Tsiana rubbed her eyes as she continued her patrol in the forest. Her visions had kept her up late into the night, something that had never happened before. She couldn’t close her eyes without being greeted by strange images that didn’t make sense to her. These visions were different than the ones she normally had. Usually she had a slight control over them. She could meditate and see a clear vision and generally understand what was happening.

She let out an audible yawn as she tried to forget about her lack of sleep and the visions. Hopefully this would be the last time it would happen. She was going to speak to her master about the situation, but when she went searching for him, she was told that he had gone on a walk to clear her mind. Together they were supposed to patrol they land, searching for anyone in trouble. She could not abandon her duty to the pride, even if she had to patrol be herself. However she did wish that someone could have accompanied her during her walk. Traveling alone, even for such a short time was such a drag.

So far the patrol had been quiet. The last few patrols she had little to no action. The most exciting thing to have happened lately was her tending to an injured bird. For a moment she stopped and looked up to check out the trees. ‘Maybe I should climb up one, just to get a better look.’ She thought as she walked to one of the bigger trees in the area. Tree climbing was one of her greatest skills. She could even climb quicker than her master! He was always advising her to take her time when climbing, but that spoiled the fun!

With a mighty leap, she started making her way up.

Buru had been watching the female cheetah for quite sometime. He knew that he had to get his job done but he wanted to make sure he got it done right. He knew the female often patrolled with her master but now that he saw her on her own he knew that this was his time this was when he was going to manage to take her over to the dark side. He would woo her and once he had accomplished that he would lead her back to his pride, convert her before she even realized what was going on.

When he saw her take a great leap up the tree he cursed a little. He wasn't sure how to approach her while she was up in a tree. He was amazed by the grace that she had as she leapt further and further up the tree. He had to think fast but he knew what to do. He collapsed his body laying awkwardly as if he was suffering from heat exhaustion. He had seen her a few times tending to those who were injured or sick. He guessed that she would be able to see him from her tree top perch and that she would come out to see why he was laying all awkward angles in the middle of the hot desert.

He closed one eye but kept the other open just a slit to watch and see when she would be coming. This is the perfect plan. he thought to himself. Once she came he would allow her to tend to him, then instead of coming back to her pride for care he would insist that his was close by and could she just walk him home.

Tsiana jumped freely from branch to branch, with great agility. Once she was about two-thirds up the tree she stopped to look around. Master Drox wouldn't have let her climb this high. By now he would tell her that she was wasting time. As she looked around, she knew that she wasn't wasting time. From here there was so much she could see. In stead of wasting her time walking, she could quickly scan the area for trouble.

As she scanned the area, she saw someone lying on the ground. The way he was angled didn't look like he was resting. Carefully she jumped back down the tree. This was her chance to show her master that she had become a skilled padawan. This would be the first time she would be able to help someone without Drox's assistance.

When she reached the ground, she dashed toward the cheetah. As he came into view, she slowed down and took in her surroundings. She positioned herself next to him. “Can you hear me?” She started. At first glance she didn't see any injuries. Her guess was that the cheetah was just exhausted. Gently she patted his paw with her own.

When Buru saw the female come his way he closed his eyes fully. He did his best to slow his breathing down and appear in all ways to be close to death. So far he was amazed that his plan seemed to be working, and he didn't want his breathing to be his give away.

He felt her move up aside him and then her voice rang through his ears. He didn't respond at first. He just laid there as still as could be. Finally he let out a small quiet groan, it wasn't much a sound that was likely barely audible. He wanted to appear really sick, but not so sick that he would have to go back to her pride with her, it was possible he would be recognized as a sith if he ended up there and all things would go bad.

"Where am I?" he let out as a whisper flickering his eyes open looking up with a soft expression at the female cheetah.

Tsiana laid her head against his chest, to make sure his breathing was stable. He was breathing slowly, but steadily she thought as she removed her head and look at him again carefully. She had to think this through. This would be her first 'mission' without master Drox.

When he did not respond right away to her, she became worried. If he died now, there was no way she could prove herself to Drox.

And then he spoke. It was oddly comforting to hear his voice, even if it was quiet. “You are at the border of Mizani'Ulimwengu. I am a jedi padawan and I am here to help you.” She said quickly. “What happened to you?”

She could scold herself. Such a novice question to ask. Drox would have focused first on getting him better than figure out what happened to him. A person past is never the top priority. Getting them to safety is. “Could you tell me what hurts? Is there anything I can get you?”

Buru had to resist the urge to smile, his plan was working this was perfectly. "Water I need water." he told her putting on the act of having a dry coarse voice. He was careful not to sit up or move to fast he needed to appear week.

"I think I must have gotten to hot." he told her looking around the area as if he was confused and misplaced. In truth Buru had picked this location and it couldn't be more perfect. He knew of a water hole that was close by and he knew she knew of it as well. It led them away from her pride and closer to his. If he could get her there it wouldn't be hard to get her to keep coming with him to his pride where he will have accomplished his mission. It was perfect.

During her patrols she had seen a watering hole not far from here. She frowned, wondering if it was too far for them to travel. If she was going by herself she could get there and back in no time. She could figure out how to transport the water someway, but then she would have to leave him. That was out of the question. Not everyone was as friendly as the Jedi. It wouldn't be too strange for someone to attack a defenseless cheetah for no reason.

“Do you think you can walk? I can take you to some water. Maybe you can lean on me while we walk?” She asked, wishing there was a better solution to their problem.

Buru tried to balance how weak he was, he needed to appear weak enough to need her assistance but not se weak she would insist on getting help or taking him back to her home. He couldn't risk one of the Jedi recognizing him and connecting him to the Sith.

"Yes yes. I think I could walk. I might need a little help." Buru said his voice was quiet and a little shaky. He rose to his feet and stayed close to the female cheetah. When they began their slow walk to the water hole he remained quiet. Saying to much could cause her to grow weary of him, instead he thought his silence was fitting for the condition he was meant to be in.

Once their he took his last few shaky steps to the water whole edge. He lowered his head to take a long cool drink, he wasn't dehydrated but the cool water sliding down his throat was a welcome sensation. After drinking his feel he sat back on his haunches. "Thank you." he said to her.

"I wonder if I could ask just one more thing of you." he asked her. He kept his voice soft and his eyes downcast, he needed to sound weak and as if he felt terrible for asking "My home is not far from hear, I am still feeling kind of weak and don't know that I am able to get there all on my own. Would you mind terribly escorting me back home?"

Tsiana kept close to him as they walked, just in case he struggled. She watched him through the corner of her eyes to make sure he didn't trip and fall. If he fell, it would only make things more difficult. The silence as they walked gave time for Tsiana to think about their situation. She kept her outward appearance calm, not wanting to worry the other cheetah. However she listened carefully just in case they were being followed.

Seeing the water took off a lot of the stress off Tsiana. She didn't have to worry any more about if they would make it to the water. “Drink as much as you can.” She said when they reached the watering hole. As he was drinking she kept her eyes open in case they were attacked.

She glanced at him when he thanked her and gave a small smile. “It's my job.I am apart of the Mizani'Ulimwengu pride as a Jedi in training. We are taught to help and protect those who need it.” When he said his request, it made Tsiana pause. Going this far from the pride was already pushing it. She wondered if how much trouble she would get into if she was gone for even longer. It wasn't like she was goofing off though. She was just doing her job.

“I can take you back your home. I'm afraid I won't be able to stick around too long though. If I am missing for too long my mentor will start to worry about me and start a search party. He is a little protective of me.” She explained.

Buru took a deep breath before he spoke next. He could feel his excitement growing. He had almost managed to get her back to his pride. He wondered for a brief moment if the feeling in the stomach was guilt however he quickly ruled that out and chalked it up to be excitement at nearly finishing his mission.

"Thank you I understand that you wont be able to say." he felt his stomach do a little flip flop at the mention of her mentor. He was almost there already he couldn't let any nerves change his action plan he knew that once they got into the range of the pride those who were patrolling the boarder would see them and come out to collect her and bring her in with him. He couldn't wait to see the master's face, the green cheetah could already feel his pride growing.

"Just about there, thank you again." he said to her keeping his tone weak. The pride came into view and he saw the boarder patrol coming out their way. In just a few moments the mission would be over he would be successful.

As soon as the guard reached them Buru changed his demeanor standing taller he cleared his throat. "Take her in, I am going to see Master Majanga." he told them. He didn't take a second look at the cheetah he had just tricked, he knew that she would likely never forgive him which was a shame she was a pretty cheetah. None of it mattered though Buru knew that he soon would be raising in the ranks soon and he would be able to have the pick of any female he wanted.

It was a trap. She stared at the cheetah she had helped. How could he do this to her. She bore her teeth at the guard and the cheetah. “I helped you and you just tricked me?!” She was about to lunge at the cheetah when the guard hit her hard on the head, knocking her out.
