Nessiaing
Ummi was excited she and her siblings knew that they were going on their pilgramage soon. With that in mind Ummi had decided that she should explore the mountains that towered above her home. Until now she had mostly stayed away from the mountains, or at least Ummi had.

She was waiting at the base looking for her sister, barely able to keep her excitement in. It was going to be so much fun, and good practice for when they went out into the world to find their real names.

Terre was quite chipper. Normally she explored on her own, but it quite close departing, and she wanted to spend some time with parts of her family. Today she was meeting Ummi, who was waiting for her. Unfortunately, Terre was chronically late recently. It was quite frustrating, honestly. The brown lioness walked along a slope of rocks, finding her sister around the small bend that lead further up the mountain.

"Ready to go, Ummi?" She asked, cheerfully. She bounced on her toes a bit, ready to get moving.

Nessiaing
Ummi beamed when she saw Terre, mimicking the toe bounce that her sister had done. "YES! Let's go". Ummi chirped before turning to head up the slope of rocks.

"Have you been in the mountains before? How high have you gone?" She assumed her sister had gone up the mountains before. Ummi was probably one of the only ones that hadn't they had always frightened her a little. Today though she was shaking the fear from her head and she was heading up the mountian side probably a little too quickly.

Seaki
Terre had not been very high into the mountain, but she nodded. "I have, but not that far," she told her sister. "Maybe we can go even further, though!" She was excited. The brown lioness loved to explore, and now her sister was joining in. Terre was excited to start exploring outside of the pride as well. The world was bound to be exciting. She was worried, perhaps, just a little. They had been warned away from the cliffs and climbing too high when they were cubs, but they were growing - almost to their pilgrimage.

"We'll go further than any of our siblings!" She encouraged.

Nessiaing
Ummi was happy that her sister was so enthusiastic about their mission, together they would be trend setters for their siblings. The out going duo, the ones that did things first.

As Ummi was climbing she was thinking about how much she was going to brag when they got back to the den tonight. She was happy that Terre was here to validate her story. Ummi was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't hear the rocks starting roar and tumble, she never thought to look up. No the young lioness was living in a world where nothing ever went wrong.

Seaki
Terre heard the rocks start to tumble before her sister did, and she found herself backing away as she saw the rocks fall. They were her main focus as she scrambled away from the downfall of the rocks that she didn't even notice that her sister wasn't paying attention.

Once she felt safe, she looked around, assessing the damage. Only then did she realize that Ummi was not beside her. "Ummi?" She called. "Ummi!! Where are you?!"

Nessiaing
Ummi didn't hear the rocks until they were just about on her. She looked up just in time to see a rock coming for her. She tried to move but there were rocks everywhere. She let out a bit of a yelp, there was no where to go. She did the only thing she could think of doing and curled up in as tight of a ball as she could. She tried to make sure that her head was covered but it didn't do her much good.

The rocks came, she felt them hit her head and her side, one felt like it was crushing her paw. She whimpered, but then all was silent. She thought it was just silent becuase the rocks falling had been so loud, but no this silence was something more. She tried to get up but the rocks had her pinned. The best she could do was move around looking through the gaps in the rocks. She could see her sister so she called out "Terre!" it sounded wrong though, she could only hear the voice in her own head.

Seaki
Terre's dark brown ears flicked up towards the voice. "Ummi! Ummi are you okay?" She called out. Everything happened so fast, and the young lioness was panicking. Should she stay here and try to dig out her sister? Or... She should probably go to get help! Help would be a better idea. But what if Ummi was really hurt.

"Ummi, Ummi, are you gonna be okay until I can get help?" She asked, trying to push some of the smaller rocks out of the way.

Nessiaing
Ummi could see her sister more clearly now. She could see her lips moving but there was nothing absolutely nothing. Ummi didn't respond she tried to concentrate and listen but there was nothing.

"I can't hear" she shouted or at least she was pretty sure she had shouted it, it sounded loud in her own head. "Terre Terre can you hear me?" After she asked the question she realized she didn't know why she had asked it becuase she wasn't going to be able to hear the answer.

"Go get daddy, go get him fast." she said..she was pretty sure her volume was quiet now but she was getting exhausted now she didn't know what else to do. She laid her head back down not even watching to see what her sister would do next but there would be no getting her out without some more help. For now she would just have to wait in silence.

Seaki
Terre frowned, shifting from foot to foot. She nodded though. "I'll go get help!" She told her sister - or more like herself. Her sister couldn't hear. Oh no, this was all her fault. She took a deep breath, suppressing the guilt. "I'll be back fast, okay?" She turned at ran as fast as she could, seeking out her father. Ummi had to be okay! She didn't know what she would do otherwise...
