It's only been a sweep since the country bumpkin troll became enamored by the presence that one Odette Cygnet exuded. He would have never imagined he'd be in a musical with her, let alone judging a karaoke contest with her this sweeps Bloodfest. Yet here they were, sitting backstage of the booth, both posed to give their expert opinions to trolls who decided to put themselves in the spotlight. He couldn't imagine his audition with Aandes being this stressful. He was just grateful to have gotten the opportunities he had thus far. The farm troll was dressed up for the festival, but there was an air of country humility that just seemed impossible of shaking. It would likely become his brand as his career moved forward. Fellah wasn't sitting far from Odette, but he just couldn't bring himself to bring up conversation, just awkward side eyed glances at her. Had she remembered him from last sweep? That was unlikely, but if she had he only hoped she didn't hold the Kursha debacle against him. He wasn't exactly starstruck anymore, it was more of a silent respect that kept him from bringing up last Bloodfest. Still, his thinkpan was positively buzzing with questions about showbiz. She was the veteran celebrity, he was the up and comer. He remembered the storied tabletop game he played last sweep. Though of course that couldn't be the full Odette Cygnet story, not the authentic one. Or so he surmised.

Odette regarded the other redblood with a calm look, sipping her water carefully and enjoying her peaceful break from the light. It wasn't so long ago that she first met this redblood, in fact it had been a year prior, at the previous bloodfest. She wondered how things had worked out for him in that following year, for him to be sitting beside her now. Then again, considering his charming face, Odette had no reason to be surprised.
She turned to the country troll after finishing her drink. "Fellah, did I ever get to thank you?" She asked, with a knowing look. Perhaps the farmer troll would get confused, but she believed she was being simple enough. Still, she added in some clarification. "For standing up like you did. Last bloodfest?" She said, watching him with genuine interest.
