I like it, but er... Unless there is an item resupply system in place things are going to run out on the market a lot more...

It got stomped. Thankfully, otherwise the marketplace would become a gold generator.

"If items begin to deflate in a way that may negatively affect item sellers, it will be adjusted in the opposite direction to help maintain the value of your items." This, this is a problem. There should be no adjustment. And his doesn't get rid of gold, this is an alternative to gold gens. now you can directly pay one currency for a commodity, and the one selling will get a completely different currency.

"Fewer gold chance items, stability in the economy, great deals on legendary items, and the option to finish your item quests in an instant regardless of your gold amount." Yes to the first, the second is not happening with this build, no not for people who want to purchase things in the long run as this is going to increase the amount of gaia cash flowing in for stupid amounts of money. The difference is that you aren't converting gc into your own gold, but an item from someone else, and someone else is converting the item into obscene amounts of gold. (but as logic looks like: [Gaiacash]=[item]=0 platinum it simplifies to [gaiacash]=0 platinum)

"If this feature is successful, it will have a strong impact on the frequency and amount of gold chance items from here on out." This part is good. but they just have to throw out the idea that users can buy gold with gaia cash. the market is unstable because people can turn real money into artificial inflation. Changing how the gold is flowing in doesn't change that it's still flowing in faster than it should be.

The original 2% market tax was put into place because people were using the market to buy gold shop items, and there was starting to be an inflation in item value because the shops weren't getting enough gold out of the system.
