Are girls with guy avatars welcome?

It's probably been asked before, but....

I'm biologically female. I prefer the male bases and male items, so I prefer to keep a male avatar. Is this breaking any rules?

I'm pretty sure it's allowed, but only because I had a male avatar for a while and never got kicked or warned about it. You'll prooobably want to get a second answer though...
