Shimmer had always wanted to be a mother, a head of a lovely brood of children - gaggling and running around her hooves. Just like her mother. What Shimmer didn't expect, was such a whirlwind beginning to such a league, but, here she was - heavy with child and glowing with a sense of warmth.
So, she had decided to strike out and find one of the Legendary, a small sprig of flowers in her mouth, a little welcoming and thank you gift, for just listening to her. They worked so hard, she assumed, for how many goats traversed the swamps, so she figured they should receive something in return. Sighing out of her nose from her travels looking, she peered around, wondering if she would come across one, soon.
It was difficult to travel so much, with so much extra weight on your body!

If she looked back, Peep hadn’t always wanted to be a mother so clearly. She had presumed she would be one eventually but the thought had never really crossed her mind, hadn’t become such an enduring force, until she’d fallen pregnant for the first time. The love she had felt for her growing children had been all-encompassing and she had never let go of that feeling, had instead let it extend outwards to so many others.
Like this doe, who she had been travelling fast and hard, pushing her little foxbun body, to reach.
“Oh,” she said, the foxbun transforming from small creature to an Acha in the blink of an eye, “you must be exhausted.” Her own voice was a little breathless. Peep smiled fondly, gaze roaming over that full belly, remembering how it had felt to be stretched so big. “You can rest now.”
