	So, he wasn't entirely sure where he was. He assumed he was right near someone's pride, though what pride he wasn't sure. There had been distinct paw prints that had alerted him that there was a lot of traffic in the general area. The only question was, where they friendly? He had just gotten done escorting a really nice lioness over to the pridelands so she could see her family and now he was on his way back to his pride. Well, if he wasn't lost that is. He paused and looked around. This wasn't the way he had come earlier and he was slightly confused as to where he now was. Well wasn't this great? He shook his head and realized he was going to have to wait until nightfall and look at the stars. It was something he had done often when he was at home so he'd be able to figure out his way no problem once it was dark. But that was still a ways off. What to do until then? Polette

	Walking slowly, Emi had decided to go out for a walk to explore her new pride's territory. It wasn't really all that new, but ever since she arrived here, she'd been so busy with pridal things and family that she hadn't had any time to just stop and look around. Being able to be with her sisters and nieces and nephews was a real joy in her life, and she was so happy to be able to begin this new chapter as an independent adult - with a little help from her sisters, of course. She had been so lucky to find where they had ended up, and even luckier that she was able to join the same house as them. Eyes drifting from one landmark to another, Emi paused for a moment as a scent briefly drifted into her nose; it was unfamiliar, but she was unfamiliar with a majority of the pride. She looked around, trying to see if she could see anyone near her, but if they blended in like she did, it'd be impossible to find them until they were right up on her. 	Polette You're welcome He had a very odd feeling that he was probably on someone's lands, though whose it was, wasn't privy to him so he kept to where he was as he walked, not wanted to head any further onto them or off of them. One of the main reasons he remained on them was because he was in some dire need of assistance, mainly in pointing him in the right direction anyway. Though who was to say they would even know where it was he needed to go. Pale eyes scanned the area and he realized that the lands were well covered and many species could blend in well with it, including himself. With this in mind he honestly didn't even spot the female cheetah until he was almost on top of her and this caused him to jump back, slightly startled. "I beg my pardon. I honestly didn't see you." He said rather embarrassed about the whole ordeal. "I didn't startle you or anything did I?" He asked rather concerned as he looked at her and then admired her coloration, mainly because it wasn't often he spotted someone who was so closely colored to himself.

	Ears perked and moving to follow where she thought the unfamiliar scent was traveling, Emi could hear a slight rustling. The sound grew and grew until suddenly there was another creature right in front of her. Her head jerked back in surprise, her gray eyes wide. "Oh!" She paused, letting out a sharp breath before speaking again. "Well, not entirely." Her body eased, and she gave him a closer look-over. His coloring was remarkably similar to her own - for a moment, she wondered if they might be related. "Are you...from my pride?" She was a little hesitant to assume that he was - she had ventured closer to the border today than usual, and she didn't want to give away any secrets she wasn't supposed to. AstoriaFallen

	Polette He was relieved that he hadn't startled her too bad, they had kinda just appeared out of nowhere to one another. At her question if he was in their pride he shook his head. "No, I'm not from around here.. I kinda lost my way heading back to my family." He said being honest with her up front as he took a step back to look at her a little better. They did look quite similar in coloration but she had a very lovely marking upon her shoulder. "My name is Viherminttu, what may I call you?" He asked her hoping that he hadn't intruded into this prides lands too badly. He knew not all of them didn't take kindly to strangers. He really needed to be better about such things but he was still young and it would seem so was she, at least she didn't look too much older than himself.

	"Oh..." So he wasn't from around here. Though she and her sisters had traveled to these lands, she knew he couldn't be family. He didn't quite smell like it. "Well, that's quite unfortunate." Her shoulders eased and her expression softened - she remembered what it was like when she was separated from her sisters and her mother. She had been so happy when she found her sisters again, she hoped a reunion like hers was in store for this male. "My name..." She thought for a moment - she had been fairly confused about her new pride's rules about names, but she had gotten the hang of it eventually. She hadn't had to talk to an outsider in awhile, though. "...is Emi." She gave him a smile, thinking him quite the kind stranger. "Well, you're in luck, we're not in the habit of being rude to strangers." She gave a slight wink as she chuckled; she had heard stories of other prides that would kill strangers on sight, and she knew he must be at least a little worried about his safety after accidentally stumbling upon a pride. 	Polette In case you want to finish this "It's not all that bad!" He said at her expression and he did his best to let her know it was okay. "I've actually met quite a few others and made some friends on the way." Giving her a smile in reassurance to not fret. Emi. He liked it. It was pretty simple and almost elegant in a way. "It's nice to meet you Emi." "I guess I am in luck then! I don't think I've met anyone who wasn't welcoming to strangers just yet so hopefully my luck doesn't run out yet." Laughing he could only imagine if he were to run into others that weren't so nice. He hadn't had to defend himself yet, but he was sure he could manage if it were to happen. "Have you been in this pride your whole life?" He figured getting to know her a little bit wouldn't hurt.

	"I'm glad to hear." Emi's smile was still soft, and she thought about the almost-dangerous run-ins she had had before coming here. Being a cheetah could be extra dangerous, with their slender bodies and lower stamina. "It's nice to meet you as well." "It's quite the place, I must say." Her gaze shifted towards her home for a moment. "Actually, I was born rogue, out there somewhere. My mother raised me and my sisters wonderfully, but, as life is, we had to separate. It was luck of my own that I ended up finding my sisters here." Her face was bright, remembering that day. Funnily enough, they had all ended up with the same position as well. 	Polette The sheer size of what he could see so far was impressive, so he imagined there was a great deal to the pride that he wasn't seeing still. He wasn't going to pry though, some prides like to keep things secretive. "I'm glad you were able to end up somewhere with your family! I could only imagine if I was separated from my family." He said looking at her with warm eyes. "it's a very wonderful pride, we have lots of different species on our lands and everyone is super helpful." It truly was a wonderful place and he couldn't wait to get back there and tell his family about his visit here. "Do you think you could show me around a bit? If not I completely understand." He sorta wanted to get to know her a little bit more before moving on.

	"Ah, so this is just a little break away? That sounds nice, to go visit new places every once in awhile." Luckily for Emi, her position allowed her to roam quite a bit. "You'll have to tell me more about where you're from." She found other prides so interesting ever since she'd joined one; it was such an odd concept for a cheetah, she was surprised the idea even interested her to the point of joining one. "I can! I'll be your escort and your guide. Just to make sure your luck streak keeps going." She gave another wink, shifting to her paws. In all honesty, she didn't want the outsider to be mistaken for a threat and accidentally injured or killed. "Here, we can talk more while we walk." AstoriaFallen (( That sounds good! ^^ Fin~ ))

	Polette fin <3 "It's a little mixture of break and doing my job." He'd be able to explain to her more as they walked along. He was training to be a healer and part of his training was going out into the world helping those he came across if they needed it. Clearly he had some form of training before paw but it was still a little nerve wrecking if he was being honest with himself. "I would be very happy to tell you about my pride and then you can tell me more about yours as well!" He beamed quite pleased with how things were turning out. He waved a paw for her to lead the way and that he would follow. "After you Emi."
