The tickets had cost basically all of his savings but Amonee told himself it was worth the price to see his darling Frossa, the perfect muse, perform live at the coliseum. And not only her, Xavier and Eilidh would be on stage! He hoped they would be okay performing in front of so many people. What was Elidae going to do for her act? He practically buzzed with excitement in his seat next to Nucleo. They had stocked up on snacks and signs for the big event!

"I think it's going to start soon!" The crowd was finally somewhat seated and settled in their sections of the coliseum. The stage looked spectacular and he wished he had been able to splurge for closer tickets to see it in even more detail! But at least they were here at all, he supposed. Opening a bottle of juice, he took a sip. It was a warm night, packed in with all these others people.

"Everyone, put your hands together! It's SHEshell's Discorrrrrrrp and Flyyyyyyygirl!" Loud music began to play and two glittering girls started to bounce around the stage. Familiar girls that he had seen around Bloodfest!

"Aahhh... It's Austri's friends, isn't it?" He looked nervous, as if he were terrified the girl herself was going to pop out of one of the giant sea shells on the set. The song was pretty catchy though, even if he wasn't a big military person!

As a sponsor for the event, Nucleo hadn't needed to purchase a ticket, he was wearing a sponsor pass instead. Seated beside his companion, the greenblood chuckled at how excited Amonee was. They'd made their preparations and after all of the drama of this competition, he was ready to kick back and just enjoy the night.

"Austri? Ugh, don't remind me." The barista grumbled at the memory of the unpleasant greenblood. Not only had she bullied Amonee but she'd also been the cause of a fight with one of his clones. It wasn't a good recollection for him. He mused on the fact that most of his most vivid ones seemed to be bad ones.

"Huh, last I checked, the JROTC wasn't an official sponsor." The greenblood frowned, looking over the information pamphlet he'd received for the night's performances. Shrugging off the obvious advertising for their own group, he still enjoyed the upbeat nature of the song even though the lyrics were concerning.

"What the-" His eyes widened in surprise as the duo returned for their second act with a straight jacket. Gasping at the spikes, the greenblood nervously reminded himself they had to have practiced and mastered this act in order to feel confident to perform it here. Watching with tense shoulders, he was impressed at how loud the yellowblood could talk as well as how fast. The tealblood's eerie silent wriggling was disturbing and fascinating at the same time and he could truly say he was relieved when she escaped and it was over.

"Well, that's one way to kick off the show." He glanced at Amonee, curious at what he'd thought of it. Uncapping his own bottle of juice, he waited for the next act to prepare and enter the stage.

He had spent the last few minutes terrified, hands clasped together in concentration as he willed the girls from SHEshell to get through the act without any injuries! Now that that was over, Amonee relaxed and tried to loosen up his shoulders. If he had read the program correctly, that meant next up was...

"It's them! Nukes, it's Xav and Eili!" He grabbed the other greenblood by the arm and shook him eagerly, pointing towards the stage. Wait, what the heck was he doing?! Amonee erupted out of his seat, grabbing a hand-made sign and cupping a hand around his mouth.

"Latte Lovers! WE LOVE YOU!" He waved the sign high up in the air, thought they probably couldn't see it very well from the stage. It was covered in glittery letters that read 'They Got A Latte Talent!' It probably wasn't correct to capitalize every word but Amonee still wasn't sure on the proper protocol for signs.

The tealblood began her song and he felt a swell of pride in his chest as Xavier's beautiful tin flute joined in. They were so lovely together, he could really feel the emotions in their music! He lowered the sign slightly and placed a hand on his chest wordlessly, unable to speak until the song was over.

"That was amazing. They've gotten so good!" He had heard Xavier practicing a few times before when visiting the other jadeblood's hive but he hadn't expected this caliber of performance. And Eilidh had quite a voice to her, much more powerful than her sweet quiet appearance led you to expect.

"Yes! We love you, Latte Lovers!" Nucleo shouted as their friends entered the stage. He beamed with pride at seeing how far they'd come. Xavier and Eilidh were both more private trolls, the type to shy away from the public spotlight if possible. He felt a little bad that they'd signed up to try and promote his business but at the same time a little happy to see them be brave enough to come out here like this. Maybe it'd inspire Eilidh to join Xavier to perform at The Nightly Grind more often! Mostly, he wanted them to earn a little recognition for their talents, from other trolls but mostly themselves!

"Look at them, they're dazzling!" The greenblood smiled to Amonee who looked captivated. Eilidh's voice was beautiful and Xavier's tin flute mixed with it wonderfully. As the pair performed with a genuine love for what they were saying and feeling, he was touched by the sincere look of love between them. Their feelings transferred through the music to craft a heartfelt performance that he hoped would touch others out there watching. He reached to hold up another sign Amonee had brought with the words 'Rose Above The Rest' written in teal glitter. Even if she couldn't see it, maybe she could feel his support from back here and be boosted in spirit.

"That was wonderful. I mean, I knew she had a good voice but that was beyond my expectations!" Nucleo gushed, once the Latte Lovers were lowered back off stage. He wanted to go back stage and applaud them personally but there were still several acts to go that he couldn't miss. Not just as a spectator but also a sponsor. It was important to stay until the last performer so he could pull his company out if anyone did anything he didn't approve of. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that, though!

"Look, a fog machine! And what's that? Whoa!" Nucleo squinted as the stage began to set up for the next performer. Pointing it out to Amonee, the pair watched with curiosity as the stage. Some Tesla coils that Nucleo was unfamiliar with were carted on stage and he gasped in surprise when they sparked out red lightning!

"I'm not sure, it's very modern whatever it-" Amonee leaned to look at what Nucleo was pointing at but the music roared to life and red lightning began to crackle around the stage. Amonee practically jumped out of his seat from the surprise and watched NOVA strut around the stage with all the aggression and flash appeal of a train out of control. It was the kind of entertainment that the violent nature of Alternia enjoyed and the kind of show that made Amonee uncomfortable and somewhat terrified. The jadeblood knew he was somewhat weird for preferring quiet peaceful ponds full of goldfish and flowers.

This was not his aesthetic! He wanted to cry. Why was Frossa's act so much later in the show?

"It's so intense!" He shrieked when NOVA began to send out psychic blasts, grabbing onto the other greenblood's arm when the frantic strobe lights kicked in. It was violent, chaotic and probably a decent portrayal of what kind of talent the show was looking for. Sascha's vocals were alright, his dancing was even better. It was just a little too scary for Amonee and he pressed his face into Nucleo's shoulder, peeking out at the stage periodically until the first act was over.

"Phew, that was very... energetic. I wonder what he'll do next?" Spotlights kicked in, searching the stage for the star and NOVA reappeared, grinning as he announced his intention to beat some people up. Amonee sunk down in his seat a little bit as more thunder and lightning kicked in. The battle choreography was pretty good in all honesty but he just couldn't stand the storm atmosphere!

Autumn had asked Caiden for help with her act and the boy was ticked. He would get to help Autumn become a star! She only really wanted him to use his powers as special effects a little, but the brownblood was more than ready to do that. In the meantime tho, he had some time to kill. He was mostly snacking on the free refreshments that were offered backstage, They were supposed to be for performers he had soon learned, and the brownblood was asked to leave and come back only for the act he was needed on, after he had cleared two big bags of chips from said refreshment table. Still having one large party sized bag in hand, the boy went to find a seat in the audience. Like a flashing light, he could not help but see Nucleo's bright stripes, and Amonee's pink accessories. "Nucleo!! Amonee!!" The boy yelled as he made his way over to them. "Oops! Er, sorry, uh, watch out! coming through!" The brownblood said as he squeezed past other trolls, only spilling chips on a few of them. When he finally got to the two greenbloods he sat down on the ground in-between their two chairs. "Whoa! Did you see that last one? The one with the lightning and stuff?! It was CRAZY wasn't it? Oh, Amonee! Are you okay? You look a little pale. Here! Have some chips!" Caiden offered the bag around, spilling some here and there. "Oooh! The next act!" The brownblood was behaved enough to fall silent as the performer got on stage tho, his eyes glued to the performance.

"Whoa!" Nucleo was equally shocked by NOVA's act! Startled by the volume and powerful visuals, he didn't know how to react at first! Then as Amonee whimpered against his arm, the greenblood felt terrible. He looked so scared! Wrapping the arm around him, he let Amonee bury his face against his chest to hide away from the scene. The jadeblood hated this kind of violence and quivered until the noise was over. As NOVA's second act began, the pair watched the death dancing feeling less overwhelmed but still uncertain. Nucleo knew it wasn't a real fight and thus didn't need to worry but kept an eye on Amonee to make sure he was still okay. And vaguely, as he watched it, he thought of Chiara and wondered how she was doing. It'd been a while since they last talked. Was she doing alright?

There wasn't much time to dwell on it, however, as a chipper voice called over to him.

"Caiden!" Nucleo brightened at the familiar face. The orangeblood looked more hyped then ever and began to all but roll over the crowd to them. He found himself laughing at the graffiti artist's antics as he spilled chips everywhere. It was truly amazing how big of messes Caiden could create, each one a masterpiece! Truthfully, after the tension of the last act, the silly scene was just what he needed.

"Can you see from there?" Nucleo playfully nudged Caiden with his foot and reached down to take a few chips.

"Oh! I remember him! He was at the..." The barista recalled as Fellah appeared on stage next. The troll had a great voice and charming country appeal! The rustic feel brought out some rural pride in Nucleo as Fellah donned a suit and then tore it away in favor of his roots once more. This act would go over much better with Amonee than the last! But when he finally placed the face it took Nucleo back to a chilling moment, a gun pressed against his back. He'd been just a kid then, he hadn't deserved that brush with his own mortality. Wincing slightly, he decided to not finish the thought out loud. He didn't want to remind Amonee of it.

"Hey, is this a confession?" The greenblood flushed at the second song all about a certain color. It was a bold move, if it was! He wished he had the courage to do something so confident and outrageous! Impressed, Nucleo found he couldn't stop his foot from tappin' and once it was done his hands from clappin'!

"Caiden, omigosh, it's so good to see you!" Amonee brightened at the sight of a dear friend and immediately made space for the brownblood to join them. It was always a good time when the other painter was around. He accepted some of the chips that were offered to him and pushed some of the snacks he had brought into Caiden's arms in exchange. Not everyone liked the sunflower seeds but most enjoyed the teriyaki jerky.

"He's pretty good. Cute too." The jadeblood giggled and covered his mouth as Fellah performed on stage. The redblood had a charming country vibe to him that made the greenblood feel cozy and happy. While he enjoyed pop music, there was something comfy about a less "produced" sound. He wiggled his shoulders back and forth to the beat in a relaxed dance to the song.

"My goodness, I think you're right!" Amonee flushed green at the next song and Nucleo's question. "Go for it! WOOOO!" He stood up to cheer the singer's passionate love on. It was so incredibly romantic, he was amazed by the vulnerability and the affection of the act! It was incredible what love would make you do.

"Hey Caiden, is there anyone you'd sing a love song to?" He poked the top of the boy's head teasingly, honestly curious. Caiden was such a ball of positive energy, had he found love yet?

Caiden gladly exchanged snacks with the jadeblood, his curiosity piqued in the sunflower seeds. He had seen the flower plenty all over busthind, but eating them? That was something new. The brownblood was busy filling his face as the song went on, enjoying Nucleo and Amonee's commentary, when the jadeblood said something shocking. "Lo-love song?!" Caiden exclaimed, blushing and spewing out a mouthful of seeds. A love song, the boy blushed yet more as an image of Autumn popped into his head. Oh he didnt know if he could even admit feelings like that, he was still a happy go lucky kid! The brownblood was busy hiding his blushing cheeks when the act changed. "L-look! The next act is coming!" Caiden pointed out to change the subject. It was another redblood, a smaller one than the large country singer who had just been on. "Oooh!" Caiden commented, "Oh i like the, um, heart on this one!" The brownblood said, cheering the kid on.
