[GM ORP] Mafia Wars: Feeling Hungry? PG5

For those who had been to the room of Wrath, they may find the structure of this room to be similar. It was a fairly large, cavernous space. However, instead of scenes of violence along the sides, the murals along the walls seem to depict various beings feasting and gorging themselves. The room, in general, was also considerably less empty. Large tables could be seen, piled high with delectable foods of all sorts. The scent in the room was heavy, and it was enough to make a fire demon's mouth water even.

There seemed to be foods for all sorts of tastes as well. All of it, tempting. Perhaps just a taste couldn't hurt.... right?

Notably, there was no sign of Settimo.

Strider found himself in a quieter room (well, quiet save for the other mafia?? members). A feast was laid out before him and Strider immediately sat at one of the benches and kicked up his shoes.

"FINALLY. Someone gets it," he said, pulling one of the sandwiches off the table and biting into it.

Except ... then his stomach kind of hurt. It was probably just from how hungry he was. Yeah, that was it.

Seeing as the stomachache quickly subsided, he deduced that his assumption had been correct. After all, these sandwiches were pretty good.

He took a few more for the road, and began looking at the murals around the room. Freaky stuff, though he approved of the bloated figures for obvious reasons.

The murals are pretty intricate. Someone's put in a quite bit of work in carving the stone for these images. Strider may have even spotted one part of the wall with what appeared to be a bloated shark swallowing something whole.

Strider paused to take a selfie with the mural. He also sent a snapbat to his friends with the caption "me w/ myself" because social media was important. Unfortunately he blocked out most of the picture with himself. Oh well, he was what really mattered anyways.

Now where in Jack's name was Settimo? He had been right ahead of Cearney, he swore --

Well, there was some tasty looking food in here. Perhaps he could eat a bit while he waited for Settimo to show his face again. He strode forward to where some of the fanciest snacks were sitting, lifting up one and immediately eating it like there was no tomorrow or even any time ahead.

Cearney usually didn't eat a whole lot. Honestly, he didn't need to, considering that not only was he made of FEAR anyway, he was kind of short and diminutive and didn't really need a whole lot to sustain himself.

With the way he was eating, it seemed that Cearney had suddenly forgotten about that fact.

Right when he was about to shovel more food in his mouth more akin to a gluttonous demon than the proper leprechaun he was, Cearney suddenly snapped out of it with a, "Ew," as he shoved the food away he had just been craving very deeply.

That was well enough food for him.

Cearney decided he wasn't going to ask. He was here to find the ring of power. And Settimo. But perhaps the ring first...

Cearney walked over to one the tables, curious to see if there was anything on them of interest besides for the piles of food.

He found himself in a room full of food, and the thought made him want to recoil. It was a gag reflex, of sorts. Being surrounded by so much food reminded the boil of his past, his history, his family, and of the inherent parts of himself that he was not all that fond. They were a part of him, yes, but he didn't want them to be what defined him because he was made of so much more. He was more than white bones and glowing gold eyes. He reached for one.

As soon as he took a bite, TK immediately regretted it. As tasty as it was, he didn't want to eat. This was not him, so he hastily set the halfeaten pastry down before taking a step back to recompose himself.

Once he'd finished taking a deep breath, he looked around for any secret doors. A rather popular contraption to have in these sorts of situations, right?

Shun had taken notice that more people had filtered into the gold symbol room, so he moved on to the other one. He paused at the sight and smell of... everything in there. He wasn't sure what to expect upon entering, but this definitely wasn't among the things he would have.

The Reaper looked around the mounds of food. It certainly smelled good, but he wasn't about to try eating anything here. He didn't trust any of it. It could easily be some sort of trap as far as he was aware.

He saw a few students around, but he couldn't find any of the mafioso.

"Odd..."

There were spookies laden upon tables - spookies, cakes, the occasional rack of some kind of meat. It was a feast, no, a number of feasts all piled high and wafting out a most delicious aroma. She blinked. Eating was not what they were here for, though. Wants had to be put aside, and she traveled the perimeter of the room, fingers trailing along the mural. It was somehow just as grisly as the mural of fighting, but in a different way.

"Settimo?" she called out, not expecting him to give his position away. She looked up, half hoping he would swing out of some unseen rafters like a vengeful eagle, and continued to circle the room. While she was faster in thought and action than most warders, she still possessed s sort of deliberate assessment of her surroundings as slow as any warder.

The murals continued up into the ceiling. As high up as it was, there wasn't really any places where anyone could lurk from above. The ceiling itself was a dome. Though at its center was a larger chunk of stone carved out into the shape of some sort of maw.

As she circled about, she might notice that some of the food seemed to slightly shift out of the corner of her eyes.
