Emberina, or Ember as she would be called by her father, had just hatched from her egg. She was alone inside of a nest inside of an altar. She was small, and her snow white scales, as well as pale skin, made her unique. That, and the fact she was born of a human and a dragon. Her mother was human, and her father was a dragon. As she opened her eyes for the first time, and as they adjusted to the light of the lair. She looked around, cooing as she crawled around the nest curiously. Not soon after, she managed to climb out of the nest. Being that she was half dragon and half human, which no one knew that her 'daddy's' friend had mated with a human, she was smaller than a normal baby dragon would be. The birth of her egg had caused her mother to be killed along with her father, but not before her mother managed to hide their egg here, with a note, written by her father in a draconian language. Ember sniffed around for her mama, wanting to eat, but smelling no trace of her, she began to cry as her belly was empty.

Vobbus the Green Dragon

A large silhouette would be heading towards his letter as it would began to lower his the scent before landing inside of it. He would pull his means and close to his body, as he was clutching something in his right hand before letting it go. It was a huge display of food they has acquired with a single Dragon actually, as he began to look around for her. His nostrils would flare before noticing percent, he would lean down towards her as he stared at her with his mind trying to comprehend what she actually was. But he was here to safe guard the child of a dear friend. So he did not care if she was a hybrid or not, his animal instinct was kicking in to protect and feed her "Eat up little one." Vobbus use his claw to spit the food into piles and use his dragon breath to cook the meat

Ember looked up at Vobbus, with amazed eyes as he looked at her. She then smelled the food that he was cooking with his dragon breath, before she ate her fill happily. The meat was tender enough to where it wouldn't be hard to chew, so she would not choke on it. Once she finished, she crawled over to him and started to wrestle with the end of his tail, growling playfully as she did.

Vobbus move his tail about to mimic playing with her as he laid down on his side watching her. with his head resting over his body "I shell....call you Ember the niece of Vobbus" it was a normal thing of a dragon calling new born something and the name of another dragon. to give him some weight in the world of the dragons.

Ember giggled as she wrestled with her uncle's tail. About four years later, she was still as cute as ever. She was growing like a human rather than a dragon, age-wise that is. She was so happy with Vobbus, and she was always learning something new from him. Right now, she was in her newly found Dragon Form, chasing butterflies and playing around in a big field just below the cave that she lived in with Vobbus. The other dragon hatchlings didn't want to play with her because she was half human, but she did have a couple friends, even if they were not dragons or humans. They were animals.

Vobbus always keep a eye on her. and pick to give her the room to play with her animal friends. he was resting out in middle of the sun. with one eye focus on her. noting would dare to attack her. unless it was humans but he had a plan of showing her around a human village. he had already gain the power to change his form into a more humanoid. draw back he look like a elf in it

Ember giggled as she played with her animal friends. Then she went over to her uncle and said "Come play with me, Uncle Vobbus!" as she tugged on his tail playfully in her dragon form. She was a girl that her parents would be proud of. She didn't know what happened to them, but she knew that Vobbus was very kind to her and thought of her as his own. It seemed like only yesterday she was a newborn, wrestling with her uncle's tail, and playing hide and seek with him not knowing about it, with him only having her giggles to follow.

Vobbus knew she can fly. but only for a short time. he had a plan of helping her able to cover large path of grounds "Ember. care to fly with me...we are going to meet...village of you're mother" he said to her as he also wanted to try out this new form. he would get people staring at him for look like a elf. he knows that Ember. had seen a elf and played with a young elven boy during the last winter.

"Okay!" Ember said smiling up at her Uncle. She was always wanting to spend time with him, even if he wasn't able to. Whenever that happened, she was a bit sad, but never let it get in the way of her playing with her animal friends. Once they took off, and she turned into her dragon form, as she wasn't able to transform into a full human all the way yet but her scales were skin colored in that form now, she giggled as she started flapping her wings like Vobbus showed her. She was so much smaller than he was, but she didn't care, she still loved her uncle Vobbus. Once they made it to the village, her wings were tired. It would be a couple more years before she could go longer distances, with practice. As she turned into her 'human' form, she waited for Vobbus to transform before she held his hand, so she wouldn't get separated from him, like the last village they went to for a few things for her birthday. Though she did enjoy living with her uncle, she never knew what happened to her real parents. All she knew was that they were 'in a better place together' as her uncle put it. She never knew they were killed by a knight. She looked around the village as they walked around, she too looked like an elf, but was unaware of the fear that humans had for dragons. Well, except for her mother and father.

Once they were good distance away from the village. He would land on the ground to take the form of his Elvish form. It would be more acceptable versus a large screen, Dragon, as he would carry her into the town before putting her down. The people. Of course have gotten used to the elf showing up every once a while, and therefore they began to ask him to perform minor little ritual stew fix objects and hope for good bounty harvests. Which he performed to make sure they where approval of his staying there for temporarily as she monitored his little keepsake

Emberina smiled as she held her uncle's hand, after she was set down after he carried her into the village. Being that she looked a bit like him in this form, these humans would probably think he was her papa, which he was in a way. As they walked through the village, Emberina was a bit nervous and would hide behind her uncle whenever someone would stop them to welcome them to the village. She was always so careful around humans back home, she didn't think that in her current form they would not harm her. She would peek out at those who came down to her eye level, but not much else before going back behind her uncle. As she continued to look around, all while holding Vobbus's hand, she saw a whole bunch of things she'd never seen back home. Toys made from wood, and furniture made from wicker. She'd never seen anything like these things before and was curious. While her uncle was busy talking to someone about a ritual for bad spirits, Emberina wandered over to the jewelry stall not having seen jewels like the ones the woman and her husband were selling. They were really pretty, and expensive. She didn't touch them though, as she didn't want to make them dirty, or anything. Young dragons are always attracted to shiny objects like gemstones and things like that. Their young son, about Emberina's age, if not a year older, saw her before she saw him and got shy and ran back to her uncle, hiding behind his leg and peeking out at the young boy who was watching them.

Vobbus put his hand on the top of Emberina's head as he look down at her. with a smile. he had taking care of her for years and to him. she was a daughter to him "It's alright little one. no one here will hurt you. we elves are after all friends to them" it was a lie of course about them being elves when in fact they are dragons, he had to dealt with the so call bad spirt and his mind thought about how safe this village was with what the villagers called the Green Death. Emberina looked up at her uncle with a small smile. She gripped his cloak gently, as she was nervous. As they continued to walk through the town, she held Vobbus's hand. "Where are we going Uncle Vobbus?" She asked wondering where they were going. She was always so curious, as all dragon's her age are. She looked up at him,curious as to what he planned to do.
