[Ascensions] July Sign-up Thread

The swamp is ready.
Its fireflies have been sleeping in the eyes of its children
and they stumble blindly through the mire, lost.

The time for the lights of the swamp has returned.
The spirits of the mares and the stags are ready
to stir in the bodies of the Kimeti.

We are legendary. We are story and myth taken form.
We are souls bound to the flesh of our
Sisterbrother, our Motherfather, the Swamp.
And we are ready to awake...

In an attempt to reward those of you who have been active in the shop, avid RPers, and incredibly patient, we're making an effort to catch up on ascensions for those kin who have fulfilled the Legendary requirements:

• A naming dream for the kimeti in question
  
• Ten finished RPs [aka ten "RP points"] including the kimeti.
  
• A story told or responded to by the kimeti in question.

However, as there seem to be quite a few kin prepared to ascend, and there are only so many of us, for the time being we're doing this as a lottery -- meaning that we're only doing a few ascensions at a time, rolled at random from this thread. Fear not, though -- we'll be doing more next month, and the month after, and so on...!

This month, from now until Monday, July 18th, at 11:59pm EST, we'll be accepting applications from those of you who have completed the above reqs for one of your kin, and who have posted a thread for said kin here that links to all your RPs. If you have filled these reqs and posted in this thread by the time this thread closes on July 18th, you'll be entered into a lotto to be part of this month's ascensions!

You can post once per kin ready to ascend. This means that if you, somehow, have 8 kin ready to go, you can use the form in the next thread to post 8 times -- but if you only have one, you can only post once.

In addition, if you posted in previous Ascension Raffles but did not win, please link your post from those threads for an extra ticket!

Since it's been so long, EVERYONE can enter this round of ascensions!

Please note that taking part in an Ascension does not guarantee that your kin will become a Legendary. This is a rigorous writing exercise with multiple prompts that you must respond to thoughtfully and in character so your kin can prove their worth to the swamp.
