Zphal Song Phox Young I think it depends on how much you want to emphasize the Star of David. Well, that it be semi-Hanukkah themed is important to me.
Then I think you should should go with the first emblem. It is also more symmetrical, and thus more appealing, compared to the second. Also, the bolder lines speak louder and give it stronger but smoother feel. It captures more, I think. (I realized this upon a second examination). That's my opinion, anyhow.
