There wasn't exactly a point that Grendell could say what happened on the trip. About the time her figure was blown completely, she remembered the last Venus day party. Remembered is a strong word as vaguly recalled something fit better. This time she'd gone with some leafy winged male picked up along the way. Decent company all things considered but that was it, so she thought.
After she settled things as best she could with the villiage, it was off to the healing house. Getting pregnant completely threw off her game along with her figure.
Pampering by the Healing House had its perks, she was never one to turn down such attention. Only, towards the end she was so waddled up that even she couldn't fully enjoy it. Then, at last, the parasites were born. Raising them was against the question, they didn't fit her story and after the last one...no they needed to be somewhere.
There had been an idea to just leave them at the healing house, but that one seemed to be frowned upon. Finally, she sighed and gathered the unnamed boys into a basket for transport. Not long for giving birth, the trip taxed her to the point she almost gave up and just left them. That was a true lie, even dismissive of the things she couldn't abandon them.
She didn't know what his name was, couldn't remember, but at least she knew where to go. All she had to do was drop the basket and get back to her home as if nothing had ever happened.

Placing the basket in front of the home, she turned and started to lift off the ground. Her action sent vanilla wafting around her body. Normally, this was the fun part. This time, it was an annoyance. There was fitting that he knew she was here, however, finding out before her time wouldn't do.
Without looking back, Grendell soared up shooting as far as far away as her wings could get her.
Only, the scent lingered strongly, waiting. So far the babies hadn't cried, between listening the woman scolded herself. She should have kicked the basket.
That was familiar. Something in the air strong enough to be comforting yet, yet there was a not-there. Huh, no concept of what wasn't but there was something not!

Why had the thing that had always been leave? Another noise joined his noise, startling the babe into making more noise. Now there was another thing peering down at them! He didn't know what it was but it was big and scary and it moved!
This couldn't be happening. It was just one vacation! The scent of vanilla was unmistakably Gren, and the two crying babies were obviously...obviously... "Gren?! GREN?! GREEEENNN!" He shouted into the wind, but of course she would've been long gone. Giving him a fake address, purposely leaving their children on his doorstep, she truly wanted nothing to do with him. He started to shake as his heartbeat raced, his body frozen in indecision as he stared down into the blankets. One of them had stopped crying at least. That was good. That was-oh he was burying his face into the blankets! Suffocating was not good! It served to finally make his body respond to him, and he bent down to move the blanket off of the blonde babes face before lifting the blanket. With one more quick look around, Leif stepped back inside with his basket while closing the door behind.
"Okay...okay. Game plan. Need a plan. Grendell is gone. I have no idea where and no idea how to track her. There is...no note on the basket. I have no clue what your names are. Or if you have names. I...I don't have a crib...or...Maybe Dad does from me or Natta or Ash. We don't have formula...Oh guardians we don't have formula." Wide eyed stare. They didn't have formula. But they weren't far from Star Grove, and grandma just had babies. Okay. It was going to be okay. Where were his Dads?! Or siblings? Were they ALL out doing chores?!
