a messenger sent her the next message.
'find Fugen.... test him.'
Great fun mission. Find a ninja. Test him. Fight him. See how good he was or wasn't. She never really liekd these kind of missions. she didn't know what he could and couldn't do. He migth be a kage.. a an alien or a demon. However, it didn't matter it was the work of her people and such it should. She only looked to see things started to die in the village. She noted that with a quick but brief sketch of the people she noticed with the mask. However, her mission wasn't to protect this village. It was to examine.. Fugen. She sat quickly and started to draw a picture of him. As she was done she put her picture in her notebook and nodded.
She pulled out her water riffle. She put a bit of chakra inside of the gun. She took in a deep breathe.
BOOM! The bullet came flying out of the riffle as fast as possible. As the bullet started to glide through the air a large torent of water could be seen flying behind it. She was going to test his metal. All of it at one time. Would he be able to stop her. She then jumped from the area where she was and appeared with in eye sight of Fujin.
She pulled the trigger again. Closer this time. The bullet came flying out of the chamber again. Same effect. Same problems. Two Water Torrents flying at the boy at one time. Could he stop it...

NOTE: Fugen is a Chakra Draining Based Character. Please put your max or (even better) current chakra so we can keep track. Drago and I are experimenting and adjusting the draining mechanics so fights do not end too quickly with these abilities.
Hey, not really sure how to interact with your character/creature thing with that kind of opening. Not only that, but I would like you to answer those questions I sent before I respond to your character as well. It just seems odd that you look to have a powerful character after only 4 posts.

Fugen sat on the stump, a hand propping his head up and covering his eyes as he thought of where he would like to go next. There were many suitable candidates to head too but then again, there were WAY too many choices that were equally good that he could pass up. Fugen also knew that he was very limited to the types of techniques that he knew so going into a full scale fight would be rather difficult. Fugen was nearing a choice before his heart jolted into a faster beat and his eyes were growing wide. A loud sound of a gunshot was heard though to him, it was something that resembled more like an exploding tag. But soon after, he heard another boom in another direction, jerking his head towards the latter to see a woman standing there with a rifle pointed at him. His chakra flared as the water bullets came close, absorbing some of the chakra before the bullets struck the oblivious Fugen, knocking him back off the stump but were not strong enough to puncture him. He laid there a bit, a little stunned from the attack as he tried to collect his thoughts.
”Alright Fugen, you see a lone Shinobi with a hostile intent. You have just been struck by what looks like water balls moving at a high speed… You are going to die if you do not do something,” he thought to himself.
Fugen quickly jumped to his feet before attempting to close the gap as quickly as possible while drawing out his tonfas, spinning them a little bit before throwing a fist that looked to be on fire towards the woman, hoping to strike her and end this fight quickly hopefully without someone getting killed.

Edward Chitan, True Metal
Edward Raised the large blade over his head as he moved into the forest, smiling as he began to twirl it in his hands. He would turned carefully, not wanting to cut himself or become too overwhelmed by the weight of it. He would swing it down, smiling as the impact embedded it quite a few centimeters into the ground. He pulled it back out with both hands, before turning quickly, and swinging the heavy weapon. He would need to train his strength to get used to use the broadsword to its fullest. He moved out to a tree, smirking as he prepared himself. With a deep breathe and a mighty swing, he would bring the blade slamming into the side of the tree. The Sword dug in deep. He pulled the blade out, turning one way, before turning quickly the other, swinging the sword even harder. The weapon slashed into the side of the tree, making it halfway through it. He pulled back, sticking his tongue out as he stepped back from the tree, before stepping forward with a bounce in his step, and swinging the blade harder into the cut left in the tree. The sword would cut straight into and through the trunk and the tree would begin to topple...down towards Edward. His eyes grew wide as he quickly brought the blade up again, slashing the falling tree in two, the parts falling in front and behind him. This effort saved him from an all too quick fate. Edward turned, and moved to the next tree, concentrating on chopping it in half this time. He wanted to do this in in a single blow. With such strength, he would be able to be a true threat.

...figures.. she should have sniped from the same location twice. Shooting infront and then shooting another shot.
No time to get mad. Replot attack and continue. He's advancing at a fast rate.. stopped the bullet. Time control?
"No.. that's stupid...Damn..."
So what was he doing? Not right now.. brain focus on the attack. Her eyes refocused on him.
He closed the gap and he was closing it faster. However as she looked up small little bubbles started to pop up in the air. One appeared right infront of her face. Blocking the Tonfa from hitting her. Tonfa.. Nonviolent approach how boring. She wasn't going to play as nice. The tonfa would strike the speed bubble and either the tonfa would strike him back or break upon impact.
However, she needed to get him back away from her. She quickly drew in a big swallow of air and blew as hard as possible. She would hope to blow the little man away. Giving her some range. However even if she did miss, the dust, dirt, and gravel would fly in front of them creating an smoke, or in this case dirt screen. The amount of air she blew would send her backwards also creating a larger gap between them.
"This is boring so far."
She muttered to herself. She wished that this was a killing mission. She would have used her other ability and caused him to kill himself. However,... they wanted to know what he could do.. so she played.. sort of nice. The bullets weren't meant to kill on purpose, but if they did kill him on accident. She wouldn't necessarily be hurt.
Karokee possesses the ability to create a kinetic force field of unknown energy, manifested as iridescent bubbles, around herself which absorbs all kinetic energy directed against her and reflects it with even greater force against whatever object with which she is in contact. Hence, if she struck a wall, she would travel at a greater velocity in the opposite direction. The field cab repell taijutsu, or physical attacks. As such, kunais, punches, and all other physical attacks will bounce off the speedballs. A side effect of this, though, was that she, too, would bounce in the opposite direction. Karokee will still recieve the damage from the attack that she is striken with but she will bounce at a faster rate. The faster she bounces the stronger her physical attacks are. SO while she seems to be shielded from the attack. She is not Shielded from the impact. The bubbles can only be used when she is expecting the technique they do not come up automaticly.
Wind Release Stream- 600 skill points- By blowing air from his mouth, the user is able to change direction while in mid-air at high speeds ,and can also be used to blow up a dust cloud, concealing one's location and movements.-
Alright, I can see a few things that are goign to need some tweaking. Mugen armor is a bit powerful as is against starting shinobi...
~:: Fugen Himoji ::~
Fugen felt the Tonfa strike something before it exploded, knocking the tonfa clear out of his hand as he threw his arm to the side but that was more or less intentional as to not harm himself. But as he felt the tonfa leave his hand, he could tell that the armor had just started to kick in, draining chakra from Karaoke into the infinite void. Soon he felt himself in a torrent of wind, throwing him backwards but he managed to flip himself back onto his feet, stopping himself with a free hand to the ground before looking back up towards the direction of the woman... Only to find that his vision was now obscured... Better that way, he supposed. Fugen stood up straight and raised his hands in front of him much like Zabuza, Suddenly, the battlefield started to become enveloped with a rather thick fog that would hinder the sight of even the most trained.
"Alright, I can not see her and she can not see me... Lets see if I can find her first."
Fugen closed his eyes and disappeared into the mist, using all of his senses to try and figure out her location while remaining hidden within cover of the mist and the foliage.

Edward Chitan, True Metal
Edward would step onto the next tree, smiling as she slashed deep into it, and with a single swing, tore it asunder. He quickly stepped back and around it as the tree would drop. He would follow up by beginning to chop down on the tree, bit by bit. He would move along and up the trunk, cutting chunks out of it with each impact. He breathed heavily, smiling as he moved to the branches, cutting them away. He cleared the branches away with the great blade. He then continued to swipe away at the trunk. Bark and splinters of wood flew out in every direction. By the time he was finished, the tree was in many little pieces. Edward raised the blade in triumph childishly, over his victory against the tree. Edward began thinking, what was there to do next? He would continue walking through the forest, slicing apart tree after tree as he went. No his way walking, he noticed a few things. There was a strange path set in the forest, full of dead trees, plants and animals.
