Name: Chesed (the attribute of grace, benevolence, or compassion, especially (in Kabbalism) as one of the sephiroth.)
Temper: Resolute

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope!

Personality: Chesed is possessed of absolute surety of the tenets of the Code of Edda, particularly in foalhood when she is most impressionable. She accepts the laws and rules with absolute confidence and internalizes them. As she becomes older and is educated and encouraged to think critically she will go through a period of questioning these tenets, but will ultimately reconcile her doubts to her purpose in life.

Unlike her brothers she is fairly outgoing, willing to talk and interact with anyone who happens by. She has no shyness or fear in her, no modesty or sense of shame. As a foal this can be an unfortunate trait as she will approach any stranger and say anything that is in her mind. As an adult she is able to reign in her impulses more, though she still will speak her mind as she wills. She isn't interested in sugar-coating or dumbing-down her speech or opinions for the sake of someone else's ego. Because of this she can come off as harsh or uncaring sometimes. She's isn't too worried about this perception.

Family Relationship: As a foal she absolutely idolizes her mother, wishing fervently to follow in her hoof prints. As she grows she begins to reason out her mother's real motives and her shameful truth that she is unable to kill. With this revelation Chesed draws away from her mother, distancing herself from the potential taint within her. It's painful to her to distance herself so from her mother but she hopes that maybe one day she will find her purpose and earn her way back to Valhalla so that they might rejoin there after death. (She thinks this inability to kill will taint her mother enough not to allow her into Valhalla)

Her brother she enjoys spending time with. He may be shy and uncertain - the exact opposite of herself - but she finds him refreshing and different than the rest around her. There is something about being so opposite that attracts her to his company.

She has a vague interest in meeting her father and other brother as well.

Rank: Practitioner
Option: B
How faithful is she to the Code?: I believe it to be a sliding spectrum depending on where in life she is. As a foal she is absolutely dominated by the code in all ways. As she gets older she goes through a period of questioning it, perhaps leaving the herd for a time to "study abroad" as it were to fully understand the Code and her role in it. After some travel and soul searching and some learning she will grow aware that the Code is the only thing that is truly in tune with her heart and she will return fully.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response: She peered down at her brother, soaked and muddy well below her with a barely stifled giggle. He looked positively miserable down there and what was worse, as he tried to scale the walls he slipped back down in the wet mud. He clearly was less than amused as he pleaded with her to help he get out of there. "Alright hold on I'll find a-" she was cut off by the rustling of the bushes behind her.

She whirled around swiftly, flaring her (useless) wings out behind her to look larger than she is, gritting her teeth and preparing for a fight. She wouldn't leave Elijah here, helpless and alone. She peered into the darkness between the leaves, but could see nothing. Then the bushes rustled to her right and she whipped around, but again was met with nothing. Elijah was calling out to her from below, asking what was going on, but she tuned him out, listening to the area around her.

This time she pounced instead of merely turning in that direction, hoping against hope that whatever was moving was something she could take on. What she found surprised her - a wounded raven, flapping around and wandering, trying to find its way. She realized she had been holding her breath and tensing her muscles, both of which she let go with a diffusing laugh. "Oh my, we must get you to someone who can heal. After I get Elijah out of this hole, of course." She flashed the raven a grin, to which it merely inclined its head in acknowledgement. It followed her back to the pit where Elijah waited.

"Sorry about that. I found a new friend," she gestured to the raven. "Now hold on while I go find something to pull you out with."

It took some time, but she was able to find long enough vines and was able to secure them to a tree - with the raven's help. It hopped around the tree with the vines in its mouth so Chesed could tie them off. After a few tries they were able to help Elijah from the pit, the three of them tired, sore, and covered in mud. For a while they just lied there at the lip of the pit, panting. Then a stomach rumbled loudly and Chesed started laughing. "I guess we should go find some food, huh? And a healer for my little helper here," she nodded at the raven.

Plot Ideas:

Well first and foremost I would love to go through her and her mother's relationship. I think it would be cool is Chesed maybe goes through a period of trying to guide her mother and help her in fulfilling her Valkyrie duties. And possibly failing and having to reconcile a fractured relationship (if they choose)

Second I think part of the reason she begins to question the Code is during the expulsion of her brother. She grows fond of him in childhood and having to watch him forced to leave is unbearable, so she chooses to leave with him. This is the beginning of her soul searching journey where she questions following a code that deems her brother unworthy of being a Valkyrie.

Third, perhaps during this journey her and her brother (or her on her own) will seek out their brother and father, to see what they're like. Chesed may suggest this as a logical first step after leaving the herd, or they can decide to do this later.

More to come I'm sure as I think them through (if I win)

Name: Catiana
Temper: Cynical

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: No

Personality: Catiana is cold, dutiful and graceful. She doesn't just live by the code of Edda, she obsesses over it. She wouldn't allow herself to be seen as anything but one of the model examples of a Valkyrie.

Family Relationship: Catiana respects and in some ways, loves, her mother. She shows no emotion in the typical way. She shows her affections by being respectful and loyal to her mother and her brother. Her brother can be highly irritating and since he will not likely be seen as a proper member, she sees him as a liability that she needs to make up for. However, the only emotion she'll show will be in private towards her brother. His awkwardness is endearing and he has a way of softening her up, perhaps even making her ... gushy. However, if someone else is around, there would be zero sign of that.

She has zero interest in seeking out her father. She is grateful for his bloodline to have been blessed with her life and her brother, but she feels that she owes him nothing.

The other brother? Well, he's a male raised elsewhere, so she has no inclination to meet him. Even if they did, she'd likely deny any relations. Elijah is the only brother she has, simple as that.
Rank: Member
Option: B
How faithful is she to the Code?: She is the very example of what it's like to live by the code. She will not sway from the code, for fear of her reputation being tarnished.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response:

Catiana had watched it all happen. As usual, Elijah wildly and playfully took off in front of her. They both saw the pit just before he fell in, the mud around it proving too slippery for him. As he toppled in, she slid to a stop just in front of it. Even her even temper failed for a minute and her eyes popped open wide in disbelief. She stretched out her wings, not to try to fly, but in protest that they were too weak to fly. His would be as well.

"Elijah! You FOOL!!! I can't believe you and your awful luck! Are you alright?"

Elijah was shaken, she could tell from here, but he seemed alright. As she awaited the response, the bushes began to tremble behind Catiana. Her head snapped to the side, listening and watching. Her brother's cries for help chirping up from the pit.

"Stop, SHHHH. Elijah, shut up! Something is over here!"

He quieted a bit, but still rustled around in the pit, crying out for help.

"I will cut you if you don't shut up, Elijah!!"

She now turned, eyeing the bush closely. In front of it, the perfect branch. Long, thick and just big enough to support Elijah. It could've been her imagination, but she could've sworn a light hiss snuck out from behind the bush. The hairs along her spine bristled up and she dove forward, snatching up the branch in her mouth. She moved back towards the pit, holding the branch in defense.

The bush remained silent for a while so she spun, holding the branch down into the pit. Elijah clenched down on the other end and began walking up the steep slope out of the pit. Catiana's hooves digging in at the top, finally seeing her brother's goofy head popping up from the pit. Once he was out the bush rustled again along with the hiss.

From the bush slithered out a centipede type of insect. It slithered past them and went along it's way. Elijah followed very quietly behind Catiana, both of them exhausted and covered in mud. They returned quietly to their mother, knowing full well there would be some form of an interrogation to follow.

Plot Ideas:

1. Raised in the same boat: Catiana and Elijah share an unusual bond. He might be goofy, but he understands what drives Catiana to do what she does. He is the one male in her life that has been in her life from the very beginning. She wouldn't have it any other way, except that he wouldn't be able to be a full fledged member alongside her. It disturbs her, that she has to act differently towards him in the public eye. As they get older, how long will she able to maintain her loving relationship with Elijah before attention starts being drawn to it?

2. A gentle push: Catiana dreams of being the titled Valkyrie. However, her mother's awkward position with the herd might keep her from being raised within the herd. Will Catiana's pesky and dutiful nature give Rouxe the gentle nudge she needs to return to the herd, or will the opposite happen?

Name: Obedear Bleux
Temper: Careful

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: No

Personality:
Bleux has a natural lust for power. Not power in the sense of wanting to be a leader or a figurehead, but power over others. Her lust for power is a subconscious feeling of pleasure when she feels more powerful than others. This lust first showed when she started learning the ways of a Valkyrie. Bleux saw her responsibilities as being a type of power. She was the door into Valhalla and her word would either open that door to greet worthy Soquili into eternal fields, or close the door and deem unworthy those who are not fit to wander those fields.

Being a Valkyrie and learning the Valkyrie way was enthralling to her. Bleux’s lust was not to last though. Taint…A door can swing open and close but what good is being a door if you never get to go through that door yourself. The concept of taint is something that weighs heavily on her mind. Bleux has a strong lust for power, but an equal and opposite fear of wielding that power falsely. She is the door for those who are worthy to enter Valhalla. This duty is a great gift and she is more than honored to be that door. That duty also is a great burden. It is through the concept of taint that Bleux learned to respect all things. She has the power to relieve others into eternal happiness, but in order to give that relief she must deem them worthy. Bleux would rather kill herself than to let an unworthy soul into Valhalla. She knows that Killing herself is a most grievous of sins, but in her mind misjudging someone’s character is an equal sin.

All life is precious. All souls strive for perfection. All Soquili souls strive for Valhalla. Bleux is their door to paradise. If there is someone who strikes her as being worthy she will not let them enter until she is 100% sure that they are worthy of her killing blow. In order to determine this she must know everything about them. She will travel far and wide to speak with others who know her chosen one. She will gain references and watch the Soquili herself. Not a single thing from their lives will go unknown to her. Once she feels as if she knows her chosen fully and completely she will swing the door open wide and give them release.

Her Valkyrie duties play a large part in her life as she feels that there is nothing more important than to be that door. It is who she is, but there is also how she acts. Bleux learned from a young age that being kind and warm to others is the best way to interact. She likes to see others happy and will often try to be that happiness. Bringing people joy is another way for her to have power, for she brought that joy. It also makes others more susceptible to open up to her and thus give her the information she needs. She is not always seeking information though. She does enjoy conversing with others and finds the warmth in other’s souls refreshing.

Family Relationship:
Bleux believes that if she is to be the judge of others she must first know herself. She will not let a soul into Valhalla if she does not know everything about them, so it makes sense for her to want to know everything about herself. In order for her to know herself she must understand where she comes from. Bleux has a very strong respect for her mother and looks to her as a strong role model. The only thing that she would ever feel badly towards her mother about would be Rouxe’s decision not to kill. She respects her mother’s decision but can’t help but feel that it is slightly selfish.

Elijah can do no wrong in Bleux’s eyes. He is innocent and free. Bleux loves to spend time with him and distract herself from her duties. When she is with him she can forget the burdens that she carries and just be free together. She will always love him, protect him, and be there for him.

Bleux will eventually seek out her Father and Dumah. This will happen after she realizes that she must come to know everything about herself. She will want to get to know them and learn who they are and try and see their similarities and differences to her own life and personality. She will eventually learn that her drive to seek out/stalk her chosen comes a lot from her Father’s own hunting drive. The more you know about yourself the more you can use to obtain your goals.

Rank: Member
Option: B
How faithful is she to the Code?:
Bleux is an orthodox practitioner of the code. She follows every word and every law to perfection. She feels that her duty is a great responsibility and wishes to seek out those who are worthy. She feels that if a Valkyrie doesn’t do their part then the fields of Valhalla will be empty. She enjoys the company and companionship of others and feels that Valhalla would not be paradise if it were empty.

Prompt Number: 3
Prompt Response:
Bleux could feel her throat tightening and fresh tears building in her eyes. She was standing at a small looking pool at the edge of the plains. Its clam waters made for a perfect way to view ones self. As she stared at her reflection she choked back the tears. She was soaking wet and her lip trembled as the water dripped off her nose. The reflection, in the pond, that was looking back at her showed her wet coat, her building tears, and her bright pink mane.

Her mane was pink due to a mishap in the crafting area, but it was not the cause of her tears. Something as silly as accidentally dying her mane pink would not ruffle her feathers, in fact it had been pink for a few hours now. Her tears were in-fact due to the dead ferret at her feet. It was an accident and she had not meant to kill it. She had been practicing her flying and just happened to land on it in a spectacular dive out of the sky. It was now smooshed. The worst part was that she had felt its little bones snap and heard it squeak its last squeak. Just thinking about it made her choke up.

Bleux was looking into the pond to make sure that she had washed all of the blood off of herself. She then took a step back and glanced at the broken ferret. She simply could not hold it in anymore and the tears burst. They were hot and thick as they rolled down her face and onto the dead body. Her mixed feelings of shame and fear caused the uncontrollable sobbing to continue long enough for her mother to hear.

Rouxe came flying over as soon as she heard her daughters anguish. The foal’s wailing made her think that Bleux was terribly hurt. She was confused when she arrived to find Bleux crying over the body of a dead ferret.

Rouxe came up beside her and nudged the sobbing foal. “Bleux what is the matter?”

Bleux looked up at her mother and felt a sense of hopelessness. She could not maintain the gaze and looked away in shame. It took her a few moments to calm herself down and stop the tears enough to answer her mother.

“I…Im tainted.” Bleux started to cry again.

Rouxe looked to the ferret and then back to Bleux and started to put two and two together. Bleux had not yet learned that only Soquili can go to Valhalla and the poor little foal was thinking that she had sent up the unworthy soul of a ferret. Rouxe waited calmly for her daughter to calm down.

“Bleux, do not worry. You have yet to learn this, but I will tell you now. Only Soquili souls can go to Valhalla. Animals do not go even if killed by the Valkyrie,” Rouxe said.

Bleux listened to her mother’s words and started to clam down again. She looked at the Ferret and sniffled down the last of the tears. She looked at Rouxe and said, “You mean I’m not tainted?”

Rouxe nodded, “No, you are fine.”

Bleux smiled and felt an overwhelming sense of relief. Ever since she had started her training she was terrified of killing someone she did not mean to send to Valhalla and of course this would happen only a day or two after her first lessons. It was a relief to know that she was still clean. She nodded and smiled at her mother, “Ok, I guess I will learn more about it later, but thank you!” Obviously she was not so concerned about the dead ferret and rather more worried about her own soul.

With her wing Rouxe motioned back to the herd and said, “Come on, lets go back and find your brother…also, why is your mane pink?”

Bleux sniffed away the last of her tears and giggled. She started prancing back to the herd, her little accident with the ferret already out of mind. As she pranced past her mother she looked over her shoulder and said, “Elijah said it would look cool. Just wait till you see what color his mane is!” and then dashed off happy as could be.

Plot Ideas:
- Code of Edda: Bleux’s personality and faithfulness to the code does not change whether she is raised by her mother or by the herd. If she ends up being raised by her mother she will eventually seek out the herd as a holy pilgrimage. She will want to pay homage to Edda and to live the code with those who also believe it.
- Oh brother of mine: Bleux will spend all of her free time with her brother. I would like them to have a close bond that she can lean on when she is feeling overwhelmed or burdened.
- Family history: She will seek out her Father and brother to better know herself. She may even seek out extended family if she still feels that she does not know herself enough.
- My herd my Home: once she knows herself she will return to the herd and spend some time there to strengthen her understanding of the duties of being a Valkyrie.
- To find a Chosen: It is time for her to seek out a chosen. Bleux leaves the herd and ventures into the world to start her life as a Valkyrie. She will feel a growing sense of disappointment at the inhabitants of the soquili lands for not many of them seem worthy.
- Valkyrie for life: She was young and over-zealous. Of course she would not find a worthy chosen to send to Valhalla at the first meeting. She was just anxious to use her power, but would never misuse it. Bleux she would learn patience and vigilance. She starts to more seriously seek out a chosen and realizes that this is a lifetime gig. She has her entire life to dedicate and she feels less stressed. After all it’s about Quality, not Quantity.
- A chosen One: She finds a few who seem promising and starts to investigate their lives. She meets with their family members and friends. She follows them and tries to befriend them. Are they worthy to enter Valhalla?
- Carry on the Code: Bleux will only mate with those who promise strong genes and a good family line. She will seek out those who are willing to either give her the kids to raise with the herd, or those who are faithful to the code themselves.
- You have been Chosen: I would love to find someone who is worthy and have her actually preform a righteous killing. In the case that a candidate is not found I would like to use a NPC and self RP at least one of her rituals.

Name: Oksana (meaning praise to god)
Temper: Driven

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope~

Personality: Oksana is quite offbeat and at times has a bit of a split personality. One minute she's her quiet cheerful self, then all of a sudden a vehement desire to harm will plague her mind. But it doesn't happen out of the blue, it needs to be triggered. Often it's caused by severe amount of stress. These emotions would not be tolerated and so far the only Valk or any other creature that has seen this side has been her Mother, Rouxe. Oksana wants so hard never to show this side to her younger Brother. Worrying that Elijah would fear and avoid her. The one thing she wishes is to get stronger and curve this ever scourging aspiration.

Family Relationship: Rouxe, a Valk of pride and headstrong decisions, leaving her herd because she is unable to kill. Never wanting to displease her Mother, Oksana trains her body and practices her attack formations alone at times, her Brother watching her in awe. A precious innocent baby Brother one that needs protecting while there both alone in the herd. Although safe within with young foals and grown mares surrounding them; it's best never to keep your guard down. Oksana does not condemn her Mother for leaving her in the herd but wishes Rouxe would visit them once in awhile.

Rank: Member
Option: B
How faithful is she to the Code?: Immensely, Oksana shall make her Mother proud by fulfilling her duties as a full grown Valkyrie. Nothing shall cloud her judgment for the lives of those who shall go to Valhalla. Never shall she be insecure of a kill. Being tainted is not an option. If ever chosen to lead as Edda, Oksana shall dismiss all that she is to claim her highest title.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response: While out on a rare visit with there Mother, Rouxe, Oksana and Elijah had fought about why his younger Brother was not able to possess the vision only females may acquire; responsibility of judgment. Frustrated and confused Elijah had fled away from sight hiding his pain as to not be pitied upon. Sighing deeply to calm her nerves Oksana ran after him without her Mother watching. Now in dismay Elijah was not sensing where he was going and fell into a gaping hole in the ground. Without the use of his wings and not able to get a decent footing, Elijah was stuck.

Oksana thought she had seen movement up ahead but then the figure vanished causing confusion. But then a sudden cry for help rang into her ears.
"Mother! Sister! Please hear me!" sounding like Elijah, Oksana bolted toward the cries.
Not too far ahead she caught up to him only to quickly jolt back looking down into the cavernous pit at her Brother. Eyes wide and nothing but a short gasp of air left Oksana's mouth. Shaking her head with another sigh she looked down gently at her Brother hoping he wasn't still upset with her.
"Elijah don't worry I'll get something to pull you out!" Oksana shouted out.
Elijah was quiet but he nodded his head slowly as to signal he heard his Sister, stomping in the muddy pit trying to hold balance.

Slight panic struck Oksana's heart figuring out now that she has to do something quick but nothing in the surrounding area was a good enough tool. Not with the herd, out with her Mother but she was left behind. Her stress level was peaking. Ear suddenly twitching Oksana turned her head to look at a nearby bush and thought it had shook. Going back to finding something to use as a tool ignoring the sound. Perhaps it was just wind. But then fur of a dark color was peeking out atop the bush. Sweet Edda! Something was stalking the siblings and now this creature is only a few feet away from the hole. Wings flapping and tail swishing erratically Oksana tried to look intimidating the best she could. Without a weapon or armor she was defenseless.

Whatever it was the shadow in the bushes was starting to wander toward Oksana's precious little Brother. Elijah was completely oblivious only hearing loud sounds from above ears perked down and eyes wide with panic hoping his Sister was alright.
"Whoever you are leave us alone or I wont be so merciful!" roared Oksana.
Holding her breath she charged at the unknown creature and and jumped them to the ground. A small barking sound was heard from beneath her. The creature was smaller then she thought. False alarm, but then it was wiggling to get free.
"Wait a minute...Weed!?! What are you doing here?" Oksana exclaimed.
It was Rouxe's familiar growling slightly from being trampled. No wonder Weed did not reply, most of the time he does not speak. He was looking for the missing children after Oksana had ran after Elijah.
"Weed I'm so sorry but will you please find my Mother? Elijah needs help out of the pit." eyes filled with regret as she pleads for him to go look for Rouxe.
With a short huff the fox fled back into the bushes hopefully headed back to there Mother.

Looking down from the pit Oksana smiled at her baby Brother.
"It's gonna be ok Elijah, Weed is going to get Mother!" shouting down to him.
Looking up Elijah looked sad and very worried but jumped when seeing his Sister.
"Sister I'm so sorry! Please hurry." he cried out in a low tone.
"Your forgiven, now perk up Mom's gonna get here soon." smirking down at him.

Plot Ideas:
-My Father?: Her curiosity must be cleansed, some occurrence of how they actually meet would be exciting. Would Zamiel recognize his own blood children? How does he feel about his Daughter?

-My place in the herd: Her training to become a strong member of the herd and knowing that she must not harm other Vakyrie. Someone in the herd might want a challenge?

-A Mother's love: One on one with her Mother on a more casual level instead of formal. Having to be on her best behavior all the times holds in alot of emotions as a young mare.

-Sibling rivals?: If both her Brothers ever meet will they get along alright? If not how is she to make peace between them?

Name: Adla
Temper: Unbiased

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope

Personality: Adla is unwaveringly fair and just. She never lets her personal opinions cloud her judgment, willing to admit if only to herself that just because she feels a certain way that makes it so. Because of this, she feels that actions speak louder than words, and the motive behind those actions even louder still, and she believes in redemption… to an extent.
Family Relationship: She admires her mother a great deal, and is somewhat protective over her brother. When she’s old enough to travel on her own, she’ll seek out her father and other brother to try and form a bond with them. Family will be important to her.

Rank: Practitioner
Option: A. She will likely try to seek out the herd when she’s a little older, but I think, if her mother went into self exile because of her unicorn blood, it makes sense that she wouldn’t return to the herd until she’s certain her children wouldn’t suffer the same affliction. That being said, I’d happily play out option B if my reasoning is wrong X-D
How faithful is she to the Code?: Very. She has an odd way of going about it. As stated before, she believes in redemption, that a soq who would not normally deserve Valhalla can, through the course of his life and actions, become worthy. Not everyone can achieve this, but she will, in some cases, take it upon herself to try and help those who are seeking to better themselves. And, of course, in the rare instances where they should succeed, she is always happy to send them on to their reward before they have a chance to muck things up again. Her standards are extremely exacting, however, so it’s unlikely that she’ll find many who achieve the level of redemption she feels is necessary.

Prompt Number: 3
Prompt Response:
Adla was playing quietly by herself while her mother and brother were off doing... something else. She hadn't really been paying attention, her mind wandering at the time. Now she was quite content to practice her stalking skills on an unsuspecting berry bush. At least, she was content until a large, black form emerged from the very batch of bushes she had been "hunting." With a rather undignified squeak, she stumbled back and landed in an ungainly heap. Her face burned with embarrassment at her less than graceful display and she scrambled to right herself, trying to affect an air of intent. She totally meant to do that.

Amaya paused as the young filly tried to gather her dignity about her, all the while trying not to laugh aloud. As it was, her eyes danced merrily and her lips twitched with a suppressed smile. Amaya did love a good laugh, as much as she enjoyed pranks, and she had a feeling this little filly was about to give her an opportunity at both.Once the foal was standing again, she asked, with false concern, "Are you okay?"

Adla bristled at the perceived insult. "Of course!" she scoffed, tossing her head a bit. "I knew you were there. Who could miss a pink that vibrant?" As the question came out, Adla forgot about her embarrassment, her attention caught by the very shade she had been trying to insult. "It's very pretty," she finished, with a touch of envy. Her own mane wasn't as pretty or eye catching. That was good, she supposed. Even with her dark coat, the stranger wasn't going to be able to stalk very well with that bright mane and tail.

"Thank you," Amaya said with a slight smile. She could see the envy in the foal's eyes and seized upon the opportunity for what, in her mind, was sure to be a fun and harmless prank. "you'd look good with a pink mane, too, I think."

"Really?" Adla asked, halfheartedly. After all, what did it matter how she would look if she had been born differently. She was what she was, and nothing could change that. It was both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because she was proud of her heritage, and no one and nothing could take that from her. Curse because... well, she did so like pink...

"Have you ever thought of dyeing your mane?" Amaya asked. When the foal only stared blankly at her, she added, "Temporarily changed your mane color?"

Adla's eyes widened with amazement."You can do that?" she asked, awed.

Amaya did laugh this time, within minutes, she had crushed berries from the very bush Adla had previously been stalking. An hour later, she was watching a filly admire her now hot pink mane.

Adla preened a bit, feeling pleasantly silly and pretty all at the same time. During the whole process, she had asked and reconfirmed that the color would wash out. Now, she took in her fill, knowing that it'd be a long time before she could try something so frivolous. Finally, when she realized her mother and brother would be back soon, she dunked her head into the river to rinse the color out.

Seeing what the filly was doing, and knowing what would happen next, Amaya scampered off cackling. She had told the foal the truth. The color would wash out. Eventually.

When Adla raised her head and saw her reflection as pink as ever, the little filly panicked. She turned to demand answers from the mare, she fully understood that she had been tricked. Anger warred with despair, and in the end practicality tamped down both emotions. Mama and Elijah would be back soon. She tried everything she could think of to wash the color out of her hair, to no avail, then turned her attention to excuses. Mama would be furious, she was certain, in that way all foals were certain that the tiniest things were absolutely life threatening. She came up with a story of a daring battle. Then discarded it as ridiculous. She thought of a tale of a brutal attack, which she also discarded. When she heard the familiar hoofsteps of her mother and brother, she was no closer to a solution. She considered hiding, but dismissed that idea as quickly as she thought it. Her pride wouldn't allow her to hide from her mistakes. Or lie about them, she realized.

With her head raised high, she knew what she had to do. She would tell her mother the truth, sparing herself no details. She'd take whatever punishment her mother deemed necessary without complaint. And when Elijah laughed at her, as she was certain he would... Well, she was willing to take her punishment from their mother, not him. There was always a mud pit handy for annoying brothers.

Plot Ideas:
Family Bonds – Regardless of whether she’s raised by a single mother or a herd, family will be important to Adla. I’d like to play with her striking out and meeting her father and other brother, and learning more about that side of the family. If she’s raised by her mother only, she’ll also make a point of working her way into the herd… or at least meeting them.

No Good Deed – Given her belief that one can earn Valhalla through redemption, I’d like to see her come across someone actively trying to make up for some past sin. She would try to help, and when it seemed successful (if they succeed) she’d do what would be natural to her. She’d try to send them to Vahalla… and be so confused when they didn’t appreciate her attempts.

Name: Artemia
Temper: Perseverant

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: No

Personality:

History is written by the victors, so often worthy songs are left unsung if they’re of a defeated camp. Artemia recognizes the virtues of those that have fallen in pursuit of a righteous cause and searches the bloody battle fields for the near dying who have not yet joined the spirits of the other world. If she deems the warrior or that warrior’s cause of merit she will swiftly send them on to Valhalla so that their efforts, though thwarted in the mortal realm, may be rewarded in the world beyond. Even if she doesn’t realize it, in her own way, Artemia is paying homage to the great Valkyries that came before her - granting a quick death on the battlefield to her fallen heroes.

This perspective did not come about through an upbringing where Artemia was the strongest, fastest, or smartest - instead it hinges on her perseverance and strong determination to complete her objectives despite the costs. That said, it is a fair measure to say Artemia is stubborn to a point where it may occasional be her undoing. However she loves her family and would relent her pursuits upon their request, most of the time.

Aside from her stubborn streak, Artemia is an insightful soul. Often looking at the big picture when presented with a situation and taking her time to measure out her responses to various situations. She has some insecurities that she tries desperately to cover up, and she hates being wrong and will take extra precautions to ensure that she had made a wise choice before acting. She moves with a cool and steady confidence, not one to rush, she trusts that she will be in the right place at the right time when the moment comes. She is a spiritual creature and looks for signs

Family Relationship: (What is her relationship with her mother and youngest brother? Does she hope or intend to visit her father or middle brother?)

She honors her mother and looks after her little bother with fondness. As she learns the Code she is both disappointed that her mother can not fulfill her duties as a valkyrie and also feels sorrow for her and her need to leave the herd she often speaks of. As for her little brother, she takes on an early responsibility of looking out for him and their interactions help build the foundations for Artemia’s insight that the strongest and smartest are not necessarily the ‘best’ souls in the world.

As she grows older, Artemia becomes more and more curious about her missing family members. She knows that she has a father and another bother out there and slowly an urge grows within her to seek them out, for better or worse. With Artemia’s determination, finding them is an eventuality - but their acceptance of her and the Code she follows is something else entirely.

Rank: Practitioner

Option: I like option A because it will help Artemia build up her own self-dependence with her mother (I understand that is encouraged within the herd as well, however an upbringing with only a few direct family members lacks the community found in the herd and will help Artemia flourish as an independent thinker and after - which is important for her character).

How faithful is she to the Code?: Very, she honors the code in her choices of who to send on to Valhalla, trying especially hard to give recognition to those who in the judgement of others may be unworthy because they lost a battle. In Artemia’s eyes, the perseverance required to continue fighting a losing battle, even to continue although you know there is no hope, speaks of only the greatest and most worthy of warriors.

Prompt Number: 3
Prompt Response:

“That…is not quite what I had in mind,” Artemia muttered to herself as she stared at her reflection in the still waters of the pond. The flower petals she had mashed up were blood red and she was convinced that using them to dye her hair would give her appearance a certain regal, edginess befitting a warrior prepared to battle. She was supposed to start the next level of her training where she would actually learn to fight and eventually kill (giving her a break from her constant attempts at healing which were still going no where no matter how hard she tried). Yet instead of scarlet locks that would inspire awe in all that she met, she now had this billowing and in some places spiky mane of PINK, and not just pale, sun setting pink but PINK. She honestly wasn’t sure if there was anything in the natural world that would match this shade of not nearly dark enough red. “This is truly outrageous,” she said still gazing transfixed at her image in the pond.

She blinked and jerked her head up as she heard hoof steps approaching. Considering that she and her family hadn’t seen a soul around for a few days and they were relatively isolated, that meant the steps belonged to either her mother or her little brother. “Please let it be Elijah…” she whispered under her breath.

As her mother emerged near the water, Artemia remembered why she didn’t have a lot of faith in luck. And that she also didn’t have another look because her mother was now staring right at her. “Artemia,” Rouxe stated her daughter’s name softly, her emotions indiscernible through her tone. “Your hair is pink.”

The young valkyrie straightened up, her shoulders back and her head held high. “Yes, it is pink,” she agreed trying to buy time to formulate the rest of a response that would not make her look like a little fool who had attempted to dye her hair and had failed miserably at it. “You see, um, I was….working on my active camouflage,” she said quickly.

“Camouflage,” her mother repeated studying her with unwavering eyes.

“Yes,” Artemia said firmly. “Camouflage, because you were saying the other day how important it is for a valkyrie to swiftly send a hero on to Valhalla, that in the best cases they do not even see us until we have already sent them on their way, right?” She added a modest smile to the end of her statement, hoping to somewhat sway her mother.

“We were speaking of the importance of dealing your killing blow quickly,” the mare acknowledged. “Camouflage would in some cases aid in that matter…” her tone did show this time that she awaited some further explanation.
“Well…” Artemia was starting to struggle. She did not like being untruthful, especially with family members, but she had great fear if her blunder came out she could well die of shame on the spot. She didn’t think those that died of shame would be admitted into Valhalla’s ethereal halls. “Um, if I were to find myself in a field of brilliant flowers and sought out my warrior there, then perhaps such a color would help me blend in?” It was a weak explanation, flimsy to the core. But she was as inexperienced in lying as she was in dying her hair and consequently did neither well. She waited and waited for her mother’s response, as usual finding herself unable to discern anything from the mare’s countenance.

“I suppose,” Rouxe said slowly, drawing out her words. “In such a case, blending in with the local flora could be advantageous in your efforts. Although, if you would have my opinion, I think you were granted many gifts upon your birth that will enable you to live your life by the Code and that you do not need to seek such ways to ‘improve’ yourself. But it is, as always, your decision.” With that the mare bend her head to drink deep from the lake and left her daughter sanding on the shore wearing a perplexed look under a mane of brilliant pink.

Rouxe may or may not have realized it that day, but she granted her daughter a great mercy by not pointing out her mistakes. She also did more in a few moments than could have been accomplished in a year to help her daughter come to terms with making the wrong choice. Although the young valkyrie still dreaded making a mistake, she was able to accept her error that one time because her mother did not make her feel small for it and allowed her to find her own path, even if it might not have been the intended one.

Plot Ideas:

~ As Artemia comes of age and desires to fully embrace and understand the Code to the best of her ability, she will want to travel to the herd to learn form those she considers the masters of the art. Once with the herd she would long to glean as much information as possible about their rites and traditions as she attempts to establish her own place as a Valkyrie. However once in the company of other Valkyries, it’s possible that Artemia’s view of who is worthy may conflict with others.

~ Artemia trains with her mother to learn the healing arts, knowing she will need them eventually as she follows the Code. However, Artemia is not very good at healing which is a great complication…

~ Artemia must learn to use her natural features in order to dispatch warriors to Valhalla in a swift and graceful manner without any undue stress upon her chosen few (an unclean death is a sin upon her soul for her warriors have already suffered a defeat, it would be a mockery for her to prolong their suffering in anyway when all she yearns to do is reward them for their heroism). However her mother, her dearest teacher, is not the best person to help her learn how to bring about a sudden and swift death. She needs to see out other tutors in this critical area, but is uncertain of how to go about such a task (she has already learned many outsiders do not understand the good that she strives to do though her work and instead they respond to her with violence and aggression) - this at could lead her back to the herd or into the clutches of some very unscrupulous characters.

~ Finding herself old enough and capable enough to set out on her own, Artemia decides she wants to know her family better. She would start by seeking out her other brother (if only to see if he is as clumsy as Elijah).

~ As a trained Valkyrie, Artemia walks the lands seeking out the rancid smell of battle. It is only amongst the defeated that she seeks out her champions, those who could well be overlooked by others - ignored for the great sin of losing their wars. But Artemia sees beyond simple wins and losses, she sees those who have fought valiantly throughout the campaign, who refused to leave the field of battle even when certain death loomed before them. Those were the souls that she seeks, although sometimes she must do battle with one of their aggressors to ensure that her champions will be granted entrance to Valhalla. After eliminating those that would stand in her way, Artemis always feels something almost akin to sadness at the way her champion’s eyes widen as she sends them on their way. She only wished they understood how much she admires them and that this was the greatest tribute she could offer them.

~ Artemia does not regret sending a dear friend to Valhalla. Her companion had proven herself worthy again and again. But, Artemia does find herself missing that soul. She begins to realize the full weight of what she must do to honor the Code, how it means that she is left in a world lacking those who are the most worthy of all. Somehow she must come to terms with that.

Name: Therasia
Temper: Concealed

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope!

Personality: As a young filly Therasia will have little in the way of an outward personality. She will seek to emulate her mother, and as an impressionable youth, will fall in line with her studies as expected of her. At this moment in her life the confident air expected of her will not be visible; Therasia will duck her head when looking directly at another, and will be the last to speak up. Her obvious failures in the healing arts will leave her with much self-doubt that will lead to questioning. This will cause her to close herself off from social bonding as she struggles to push through these fears and find ground as a Valkyrie.
When she reaches her young adult years Therasia will have finally blossomed. She is frank in her speak, but politely respectful, if not a little charming. There is a confidence in her manner that was not there before. She has become an analytical mind whose true colors show through her militaristic strategies. Therasia is a firm believer in the belief that a method is only good if there is not a faster and more effective way to do it.
However, there is a side to Therasia that directly influenced her inattentiveness in her youthful studies. Her greatest, if only, shame has been her impulsive nature. Because she prefers to toe the line, in moments of rest Therasia is victim to a restless spirit and may turn her attentions to less than appropriate things (such as hunting for fun, racing, etc.)
Family Relationship: Therasia has always and will always put her mother on a pedestal. Her self-imposed exile is the ultimate sacrifice in Therasia’s eyes, and her mother’s greatest strength. She respects the mare for her acknowledgement of her failings rather than hiding her set back. Still, this does not mean that she will grow to be affectionate with Rouxe. She will love her as a daughter will love her mother, but whatever familial affections she has will be reserved for Elijah.
In her youth she will share Elijah’s timid nature, so there will be a bond, but as she ages her feelings will turn to pity for her brother. He carries in him the valkyrian bloodline, but as he is male she is dismissive of him in a way. This is because that while she has no doubt what life holds for her, she is unsure what it will make of him. Thera will seek to stay close to him for as long as she can, teaching and learning from him along the way, until she is old enough to see her independence flourish.
Therasia will not seek out her father, or her middle brother. If she were to come across them she would not be objected to speaking with them, but as they were not an integral part of her life thus far she feels that the connection is unnecessary.
Rank: Defector
Option: A
How faithful is she to the Code?: Because of the love she bears for Elijah, Therasia cannot follow the code as closely as she would like. In her eyes males should be allowed to at least prove themselves before Edda to gain valkyrian status. Surely there must be some males born within the herd that are just as capable of sending the virtuous to Valhalla. This will cause her to drop from a Practitioner’s rank to Defector; while she herself will live and die by the code, she would not deny her sons the opportunity.
Prompt Number: 3
Prompt Response: (Written in the pov of a slightly older filly Therasia)
Therasia’s studies in healing had been a failure yet again. It was as if every time she tried her eyes would find something more appealing and whatever she had been focusing on would fall to the wayside. Her tutors were patient and dutiful; something that the young girl admired. She doubted she would have had the patience, but that would come in time, as she had been told many times before.
When she had been released Therasia had ventured off on her own for some leisure time. Her brother was nowhere in sight, so sharing her bumbling day was out of the question and she knew her mother to be gone for a while. Should I practice more? It couldn’t hurt to devote more time to her lessons, even if she was giving it…mostly her all, but then her eyes found it.
In the beginning her idea had been grand. She would color her hair pink using cloth dye and then find Elijah so she could coax him into doing the same. At first it had been the most beautiful thing she had seen. It was a choppy job, which left much of her natural color to shine through, but the exterior was mostly pink. After wandering she found herself without a brother in sight…and the sun lowering in the sky.
Therasia steeled herself and took in a deep breath. There was no use panicking; if her mother found her then she would simply find her, but even thinking logically the filly’s heart beat a tattoo in her chest. What would she say? Therasia searched until she came across a little stream, and try as she might, the dye would simply not leave her hair. Scrub, scrub, scrub…still pink!
Think, think, think.. She had gotten into this mess by dying her hair…well, she could just dye it again, couldn’t she? Perking up considerably, Therasia made her way back to the cloth dyes. She scanned over the available colors, looking for something close enough to her natural color that it could fool her mother.
What she found was such a dye, and when applied it covered up the atrocious pink. Or so Therasia thought. In the dimming light what the filly saw in the stream was a nearly perfect job with only a few pink strands mixed in, but in reality it was a good deal lighter than her natural hair…and blue.
Shew! Mission accomplished.
Plot Ideas:
-Because of Therasia’s struggles to learn basic healing as a filly she will take a keen interest in sharing her methods with other young ones so that they will not doubt themselves as she did.
- I would see Therasia tainted. Because of her impulsive nature and guilty nature, she will be more susceptible to the taint. I am note entirely sure yet how I want this to go, as it would happen after she’s gained some years on her.
-I’m not sure what you have planned for Elijah, but I would like to explore the relationship between the two. Obviously when she is more connected to the herd and the code Therasia will not spend as much time around him. As she falters she will seek him out, and will seek to see the code live on in him as it does in her. In her own meditations she would consider him a Valkyrie himself, whether or not her chose to live by the code himself, much the same as if he had been born a girl.
-Her first breeding (woah, talk about a long time from now!) would be contested as well – this concept is too amazing not to spread the love.

Temper: Calming

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: No

Personality: じょうくう has a calming nature in which she can put those around her at ease. This is something that might come in handy as her mother is a Valkyrie and she was raised as one or at least in the same way one would be raised. It is her wish do please her mother as she will do anything she can in order to make sure her mother is proud and happy. After all she is a real mommy's girl.
Family Relationship: She loves her mother very much as wall as her brother. In the case of her father and other brother she goes to see them when she finds the time to do so.

Rank: Practitioner
Option: A
How faithful is she to the Code?: She tries to follow the code as much as she can. It is something that she will pass onto her kids in the future or what she plans on doing. More in honor of her mother when anything else. But she also believes that one should follow their heart as well.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response:
じょうくう tries to calm her brother as much as she can while scanning the area quickly in order to find something that will be of help. Leaving her brother like this is out of the question. Listening to the plant rustle ominously behind her makes her a bit jumpy but she also has to remain calm or things might just get worse. Seeing that on the other side of the pit is a long and sturdy vine she can't move fast enough to get to it. Pulling it as hard as she can so that it will reach her brother じょうくう steps on it. "Hurry and bite onto this as hard as you can." Once her brother takes a bite, she does the same.

Slowly she starts to pull the vine to help him out of the pit. She must remain calm in order to keep her brother in the same state of mind. Relaxed even at times like this keep things from getting out of hand and becoming far worse then when they started. The mud makes it hard that she feels like screaming but after awhile she gets her brother to the top and out of the pit. While her mind is steady and at ease she nudges him to follow her. The plants still rustling as she and her brother head to where their mother is normally at in order to be safe. But じょうくう's main focus is to keep everything calm and collective so nothing else goes wrong.

Plot Ideas:
♥ Time to visit Father.
---- I wish for her to visit her and other brother so that she can learn and grow from what they might be able to teach her.
♥ Tough lesson from Mother.
---- I would love for her to end up having a lesson from her mother that ends up being a one where tough love is in order.
♥ Finding a place to stand.
---- This is where she is an adult and looking for a place that she belongs. Somewhere she feels free and happy. Even if it is traveling all the time or just staying with her mother.

Name: Titanya
Temper: Ardent

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope! :3

Personality: Warm of heart and passionate about family bonds, Titanya is somewhat of a black sheep in her family. She does not have a hunter's mind nor one focused simply on isolation. She is sociable and wants to form strong bonds with other Soquili, but her family will always come first.
She has a small interest in traveling and learning more about the world, but until she can ensure the happiness and safety of her mother and of Elijah, she won't pursue any other life away from them.
Family Relationship: Titanya is faithful to one group above the others: her family. Naturally compassionate and full of love for her mother and brother, Titanya desires nothing more than to see her family happy. Especially protective of her clumsy little brother, she will go to great lengths to ensure his safety before hers.
She admires her mother for her ability to live without the Code that she had been raised with, but doesn't understand why such a thing is still important to her even after she left her herd. Titanya herself didn't desire to learn of a Code that romanticized death over life, as she fancies living very much, but there are certain aspects that the filly acknowledged that would be useful to learn from it. For example, learning how to fight and how to kill (or how not to, rather) would better help her learn how to protect Elijah.
Rank: Defector
Option: A
How faithful is she to the Code?: The only reason that Titanya learned the Code was because of two reasons: the first being that it was important to her mother for both of her foals to learn the Code Rouxe had been raised by, and the second being that some aspects of the Code (such as being taught how to utilize your physical strengths to kill [or not to kill]) would surely be useful in the future.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response: She was supposed to be watching him. It was her job, her responsibility, however self-announced it may've been. She was to always be by his side, to make sure her shy baby of a brother didn't wander off and get himself in trouble.

So, of course, the one time she looks away, Elijah went missing.

It had been just after Rouxe had been telling them about one of the essential lessons of The Code. While fighting and learning to kill were important, her mother stressed the importance of knowing first-aid and insisting that it was just as important as battle training was. Titanya had listened closely, thinking that surely with her clumsy brother falling over logs or into ditches so often, that knowing basic healing would certainly come in handy for the future.

She had even stayed by behind with her mother after a bit, to go over what to do in the case of a sprain, when her brother suddenly up and vanished. Before Rouxe could tell her much of anything, Titanya was off on the hunt. She looked around corners, behind trees, and even under a rock, but Titanya was simply having no luck in finding him. That was, until she heard him calling a few feet away... or was it a few feet below her?

Behind two large bushes, there was a large whole, at least as tall as her father had been, last she'd seen him.
"Oh, Elijah..." Titanya said, carefully treading along the edge of the hole, mindful not to slip in herself. "Couldn't you have waited for me, if only for a little while?" Her brother responded in a series of soft mumbling, seeming too embarrassed to actually form words. The filly above him sighed, "Well, you're not hurt, are you?" A shake of his head. Good, then she wouldn't be needing her first-aid skills just yet, it seemed. "Okay, good. I'll be right back. I'm sure I can find a branch or a vine or something for you to hold onto--Wait! What's that sound?"

There was a rustling in the bushes just near the hole and Titanya skittered back. She let out a surprised squeal as one of her hooves slid off the solid ground and into the whole, but she snatched it back before she could wobble off into the edge. Her wings flared out on either side of her as she attempted to make herself larger: It was an intimidation tactic her mother had taught them, but she didn't feel very scary right now.

"Get outta here, creature!" Her voice was shrill, but it was loud, "Get outta here, or I'll eat you for breakfast!" She hoped that sounded scary enough, but the rustling continued and she could see a snout appearing between the bushes and so she flung herself forward--BONK!!

"Oh!" Titanya's nose had collided with Weed's muzzle, though the fox familiar merely looked amused. He turned around and gave a single loud yap and then, there stood her mother. "Hullo, Mother." She greeted Rouxe, her head drooping a little. She had been hoping to rescue her brother on her own and impress Rouxe with her skill and bravery, but it seemed as though today was not a day for heroics, at least, not on Titanya's part.

It didn't take long for Rouxe to rescue her son from the hole and it was certainly done a lot more skillfully than Titanya could've done it. Well, no matter, the point was that Elijah was safe and that's all that mattered now.
"I'm gonna keep an extra good watch on you now Elijah!" She warned her brother, "No more falling holes, you hear me? I'll be watching you from now until forever, that's what you're in for, I can promise you that!"

Plot Ideas: Over-Protective Sister - Elijah's protection and happiness will always be what comes first in Titanya's mind. She'll always be looking out for him from foalhood to adulthood. Mostly a brother/sister plot, though depending on the different opinions they get from others, this relationship may change. Ex. - Elijah may not want to be treated like a baby when he's older, or Titanya may get an offer to travel with a great band of Soquili.

The Code of Who-Cares? - Titanya learned it because some aspects of it, the fighting and healing for example, would surely come in handy for when she was looking out for Elijah, but when you came down to it... Titanya just doesn't care about the Code of Edda! This may cause a rift between Titanya and Rouxe, should her mother ever find out her daughter's real feelings about the Code or Rouxe's herd. It could be a dramatic plot point for the both of them.

Another Brother? - Upon finding out that she has another brother, Titanya will try to seek him out and get to know him. She'll automatically assume that because she is so close to Elijah, that she will be close to Dumah as well. What a surprise it is to her when she finds this is not the case. Depending on the interactions that occur, this may or may not encourage her to go seek out her father as well.

Name: Lief
Temper: Determined

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope~

Personality: + Ambitous Ever since she was a foal, Lief had been ambitious. She wanted to succeeed in her studies, in her duties and in life. Her mother's shortcomings had fueled her - not out of pity for her mother but out of fear for herself. She saw how her mother feared her daughter would end up the same and she didn't wish to disappoint her. Her ambitions have made her an excellent student - always trying her hardest and asking for help when she doesn't quite understand something.
Her desire to learn and be the best she can be has made her curious in nature - she's always asking questions about how things work and always finding new things to learn. It has, however, filled her head with dreams of grandeur - not in a megalomaniac sense but perhaps she may be setting her sights high a little too early.

- Stubborn Her ambitious nature however has left her a tad stubborn. Once she's set her mind on something she'll stick to it and Valhalla would freeze over before she would change her mind. Her stubbornness extends to her studies - if she's stuck, she'll focus on the problem until she has figured out a solution.
It also covers her beliefs - she follows every part of the code and would never do anything to jeopardise it or her position.

+ Courageous Her desire to make her mother and other members of the herd proud have given her courage. She is not easily afraid and is always the first to volunteer for tasks that may involve some sort of danger. While it is an honorable trait it has made her reckless at times and has sometimes gotten her in trouble.

+/- Independent Her goals, her desires and her beliefs have left her not a lot of room for much else. While it has made her independent it has also made her unemotional - she doesn't form bonds like the ones she had as a foal with her family and isn't one to show emotion easily - aside from the occasional angry outburst. Perhaps others would be left lonesome but all Lief needs is her teachings and her code. Whatever emotional fulfillment she requires is filled by her mother and her brother - the only two able to see a softer side of her.

* Specialised Healers Lief's curious nature had drawn her to healing instantly. There were so many aspects of healing she could learn, but herbology drew her in more - the endless possibilities, the formulas; it was an endless supply of knowledge waiting for her to tap into. She keeps a log of all her salves, balms and potions and records of plant uses she's found.
* Cartography In her travels, Lief will make maps, tracking locations of useful herbs and things she requires in her travels. Storage locations for emergency supplies, friendly traders, dangerous routes. Her maps are a treasure of hers and she is very unlikely to make copies or lend them because they take such a long time to make. However, she's willing to share their knowledge. Should someone receive a copy or an original they are considered very special to Lief.

Family Relationship: Lief respects her mother as a teacher and loves her as the one who has raised her. However, she is not blind to her mothers shortcomings and while she doesn't look down upon her, she fears ending up the same and being unable to fulfil her mission as a Valkyrie. She would never make these feelings known towards her mother, but she does use them to push herself in her studies.

Her brother she loves - doting on him as a sister should - always looking out for him and helping when he's in trouble - to the best of her abilities, at least. She frets perhaps too much at times and is trying to learn to let him gain his own dependence and her own. At times she may lose her temper with him - if he distracts her from her studies and distracts his mother from teaching her - at the same time she pities him because he does not have such an important purpose as she does.

She may perhaps seek out her father and other brother in the future - but she is unsure.
Rank: Practitioner ---> Member
Option: A ---> B
How faithful is she to the Code?: She follows the code to the letter and her devotion to it will eventually find her joining up with the herd once her mother has taught her all she can.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response: Lief had been practicing. She had not long ago started her lessons - taught by none other than her mother - and she had already taken a shining to them. She wished to learn everything she could - to absorb every piece of information so that she could stick to the code where her mother could not - so that her mother's fears would be in vain. It had been a particular difficult set of movements - ones intended to use an opponents weight against them. She was still clumsy on her feet and it had taken her some time to get as far as she had.

Lief had thought herself near mastery when a cry interrupted her and she stumbled, falling forward with an oof. The cry was her brother, of course, and she turned in his direction - for he had only been running around chasing bees no a moment before. But in his place she saw emptiness and her heart skipped a beat as her eyes darted frantically to and fro - looking for any sign of her brother. His voice cried out again and she darted forward, stopping just a fraction quick enough so as to not end in the same hole her brother was now occupying.

The filly let out a sigh and shook her head, a frown creasing her features. "Honestly," she chastised. "Mother's not been gone five minutes." Her tongue clicked against the roof of her mouth and she had prepared to let out another lecture when the bush behind her rustled. She turned, staring intently. Her brother whimpered and she hushed him.

"Don't fret. It's probably just an animal wandering too close. I'll protect you." Her voice was a whisper and she crouched down, slowly developing muscles taught as she waited. The creature exited the bush the same time Lief launched with a cry and she was met with a squeak and a cry of fear. A fawn flopped underneath her weight and she rolled off of it, huffing.

The fawn stood on shaky limbs and ran off the way it came as fast as it could. Lief rolled on her back and gave a sigh. She was glad and annoyed it had not been a threat. Annoyed because it would've given her a chance to test her strengths - glad because even she was aware that her strengths weren't as amazing as she thought.

"What's going on, Lief?" Her brother called, interrupting her train of thought.

"Nothing. Was just a deer." She made her way back to the hole and lay next to it, peering down at her brother. "I'm not gonna be able to get you up any time soon. You're gonna have to wait until mother comes back."

She paused and looked at him with a raised brow. "You oughta stop chasing bees when they sting you so much," she nosed the air in the direction of his swollen eye and cheek.

"But they fly around so wonderfully," he returned with a whistful sigh.

Plot Ideas:

+ Revelations: Lief coming to terms with the fact that her mother cannot teach her anymore and realising that she must seek out the herd. It will be something she chooses to do on her own - to gain her own independence. She'll ask that her mother and brother stay behind - whether they do, however, is up to them..

+ Questions: Something will make her question all she's learnt - even if only for a brief moment. It will shake her and she'll question her loyalty and her goals - will possibly result in her leaving the herd for a period of time.

+ Plants, plants, plants: Her interest in herbology. I'd like this explored early on and then expanded on as she gets older - meeting different soquili who specialise in such and learning all she can from them.

+ Tainted: This will be a long, ongoing plot. I want for Lief to kill someone she deems worthy - to send them to Valhalla and then finding out - from multiple sources with a lot of evidence - that said person wasn't worthy. This will result in her gaining taint and she will have to come to terms with it - though she will not for some time and will temporarily lose her focus. It is likely she will go on a crusade to try and remove the taint - a journey of self discovery and acceptance, so to speak.

----> Encounters with members of the herd and their reactions to her taintedness. Those that are 'pure' and those that are also tainted.

+ Battles: Encounters with soquili who wish her harm in which she can emerge victorious or not. Testing her skillsl realising she needs to adapt.

+ Family Plots: Definitely want her family to be involved in her life - especially during the hard times in which they will likely be the only ones to see how she is really feeling and to truly understand.
Potential meeting of her father and other brother though she will likely delay it for sometime until she feels she is ready and it is time.

Name: Tamsin
Temper: Persistent

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope

Personality: Tamsin does what has to be done. Only when a big decision has to be made, does she look to her family and friends for extra guidance. It might not always be taken, but at least she will listen.

She is always questioning to get the full understanding of the what, who and why's. She doesn't bully and can't stand others who do. If Tamsin protects you from a bully, she expects that you don't turn to bully another.

Family Relationship: Tamsin adores her mothers. She learns all she can about the Code, before deciding what she is going to do.

Tamsin looks to her brother as a means of relaxing and going back to the lack of responsibility. Though, maybe not as far back, since it seems she always was watching out for him.

Her father, well she might look for him. For now she is more into what her mother can teach her.

Rank: Practitioner to Member maybe
Option: A
How faithful is she to the Code?: She is faithful to what her mother has taught her. As she grows, it will depend on who she runs into if she will go back to the herd for more answers and become a member, or if she will be like her mother.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response:
Tamsin watched as Elijah was doing his thing before he fell into the pit. She was suppose to be studying, but decided to take a break. Laughing at his demise, the young filly walked over. The sides were steep and muddy. This was not good, but what could she do?

Kneeling down at the steadier edge, "Elijah. I will get you out. You know me, can't leave the weak behind." She winked, letting him know she is kidding. He wasn't weak, just a bit...The rustling of a bush brought her train of thought back to the issue at hand. Nothing she learned so far would help with this.

The bush rustles again. "Stay quiet down there, little brother. Something is making a ruckus and I don't want it to get you." Clambering back to her hooves, Tamsin moves as quietly as a filly can towards the bush. Nervous that whatever is in there could be after them, she takes in the deep breath to be brave. Releasing it she shuts her eyes and shoves her face into the brush.

"AHHHH!!!" As the tails brush against her face, she pulls away. "Weed! Weed, I..we need your help." The filly is moving back when, "TAMSIN! What is going on up there?!!" Dropping her head to her chest, she goes back to the pits edge.

"What did I tell you? Keep quiet, right?" She waited for his nod, "So why did you just yell?" Weed popped up next to her to look down at Elijah. "This is why I need your help. Can you help pull him out?" The fox just shock it's head and sighed.

Well this wasn't going her way today. "Suppose to be studying." Glancing around she spotted some branches that might hold a colt. If it didn't work they would have to wait for mother to get here. Dragging them over, "I am going to be holding a branch down for you to grab a hold of. You better hold on while I try to pull you up. You fall back down we have to wait for mother to arrive."

She felt him grab the branch, and she felt him fall off a short time later. Her young legs could not bring him up and out fast enough. "So, Elijah and Weed...Know any jokes?"

Plot Ideas:

You're my father? Traveling Tamsin runs into her father. Only to realize it is him because of traits her and her brother do not share with their mother.

Why? As a foal, that is her favorite word to the adults. Her way of learning why things are done.

I Told You Tamsin stops another Soq from being bullied. Only to see that Soq start bullying another.

Name: Amata - Swedish 'beloved'
Temper: Indomitable

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope

Personality: Amata is VERY sure of herself. She never faults in her decisions or changes her mind at a later date. Once she has it in her head that there is a right thing to do, she will follow that thing to the ends of the earth. She believes more than anything else that she is destined for greatness and she will seek out her greatness above all else. Though she believes that she must do her work alone, she does enjoy the company of others, often seeking out a new friend anywhere she may be. Amata is a very proud mare and will do anything for her mother and her honor.
Family Relationship: Amata adores her mother completely and absolutly. In her eyes, she could do no wrong. Her brother is a bit of a struggle for her. She often sees him as a bit weak because of his personality. Wanting to show him to take charge will be a goal of hers. She understands that, as a male, he will not stay with their herd, but she certainly doesn't see that as an excuse to not be all he can be.

Rank: Member
Option: B
How faithful is she to the Code?: Amata will follow the code with all her heart and mind. She believes that it is there for a reason.

Prompt Number: 2
Prompt Response:
Elijah and Weed seemed to have been enjoying some bananas... it wasn't too terribly odd of a thing from them to enjoy. The problem is that, while they were peeling things, they simply threw the peels into the walking path.

Amata hadn't seen it coming. She was just on a small stroll to stretch her legs when it happened...

Rounding the corner around a bush, she yelled out to her family as she saw them, just to tell them that she was there. She wasn't paying any attention to the ground, didn't think she had to.

"Ahhhhh....!!"

She slipped and fell flat onto her face. The MOST ungraceful thing she had EVER done in her LIFE up to then!

Looking up from the ground, there were tears in her eyes. She then realized she couldn't let her family see her like this! It was bad enough that they saw the fall, they couldn't see her cry too!

In an effort to get her pride back, she slowly stood up. Getting to all four feet, she held back the tears from her bruise. She would NOT let them see her cry. Amata brushed herself off and, as gracefully as she could, made her way over to her mother.

As she looked at her mother, she could see the concern in her eyes.

"Don't worry mother, I'm perfectly fine. I can handle a little bit of a slip. It's not a big deal at all." She then looked at her brother, copying her mother's own stern look, "YOU should learn to clean up your messes when you are done." She was NOT pleased with her brother...

Plot Ideas: Lots and lots of family RP and plots. Especially with her brother! She wants to help teach him to be more sure of himself.
Her finding some new friends would be wonderful! These friends don't have to be killed or anything, she just likes to hang out.
Eventually I would love to have her be with a stallion who is within the herd as well. She would be more the type to have someone within the herd, but stay with that one.
I would love for her to eventually meet her father and her other brother as well. Maybe even meet the mare that takes care of her brother.

Name: Faeuh {wanted to follow the 'uh' ending with her brothers, fffff... }
Temper: Withholding

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: nope to both

Personality: She's very dutiful, disciplined, and sticks to her guns when it comes to finding resolution and moral guidance. Since she was a young foal, she felt she had... a responsibility, and duty to uphold. Friendship will not be something she seeks out, or is able to acquire easily, her overly serious nature typically a natural repellent to any other foals. Learning of the Code of Edda has made her terrified to make any sort of close connections, though she will not be aware of it consciously. This is will cause her to begin the building of her walls, and guarding herself from feeling anything, or letting herself truly develop what's being kept hostage within her.

Faeuh is extremely selfless, almost to a fault. This altruistic nature can be the cause of her often getting the bad end of a situation. She also is very withholding when it comes to her own urges and desires. There are times she will feel some sort of flutter in her stomach, or chest, or a part of her that yearns for... something more. But she only see's herself as a vessel of justice, to carry out the family line of work as a valkyrie. Because of this though, she will lock away many parts of herself that won't be able to fully blossom, develop, or reveal themselves. Lying dormant, they will make small attempts to prod at her, and shake the cage they've been banished to. These are the times that she finds herself feeling distracted.

As she gets older, and experiences, and sees more, she'll find herself craving.... something. She won't be able to truly know what it is, but within her she can feel an insatiable need for... something. She'll eventually start to find herself distracted, or wandering in search of what it is her soul/needs is telling her she needs.

Family Relationship: Since she refuses to allow herself connect or create any sort of bond with others, her brother and mother are the ones she's the most... "close" to. And even then, she hardly treats, or acts any differently around them. She'll be very protective over them both, and look up to her mother a great deal in terms of becoming a strong, and respectable valkyrie. With her brother, she'll watch over him a great deal, since he seems to get into a deal of trouble. { just guessing here, due to his clumsy ways?}
While she won't shun the idea away of meeting her other brother, and father, she won't actively seek them out. She believes that if they were supposed to be in her life, they would have been/made the effort to. She does not hold any sort of hostility or qualms with them, but won't go out of her way to find them. In general, her feelings are indifferent towards them.

Rank: Practitioner, with possibility to become a Defector. Or even Forsaken. Only time, and rp/plotting would tell.
Option: A
How faithful is she to the Code?: She will stick to it firmly for a long time, but start to feel herself waver and crack later on in her life.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response:

The new area mother had brought them to recently was rather pleasant. It was a lush, vibrant, and thick deciduous forest, that stretched on for miles, housing all sorts of life from various fauna from the animal kingdom. Veiling the skies were voluptuous canopies that provided cover from the harsh sunlight when clouds weren't present, windows and pockets allowing beams of light to pierce through like a beacon from Valhalla. Particles and pollen would dance in these rays, causing an ethereal like setting when gazing along the horizon of vegetation and the space between. Faeuh had come to find herself exploring the area when the chance was granted, learning its in and outs, scouting the local wildlife, and taking into account the flora that teemed the place at every angle. Truly, the place was abundant with... life. Solitude and tranquility were paired with the small hidden glimpses of death and decay that balanced it out; a spider draining the life from its victim, mushrooms stationed where their abilities were needed and in turn flagging fallen carcasses, or a rotting fruit covered with insects stripping it of all nutrients that remained.
As taught by her mother, both aspects in their world were equal and necessary for order to be kept. Thus, what may cause others to cringe, or avert their gaze, the filly would look onward without an expression etched on her youthful face... yet respect was firmly settled in her berry red eyes.

Call and respond songs would lace and echo through the air, Faeuh's ever attentive ears twitching faintly when a new one would reach them, as though trying to interpret what it was that was being conveyed. There were some signals that could be picked up based on the tones and pitches, signing for an alert, or a greeting. The same could be said for the hissing of the cicadas that were scattered everywhere, trying to impress another for courtship. It was times like these that the young mare would allow herself the mild pleasure of letting herself drop her guard, and simply... be. To feel the thrum, hum, eb and flow of what was around her, and how she herself was incorporated into the thick of it all. Just gliding through, almost like a ghost, leaving small ripples here and there when her placed paws/claws flattened the grass beneath her, and disturbed the petite insects nearby. Grasshoppers, crickets, moths, spiders, and the ilk would scurry out from the invading 'giants' steps, like waves leaping in unison, as they fled.

Faeuh truly liked to lose herself like this, even closing her eyes to let her other senses guide her, and almost shut out the worries, concerns, and responsibilities that held her shackled from dreams, and desire, and... individuality. Almost like shutting out the world she'd been born into, and taking on an entire new identity. Toying with the idea of what kind of life she might have had, or who she might have been if she'd been given the vessel of a serpent, or avian. If she could join them in their leisurely life, without cares, or frets, besides simply surviving. Singing, smiling, dancing in the air like a ribbon fluttering under the tickle of a playful breeze. To not have such a heavy weight resting like boulders on her slim shoulders.

That... wouldn't last too long. Abruptly she would find herself again, stopping short in her graceful, fluid advancing, to slowly peel open those ruby reds. She couldn't allow herself the chance to enjoy such a luxury as daydreaming, and imagination. It was foolish, and only a set up for disappointment. This was not her reality, this was not logical to even flirt with even for a second.

Brows furrowing, the filly gathered herself, stood up straighter, head high, and took more definitive steps as she went on through the enchanting forest.

Continuing on, Faeuh would linger in spots where small creatures and critters didn't seem to mind her presence, having built a soft spot--though she would never admit it-- for their company. It was almost a guilty pleasure to watch them, observe them, and have their trust gained without any means or care to the title she held. Rabbits, lizards, chipmunks, squirrels, they all gave curious twitches of their noses, or flickers of tongues towards the unknown Soquili, but went about continuing their business; Sun-bathing, grazing, darting about, or burying. It'd rained the night before, remnants still remaining with droplets that still clung to anything that'd been in their path. It made the greenery radiate with saturation, plumping and rejuvenating them to their prime. This in turn was a benefit to the mobile creatures, who reveled in the flora's bounty

But here was also... something else about watching them. Something almost hypnotizing, that made it impossible to look away, on occasion. A sort of excitement would bubble in her stomach, and make her muscles flex under the taut skin of her pelt, her heart quicken... as though she were ready to give chase as they darted around so gleefully. This sense of play and happiness was swiftly snuffed out when picked up on, embarrassment riddling her features, and the solemn demeanor returned. With a seemingly wistful glance in her eyes, she would bid adieu to the small creatures that were kind enough to frolic around her, without fear or a care.

On and off this rise and fall in emotions would battle it out when she was alone to her own thoughts, and self. Without the need to keep up appearances, or worry mother that she may be too soft hearted. That was the last thing she'd ever want to impose upon the female who'd been kind enough to keep her safe as she grew. While affection was something Faeuh was unaccustomed to, it did not falter her loyalty, or care for her mother. If anything, it deepened the respect she held. What was coddling and tenderness but a means of weakness that wouldn't provide any sort of growth and development for her. What would... cuddling, and soft nuzzling do... to help her any?
No, no, no. Shaking her head firmly, giving a snort of annoyance with herself, Faeuh marched faster forward, eyes glued ahead of her, mission now assigned: to rejoin her brother. That was enough alone time for the day.

She never liked straying away from Elijah for too long. Given his nature of being rather clumsy, and lacking assertiveness, it seemed trouble was always nipping at his heels. Retracing back to the path leading to the spot they'd been using to rest at, Faeuh flared her nostrils to scent the air, in order to find her basketmate's cologne. Mother wasn't here, as she was busy elsewhere, leaving the two foals to their own, but in the safety of the well covered woods. Ears swiveled and turned like radars once the source was picked up, falling into a light trot as she tracked after it; a skill she'd started developing on her own. It was in part due to her brothers lack of tact that she did indeed start relying on this ability, in order to keep tabs on his whereabouts. Head lowering to the ground, then the passing bushes and branches, she could follow the trail, even if the stagnant dew from the prior rain pour attempted to dull and dilute his perfume... there wasn't much that could escape her keen nose.

Following a path that lead on to a small clearing nestled by a massive fallen trunk, that had a lovely blanket of moss growing along it, she was able to spot her brother nearly straight away. There, in a divot by the trunk, was her dear kinsmen. Stepping up to the lip of the sudden drop, she stared down to see him dirtied, and looking back up to her pathetically. With a soft, silent sigh, she called out to him in a calm, resolute tone,

"Are you alright, Elijah?" she could see no injuries from her elevated level, but... he seemed to only be scratched up, and riddled with mud.

The colt gave a sheepish, subtle nod in response to the filly, who then looked around her for some means of pulling him out. While they were gifted with the blessing of multiple wings, they were far too young to utilize their flying abilities. And mother was still gone, with Weed, scoping out the area further on... If only these trees had vines.

But as she gazed around them, pondering and formulating ideas to relieve her sibling from their prison, the sudden loud rustle from behind her. Snapping her head around, body following after, Feauh instinctively took a defensive stance before the pit, wings lifting to provide a larger image for her small frame. Fear wasn't something she was accustom to, nor met with. Her mothers steely nature had rubbed off a sense of empowerment for the filly, stamping out any chance of the flight impulse to even bud. Eyes narrowing, and muscles tightening, she prepared herself for what ever foe may lie beyond the dancing shrubbery, ready to lay her life on the line to protect her brethren.

A startled bleat broke the tension, followed by a colourful, if not drenched, goat stumbling forward from the veg, landing right on its chest, rump in the air. It gave another weak cry, Faeuh staring at it with.. some disbelief, and uncertainty, laced with curiosity. Slowly, she began to relax, and observe the creatures rather deplorable state. It had twigs, sticks, leaves, mud, and some squashed bugs stuck to its coat, between its cloven hooves, and clinging to its nubby horns. As it began to recover from its fall, it stared up at the unamused foal, blinking innocently, before giving an inquisitive bleat in greeting.

It was then that Faeuh was hit with a feeling of deja vu... causing her to glance back at the hole her brother was stored in. Shaking her head lightly, the filly turned back to the edge of the pit, and slowly lowered herself to rest beside it. They'd just have to wait for mother to return and pull him out. Closing her eyes, she listened as the grass shuffled lightly with hoofsteps, peeking an eye open to spy the goat now settled right across from her, in the same sort of position. Staring at it, she crooked a brow... but decided to say nothing on it.

Ok. So the three of them would wait for mother and Weed to return. Very well. That was fine.

Plot Ideas: { side note: these don't typically come up until I've rp'd the character. Just a few ideas:}

- Conflicted; at a young age, she'll have a small window where she won't be entirely shut off, and serious business. It will be brief, but once she finds out about the Code, I want her to have a moment where she'll be creating those decisions to stay distant from everyone as best she can.

- A... friend?; I'd like for her to get close to making a friend, only for it to fall completely apart when they get tired of her ways/guarded nature, or just leave one day. It would be crushing for Faeuh, though she wouldn't dare outwardly show it, and provide some means of self-loathing deep down inside. { this could also happen a few times }

- Traveling medic; where she joins my warrior crew to aid them in their quests of justice.

- Denial; I'd like for her to deny feelings that she holds for another, and try her hardest to avoid, and push them away. This could be simply something that goes on throughout her life, or at specific times of her life, where she grows more hardened, and withdrawn after losing that spark of what she so desires: connection.

- Questioning the Code; basically as the title says. She'll begin to question it, and wonder if it's truly right. Would love if this could lead her to talking to other valkyrie about it, and gaining their perspectives, to maybe help her wavering uncertainties, or aid them.

- oh no love; Yes, I want her to fall in love. With someone who is persistent, free of spirit, and just the opposite of her. { though this doesn't have to be the case entirely. basically who ever really takes her fancy.} I want her to try avoiding them as usual too, and keeping her distance, but they keep on following her, and finding her, refusing to let up. I want this to cause a great deal of internal conflict for her, as well as crumble those walls a little to let that innocence that's dwelled within her creep out a bit to allow maybe curiosity to shine through, a hint of a smile, or perhaps the whisper of a faint giggle. Essentially, this will really challenge what's been stifled inside of her, wanting to break free, and the adamant hold she's hand on herself to not be vulnerable, and remain numb.

8:40pm MST edit: added a bit about "Elysia" usage when out of the herd into her personality!

8:44pm MST edit: And then Ara put her name alongside "Username" derp

8:50pm MST edit: had to add another tidbit in personality I forgot.

Username: ArashiX
Name: Kyrie Elysia
Origin Breakdown:
- Kyrie: from Greek origins "Kurie eleēson" ‘Lord, have mercy’, a prominent Gregorian chant that has seen many creative interpretations throughout the years. (Also as a fun note: I also chose the name for my OC based off the word "Valkyrie", so. xD PERFECT.)
- Elysia: derived from the word "Elysium" or the Elysian Fields is a conception of the afterlife that developed over time and was maintained by certain Greek religious and philosophical sects and cults. Initially separate from the realm of Hades, admission was reserved for mortals related to the gods and other heroes. Later, it expanded to include those chosen by the gods, the righteous, and the heroic, where they would remain after death, to live a blessed and happy life.

Temper: Intuitive

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope!

Personality:

Kyrie is someone who is observant, perceptive, and generally keen. She's geared towards survival and surviving, and uses her perception and gut instincts to come out on top. These skills are useful when gauging a soquili or familiar's personality, and whether or not they are due the honour of being sent to Valhalla.

She tends to stay quiet, but as well as the fact her mind is constantly working, constantly thinking, rather than being overly shy; if necessary, she will put others in their place verbally. She tries to be constantly aware of her surroundings. Quick escape routes, objects of usefulness, potential foes, etc.

Around most acquaintances she remains quietly composed and watchful, though she will converse and interact. She simply remains somewhat distant, but isn't outright unfriendly or hostile. She tends to be naturally wary of those outside her herd, but has been able to carefully craft a composed exterior. One of remote confidence and independence. She will also tend to use "Elysia" as a fallback name, rather than letting most of the outside world use her complete name.

Upon getting to know the mare, one thing becomes very apparent: despite her quiet and composed outer shell, she is deeply emotional and very passionate, filled with love and a unique understanding of the world and those she knows. Those that manage to wriggle their way to this point are gifted with seeing this side, but also with small touches - depending on the soquili - or very openly warm affection, as well as more frequent and larger smiles. She will do nearly anything for these individuals, provided it does not break the Code or her own personal morals.

She is an accepting individual in relation to others and who they are - with all their strengths and weaknesses - and has been raised to be conscientious of her choices and the impact they have on herself and others.

She greatly enjoys pushing herself to and past her physical limits, and so will consistently be seen taking up the role of "scout" and even shows an interest in mapping, as she will practically be constantly on the move, enjoying the expansion and contraction of her muscles, and the lithe strength in her capable body. She is a warrior, and has many little sayings that help her on her path ("Feldolgaztak. Kumalatak. Kutnitak. Prepare. Sacrifice. Endure." and "Türelam agba kontsalamaval--Tuhanos löylyak türelamak saɣe diutalet. Patience is the warrior's true weapon--a thousand patient breaths bring victory." among others). She's strong in heart, and will find she continues to grow and learn new ways to remain strong.

Unafraid to be independent, to be confident in herself, Kyrie certainly seems to have the drive and determination to survive, even if it happens to be on her own.

Family Relationship:

Zamiel - She will not know Zamiel until she is much older and capable of jouneying out on her own. It's possible their natures will clash, as Kyrie will have inherited his drive to survive and even some of his more predatory aspects.

Dumah - Dumah, I think, would interest her. Would she be able to draw him out? Who knows, but her muse is being relatively silent and ponderous over him. It's definitely something I'd like to explore!

Rouxe - Rouxe is a role-model. One of the closest she has, on how to interact with others...and even to hold them at a distance. Maybe especially that. However, she strives to have more of a balance between the self and others, rather than being more self-possessed like Rouxe; after all, she will have many others within the herd "raising" her, so to speak. But this is not to say she does not love her mother fiercely. Indeed, she loves her with all her heart, and she may be confused in the future at how she can feel so deeply and her mother seems to be the opposite.

Elijah - While she has a beholden sense of duty and protectiveness towards Elijah as he is younger than her...his uncertainty and even his clumsiness will baffle her...and probably steer her away from him somewhat, until certain events make her want to help rather than allow him to flounder. Like with her mother, she cares deeply for Elijah and enjoys being with him. She just wishes he would have more surety, especially since they both have red eyes, which is a symbol of strength and confidence in the herd.

Weed - Weed is...interesting, yet, much like Elijah, she's not certain she can view his timid nature as beneficial. However, she does find his methods of communication rather endearing.

Rank: Member (preferred roles including: scout, mapper, musician)
Option: A for a week or two, then B? (Gives time to briefly be away and then find herself in a fantastical world with her herd.)
How faithful is she to the Code?: As she grows, she will grow in faith, yet maintain a healthy balance with her shared core values and the Code!

Prompt Number: 2 (SHOWCASE SKILLZ)
Prompt Response:

Kyrie was excited, attentive, alert, and listening.

Lessons in healing were done, and now it came time for the really fun part: the part where she got to move and bounce and try to copy movements! The filly's ears were perked, forwards, and her red eyes held an excitement that was unable to be masked at this stage in her life. She bounced slightly as a movement was demonstrated and tried to absorb all of what the herd member was doing. How she sprang forward, how she landed, how she used the muscles in her back legs for propulsion by making it look effortless!

Finding herself in awe and definitely with something to practice, the little filly made her way off at a walk, containing her excitement. Kyrie took a deep breath, readied herself, and sprang forwards like a coiled spring..!

And didn't realize she had placed her foot overtop a banana peel! With a gasp, she landed half-sprawled, and automatically checked around herself with rolling eyes. What...Elijah and Momma were...they were watching! Her eyes went wide as her mind rapidly fired through ideas. With a snort, she moved abruptly again and turned her body towards the ground, wings tucked to her side! Of course it was awkward - and embarrassing, so embarrassing! - but she rolled over onto her back and used the momentum to regain her feet...

...and trotted it off, tail flicking in a little fanning wave behind herself! She didn't look back, not wanting her mom and younger brother to know it was actually a mistake and not something she'd planned, herself.

'That was an awesome recovery..!' She thought, giving herself a boost rather than pulling herself down. She had to, after all! 'I...I think...maybe I can use more moves like that. That would be fun! I should start to work on that some more. A lot more! After all, the faster and more able to move that I am...the better I will be when I start sending others to Valhalla..~'

Plot Ideas:

What If... - What if the other basket was a female? Did she have a sister? BETTER GO FIND OUT. This would probably be the first and potentially only time she will seek out her other family. "Only" depends on how it's plotted/RP'd out with the interactions. If she finds it favourable, she may drift back a few more times.

As Silent as Death Itself - Methods of walking to minimize sound will wind up being a big deal for Kyrie, and she will consistently strive for agility and speed while making her kills, and will be able to incorporate many "aerial" attacks, as well as some interesting running leaps and "parkour"-like moves.

Howl - She has some predatory remnants from her father, but not so much that she consistently needs to go on the hunt. However, it is enough to get her blood pumping and heart racing, so she will have to be conscious of it.

Darkness in Light - A little bit of taint. At some point, Kyrie will come to find something she regrets with one of her kills--be it she was too quick and relying too much on either observing or just having a "gut feeling". Ultimately it will grow and shape her, in many ways. One being she will become more discerning when sending one to Valhalla. It is a great gift and should be treated as such. I can see this coming around for when she sees the other family member's grief - or perhaps a mate's, or child's, or parent's - and she will spend some time being introspective even among the herd. It will be a time of great introspection and reverence for improving herself and to better find out what traits she should be looking for in those she sends to Valhalla, as well as better balancing the knack for analysis and intuition she has.

Storm Drunk - Storms will be a particularly potent highlight in her life. The fury and power of a storm will make her light up like a livewire. (Woo Thor connection!) It will act like a hybrid Valhalla for her. Heaven on Earth, so to speak, and will certainly serve to heighten her belief.

Rabbit Heart (Raise it Up) - her brother will be a source of love and...some frustration for her, mostly because she has always been so certain, so confident in her place and purpose as she grows, and as the eldest, she won't have much to empathize with him over (Darkness in Light will probably make her be more understanding of her brother as she's better able to perceive things as an adult rather than a foal). It may even cause her to take time as she's in her introspective phase to see if she can do anything to help him find and achieve his own purpose in life.

What Kind of Man..? - Mannnnnnnn. I can't say how much Kyrie would actually prefer some kind of lifemate. Because she would. Her entire persona, once you breach the layers of duty and distance, are about love and devotion. SO THIS MAY BE A THING. But it would take her a time or so to find the "right" male for her, potentially. It'd be super great if they were a Valkyrie already, having either been raised within the herd or adopted. :'D Or someone willing to join, that showed they were capable and devoted and strong.

Mother - Oh God. Motherhood? It may come upon her unexpectedly, and even though the Herd tends to take over and raise the children, she will still find herself rather baffled and uncertain of what she should do, when she feels so much for them--regardless of the way they come about.

Remain Nameless - I'm not entirely sure I'd want her to reach the rank of Edda? Simply because she has such deep emotional bonds, but it's not something I'd ever discount, either. She was born to be a survivalist, and a leader through feeling so much, but this could wind up being the opposite. Edda, while not a name, represents something "named" to her, all the same.

Queen of Peace - While Kyrie has a busy mind, she also needs things that quiet it. Running, flying, and all sorts of physical activity tend to do this, but she needs something for the times she needs to slow down. She will find she happens to be musically inclined, and it will fascinate her as it soothes her. She will find the crafting of music superior to any other art forms, for herself, but...has a weakness for items like her mother bestowed upon her while she was still in a basket. She will come to barter for any items she has as an adult by crafting music to trade with.

Username: Nikkichomp
Name: Rami (Hebrew for "to aim at" or "to dream"; also a good combination of Rouxe and Zamiel)
Temper: Ambitious

Do you own or co-own a triwing?: Nope!

Personality: Rami is serene, good-natured, and diplomatic in her interactions with other Soquili. She is good at disguising her true feelings in favor of being polite or keeping the upper hand in a conversation. She tends to keep information to herself and divulge it only on a need-to-know basis, because she believes that information is power. She prefers to stay as in control as she is able; as a result, she often keeps others in the dark when she believes they do not need to be aware of something. This can be to her detriment, however, because it leaves others to make their decisions with incomplete knowledge.
Family Relationship: Rami adores her mother when she is very young, but as she grows older, they grow more distanced. This is not to say that Rami dislikes or has any less respect for her mother; rather, it's a reflection of the distance that Rami tends to keep between herself any everyone else.

She keeps herself distanced from her brother from an early age, because she knows he cannot be a Valkyrie and will not be able to remain with the herd once he is an adult. In this way, she attempts to shield herself from the emotional pain that may come with his departure, but it leaves her with regrets as an adult for not making the most of the time they did have to spend together.

Rami has no desire to seek out her father or other brother. Her main focus is adhering to the life of the Valkyrie, and they would only be a distraction. Besides, they were not honored with the privilege of being Valkyries themselves, and she believes they have no important knowledge to impart, so they are of little interest to her.

Rank: Her rank will ultimately be determined by her experiences as a foal. She will want to spend time helping each of the ranks while she is young to find out which one has the chattiest mares in it. Rami discovered early on that where there is gossip, there is important information to be learned She will select a rank mainly based on which one gives her access to the most useful or most plentiful information.
Option: Preferrably B, although I would be flexible for plot purposes :3
How faithful is she to the Code?: Rami is a devout believer in the ways of the Code. To stray would be the worst kind of dishonor, and she would rather die than violate the laws of the Code. Rami is proud to be a valkyrie and would not know who she is if she lost her title.

Prompt Number: 1
Prompt Response:
Rami giggled as they bounded through the forest. They weren't chasing anything in particular, just running for the fun of it, and frolicking freely as only the youngest of foals can do. They dashed through a series of shrubs and small trees, losing sight of one another. Rami popped through the plants into a small clearing and whirled around, expecting her brother to pop out at any moment. Instead, his cries met her ears. He sounded further away than he should be. Worried, she followed the sound of his voice, a small bit of fear creeping into her mind. She burst through the undergrowth. Her feet were suddenly much too close to a sharp dropoff. She threw her weight away from the edge in an attempt to avoid falling. Her back hooves slipped on the ground, but she sunk her front claws into the earth for extra traction. She slid to a stop, having narrowly avoided falling down the precipice. She let out a sigh of relief. That was much too close, she thought.

Her brother's voice came from below the dropoff. Curious, she walked to the edge and peered down. It appeared he was in some kind of pit. It wasn't terribly deep and he appeared unharmed aside from the likelihood of some bruises. His voice faded into the back of her mind, however, as a nearby plant began to rustle. Her whole body tensed, on alert. She couldn't get her brother out of the pit, but she could keep the area safe until help arrived. She knew they had left easily seen tracks through the forest, and it wouldn't be too long before someone came looking for them when they inevitably didn't return to the herd. She turned away from the pit and moved toward the noisy brush. She didn't know what awaited her, but she was ready to fight if necessary.

Rami poked the bush quickly with her claw, then backed up a couple of steps, ready to defend. She hadn't gotten nearly as much practice as the grown-up Valkyries, but she knew a little about using her claws and horn to fight. Her lessons in the herd were not going to waste. A small rabbit darted out from the plant, headed straight for Rami, but veered suddenly away from the pit as soon as it realized there was a predator standing there. Rami considered chasing the rabbit for just an instant, but stayed put, knowing she should not stray from protecting the pit her brother stood in. She circled the pit slowly, guarding it until the adults arrived.

Plot Ideas:Assuming that she is raised within the valkyrie herd, Rami will aspire to the role of Edda one day, though she would never admit it out loud. With the exception of her immediate family, her friendships and relationships are usually strategic in nature. Ever the politician, she always speaks carefully and appears modest and good-natured, even when she's irked.

*Meet & Greet with Edda
(Rami's first encounter with Edda leaves her impressed and eager to please the leader of the Valkyries. Will Edda also be impressed by the filly, or will Rami have to work hard to earn favor?)

*Family Plots
(of course!! Establish the family dynamic, get into foal mischief with her brother, etc. I would like at least one session of foal antics to get her into a little trouble with the herd and require her to make repentance in some way. Whatever lesson is learned from this will become a more prominent aspect of her personality. These antics will take place very early on in her life, and will also be the catalyst for her decision to keep herself distanced from her brother.)

*What is Love?
(Because so many of Rami's relationships are generally diplomatic in nature, she's not really sure how to behave when she truly likes someone's company. I would like to explore her feelings and reactions when faced with the fact that she loves another Soquili. This can be either a platonic or romantic love; whichever happens naturally.)

*Lessons in being a Valkyrie
(Any and all plots that involve her learning about the Code and how to follow it)

*Better to Have Loved
(Adult Rami discovers that she misses her brother despite her attempts to keep herself distanced from him as a foal, and she wishes she had made good use of the time they had together. This will probably be a solo RP in which she takes stock of her emotions and decides how to cope with them. Ultimately she will learn the lesson that it is better to love and lose someone than to never have loved at all.)
