Making Friends (Iluka x Tsun)

Tsun was getting use to his new job. For years he had been a hunter but happily now he had switched to being a cub sitter. There weren't too many cubs in the pride right now however so he found himself with quite a few days off. Something he thought he would like more than he did. It was nice to have free time, but sometimes he felt a little bit useless. The time he got to spend with cubs though was the best time ever!

Since his cub sitting talents weren't necessary today he found himself simply hanging around mother tree. Perhaps he would get a chance to meet some new souls. Tsun had been in the pride the majority of his life yet he hadn't made as many friends as he should have, he was determined now to make all the friends he could. Not to mention he had long since reached that age where he should be settling down with a family.

Iluka had long gotten used to her home, and no longer considered herself new there. Or different from the other lions. She was a welcome member of the family, and she deeply appreciated that. She sighed softly as she moved near the mother tree, just roaming within the pride to see if there was anyone around to speak to.

While she loved her home, there were some bitter memories there. Like the male she had come to the pride with leaving without a word. It seemed she hadn't been that upset about it, so perhaps her feelings for him hadn't been that strong, but it still bothered her that he had proven to be such a con artist. She needed to be smarter about whom she got close to, though being within the pride helped with that. There were few she couldn't trust now.

She spotted a male not far from her, the lioness smiling faintly as she wandered over to him. "Hello, brother," she offered lightly, "lovely day, isn't it?"

Tsun was pleased the the female had approached him. It made it easier for him, he could be an awkward fellow so it was always good when he didn't have to start up a conversation. "Good day sister." he said settling into a seated position.

He studied the female he was pretty sure he had seen her around but didn't think she had been born here in the jungle. She was of favour colouring though for the pride with her mostly white coat and blue markings, Tsun found himself drawn to her.

"How are you doing today?" he asked cocking his head to the side.
