[META] The Rain Festival! (Over!)

Rolling onto his stomach as he watched her, he chuckled as he stood up. "Pretty fun," He paws, thinking a little before making some distance. "but everything is fun." He finished as he watched everyone. It was to be a dance, right? Giving in to himself, his body began to rock back and forth, moving his fur as if it was grass before he would make a jump to his side, throwing his head up one his paws were off the ground then brought it have down once he felt the soil. He was getting more fluent with the movement as he relaxed, working into a flow.

Kande smiled at the rust coloured cheetah as he got more free in his movements and dancing. It seemed like he was really enjoying himself now. She beamed a little excited that she was able to bring him into the centre of the festival instead of him hanging out on the fringe. She looked over at her father hoping that he had noticed and was proud.

"Now you've got it" she told them male cheetah as she rose to her feet and went back to swaying back and forth to the tune that was in her head. She looked up towards the skies wondering if all their dancing was pleasing the gods.

Kande danced on over to the newcomer lioness. She offered her a kind smile, "Better late than never." she said as she began to dance around the lioness. Kande felt like she was getting better at this dancing thing though she realized there was quite the possibility that she looked like a complete fool, she had already decided she would be quite alright with that.

"My name is Kande" she told the lioness, many knew who she was as she was Chozi's daughter, but to be honest she had so many brothers and sisters and they all looked like Chozi she imaged people confused the lot of them all the time.

Chozi could feel the sun leave his back as they danced, only glancing up once again to check the weather. He felt as if he was all over the place, so distracted as he danced a bit. He tossed Casa and Kande a smile. "It's alright, really." He told the Orja.

"I think it's going to rain soon," he offered curiously. The clouds had covered the sun and it had darkened considerably. Perhaps this really was working and not just coincidence... He turned a bit to look out over at the other dancers to see how they would react. It definitely was due for some rainfall. He took in a deep breath, glancing at the sky and hoping to feel a drop of rain upon his head. He prayed hard as he danced, hoping for a god to descend upon them bearing rain upon the lands.

He would do, oh, just about anything for that to happen.

Nyesha had been flying, soaring this way and that, elated from the turn her life had taken lately. She had managed to overcome her emotions, her fears, and though there was still some uncertainty with how she felt about Bahari, she had started her life with Sekmes now.

She loved spending time in the mortal world, too. As she flew closer to the ground she saw something unusual - unusual creatures moving in unusual ways. They were...dancing? Nyesha caught the words "drought" and "rain" looking to the cracked earth provided all the information she needed. They needed rain. The Goddess never really thought about those places which didn't have any naturally occurring rain - though she could produce rainfall she wasn't always responsible for all of it. Some of it just seemed to happen, and her powers could sometimes be unpredictable.

The Goddess felt a huge pang of guilt as she looked at the group. Perhaps she should pay more attention to those places that needed her... perhaps she had a duty of sorts. With a swoop, she landed on the ground a little way off from the group - almost unseen.

Nye often debated turning herself into her mortal form, but it wasn't something she did very often. She liked to be herself, not because she wanted to show off to mortals, but because she liked the freedom. It wasn't always necessary to hide.

Concentrating, she made it fall in fat droplets as far as the eye could see. She had no idea how far their lands spanned, and so tried to make the area as large as possible. Rain roared down against the ground, the creatures, the foliage and washed them anew. She kept herself just out of view, perhaps only a twinkling wing visible for a split second, and then she watched. Was this what they had wanted? Wait - were they dancing for her?

Rain! It was raining! Chozi whipped his head around, looking as the drops fell to the dusty earth. He gave a laugh as one of the heavy drops fell on his nose. This just could not be a coincidence. This had to be the collective dance of the pride.

He couldn't imagine it just being a hoax or anything else. This had to be their collective work. "We did it!" He near shouted. He near barreled into someone at the small hop of joy he did.

He was so excited. It was over, the drought was over!
