Semok ATorridLoveAffair Aww I'm so happy for you. What a cool doc. My doctor was super super cool. The place in general is awesome as well. It's a huge LGBT supporter. It's also one of the only places in the world where you can go on hormone replacement therapy without needin' to be diagnosed with a gender identity disorder. Usually, if you're transgendered, you have to meet with a therapist for sometimes years and wait until they diagnose your with GID, which then goes on your official records for life. At the place I go, they just make you quickly talk with a mental specialist, get a physical, and then sign an informed consent. I hear that it usually takes a bit longer to be approved if you're younger, but as an adult I got my first dosage of testosterone as soon as I got my blood results back, which was the next mornin'. 3nodding Yeah, you could go for years and still be denied. But I really, really happy you find somewhere cool.
