Got a specialist to come out yesterday. It has been 4 months since I got titan back and he is still hiding, still pissing in the ceiling. Still haven't seen him.
Like..I had no idea there were so many calming cat products. She was going through and showing them and recommending brands that she likes. I got some on amazon.
We're going to start by giving him tiny bits of salmon in the ceiling every day, get him used to that routine then move the salmon down to the water hearter, then down to the washer. I am also going to put Rescue Rememdy in his water, spray Feliway in a few spots where he has gone to the bathroom and calming kitty treats in his dry food.
We just want him to calm down enough and gain some trust.
My cat pretty much has ptsd guys. people have told me toc atch him again and just give him to a shelter and it's like no go ******** yourself you soulless piece of s**t demonwhore.
She pretty much gave me a massive step by step process to reestablish trust with him.
My poor little cat. He's still Titan, but he is no longer Mr. Foo foo. My mom actually suggested that I change his name because that's how much of a different cat he is mentally at this point.
Is it sad that I remember the last time I held him? January 20th, a few hours before he got out. Brandon and I were in bed and titan was inbetween us and he was purring and making biscuits and being unusually clingy, even for him.
It was like foreshadowing or some s**t.
This entire ordeal has cost me over $600 so far, for the cat trap, for the specialist, for the stuff I just bought.
I...I just want him to come out. Even if he never lets me pick him up again, I just want him to have a normal life again.
