Okay so for up until now, Dec. 2008, i speak only Spanish and English.
With conversational Mandarin and French.

But in 2009 i will make a SERIOUS attempt to learn French, take classes on it, but i need a license first =S

Only one dared to deal with this language xD Hungarian is less comprehensible that Finnish mrgreen Although both of them derive from the Finno-Ugric languages, there are more differences than similarities between them.

I've found an interesting short film composed of a few lessons - "Learn Finnish".

And another one demonstrating how not to use a phrasebook - "Dirty Hungarian Phrasebook" -- naughty Monty xD

I'm fluent only in two languages, Hebrew (native) and English (11 years).
I'm semi-fluent in Arabic (9 years). It's easier for me to understand something said or written, than it is to speak it myself. It's a matter of practice really... I'm working on it. xD

I'm learning linguistics and Arabic language and literature in university now. So hopefully it's also going to help my Arabic.
As part of my linguistics studies I'm learning Latin, Lithuanian and a little bit of German - I'm planning to take a serious, year-long 'crash-course' in German next year. I really like them all, and I guess I'm going to get better at them, but I still have much to learn.
