Sabra: Ever since he had lost his desert home Anai had wandered. It wasn’t as if he minded wandering either since the experience allowed him to collect new tales and wonders. Some days he would miss his family, but others he would be glad knowing that they were safe in their own new homes now. Unfortunately his paws had never found a real reason to settle down anywhere yet so here he was wandering again. The place he wandered into this time was different from any other and as the cold brushed across his fur he had to suppress a shiver.

Could a place really be so cold like this?

Anai smiled softly. Maybe he did miss the desert after all, but for now he was stuck. I wonder if the snow storm will stop yet? Frowning the lion moved his slender body tightly against the mountain path. He was fortunate to have made it so far past the iced over waters, but right now he was more lost than ever before. Just where have I ended up this time?

nessiaing: Mystral had been sticking close to the mountains, in truth the adolescent female rarely came down the montain at all. She found the few times that she had she wasn't exactly welcomed amongst most of the other pride members.

In truth it had been a pretty sad life for the young female so far, with no real friends other than her litter mates the frosty coloured lioness didn't really have much strive to do anything. Sure she was a royal princess but she was a princess of a cursed line, one that was dooming the whole pride.

Sabra: At least the storm seemed to be lifting. Sighing a breath of relief Anai focused on trying his best to stop slidding all over the place. Ice was definitely different from the rough grasses of the roguelands yet a similar feeling to how he once danced on the sands. Guess I'm just not meant to stay on stable ground. It was fun though and the more he continued he found himself turning walking into a game.

In the middle of slidding jumps however he caught some movement, "Hello?" Tail perking up behind him the lion moved forward. Could there finally be some life here to help him find his way again? Or were his eyes messing with him? Squinting into the snowy path ahead Anai tilted his head curiously. Was it a snow mirage?

nessiaing: Mysrtal had seen the blue lion with the purple mane coming from a mile away. She never imagined he would see her though, she tended to blend in with the snow and ice of the area.

As she watched him make his way towards her she muffled the occasionaly giggle, she was amazed by how much fun he appeared to be having on the ice. Most of the lions around here weren't as thrilled as he was about it, after all they had to live with it day after day with no let up.

When he spotted her Mystral froze unsure of what to do. Her instincts told to her to run and hide but what if he was lost, it would be terrible of her to turn her back on him, something her mother would certainly frown on.

"Hello" she answered back in return her voice very quiet.

Sabra: Anai was prepared to turn away and leave the image as an illusion of snow when he heard the reply. Another hello? His face lit up in a brilliant smile as he moved forward. Of course in his excitement the lion ended up slidding forward and had to tumble in order to regain his balance on the ice. Smooth move. Feeling his cheeks warm the male chuckled, "Hello there!"

He still had to squint, but now that he was closer the image of a lioness was coming out from the icy mist. She had such a quiet voice that he almost had to reach out to make sure that he had really heard her and that she was there before him. "You really are there right? Not some crazy spirit made up in my mind?" His gaze gleamed with amusement, "I still am in shock that there's actually another soul out here in this place." It was like a tale from another world with the way the winter seemed to continue around here.

Then again hadn't his old desert home felt like a world of it's own as well?

nessiaing: Mystral stepped away from the base of hte mountain a little. "I am real" she replied to him her voice still small and quiet. She was weary of the travelling stranger but at the same time she wanted to make sure he wasn't in need of aid, her mother would be forever disappointed with her if she shrank away from someone in need.

"Are you alright? Are you lost." In Mystral's mind she could never understand why someone would choose to travel to the icy place she called him, not when they had the whole world to choose from. Mystral loved her home because this was where her mother and father were, but she did have a faint wonder as to what else was out there. A world she knew she would never get to see.

Sabra: Anai had to smile lightly at her response, "You certain? I know that even mirages can be tricky with their words." His tail waved lightly behind him as he took a tentative step forward. I don't want to chase her away after all. Still his gaze was warm and burned gently through their icy surroundings, "Either way I think I'll take the risk since you seem to be a rather cute mirage."

At her question the lion nodded, 'Yes and no. I mean I didn't know where I was going, but can a wanderer ever be truly lost?" He laughed quietly before studying the area around them, "I've never been to a place like this before that's true." Pausing he trailed off to study her a bit, "What about you? Are you familiar with these parts or lost as well?" Stranger or not he wasn't going to let someone just wander by themselves out here...not if he was already here as well.

nessiaing: Mystral felt her face blush a little when the male told her that she was cute. It wasn't often around home that she was told she was beautiful beside perhaps her Mother and Father.

When the male moved towards her she felt a little nervous. He was after all older than her and a stranger, but on the same time he seemed so nice. After just a moment of thought she decided to stand her ground, even if she did run it wasn't very likely she could out run him.

"I suppose you could say I am from these parts, I am one of the Princesses of a pride in this area." she said in a matter of fact voice. "You shouldn't stay here though the pride is cursed I am cursed, really you should move on right away." she said. Her tone of voice showed that she was serious, she hated to scare someone away from the pride they needed numbers but she felt the male should have fair warning.

Sabra: Was she nervous? Anai tilted his head in curiousity before taking a step away. I don't want to run her off after all. He reminded himself quietly. He wondered what type of place she must have come from to act so quietly. Almost as if she was afraid of being attacked or something.

"A princess?" His gaze widened considerably, "What is a princess doing out alone?" He looked over her shoulder playfully, "Am I too close...will the royal guards get me?" It was half amusement, but also awe at the fact that a princess from some snowy pride was standing before him. Had he really just entered some tale now? It just seemed so unreal.

At the mention of a curse his gaze brightened. This really is becomming some sort of fantasy tale. Still he felt sad that she was cursed as well, "What sort of curse?" He questioned gently, "Cause you know I'm not that scared. Aren't curses meant to be broken anyways?" He smiled warmly, "I hear that strangers from foreign lands can always have a good chance of being helpful."

nessiaing: "No no royal gaurd I spilled away quietly." Mystral told the male when he started to suggest that he himself might be in danger. "You are quite sage, no one is going to get you."

"The curse is on the pride, it brings this snow this cold the ice all of it. They say my mother brought the curse on all of us. That her and my frosty blue pelts brought the cold in. As long as she and her decendants rule the pride will be forced to live in the cold, with limit ways to hunt, and survive." She knew that it sounded crazy but it was the truth, all be it a very strange one.

Sabra: "Oh good then." Anai let out a breath of relief before smiling once more, "Then can't you feel the same way?" His gaze gleamed warmly, "For a princess who slipped away you seem more on edge then me. Shouldn't you be enjoying the freedom?"

A curse of winter? Anai sat back to stare at the princess, "So because of your lovely coats the pride is cursed?" Actually when he thought of it the lion began to laugh. A curse becasue of a blue coat? But when he thought of his old home the lion just chuckled more, "I'm sorry. It just sounds strange since you see my coat. Wouldn't that mean I'm already cursed by your pride then? Though isn't it strange? What type of home do you think I came from?"

He paused as he stood, "I came from the opposite type of lands. A land of sand and heat." After anothe rpause he smiled, "Would you care to escort me into your pride, princess? I don't mind peeking my head into a cursed place since I'm already fitting in with the status."

nessiaing: "I suppose its not a curse because of our coats, but our coats are a reminder of the curse." yes Mystral thought that was a much better way of explaining things.

When Mystral heard mention of a desert of lands that were hot with sand she was amazed. "Why would you come here when you had the heat and sad?" to Mystral it sounded like paradise, a place where she felt warm and comfy.

"I will lead you in, but I warn you, even though you aren't of the royal family your coat may be looked down upon. Though of course I think you look quite nice." she said adding the last part as a blush rose up into her cheeks. She was had never admitted to a male that she thought he looked good, frankly she had never really thought of a male that way. In all fairness though she had only ever really been around her brothers and her dad.

"Okay well come on then, I will lead you in." She told him rising to her feat and turning to head back in the direction behind her. "Just this way." she said.
