Afryse didn't know how to respond to any of this. The lusus, the way that his throat hurt, the way Zindel made him feel, and now breaking and entering. It wasn't like he was a moral troll, it was just... He shook his head and sighed, "Lets get this done." And then I can leave and never seen you again for the rest of my forsaken life.

He approached the door with Zindel, feeling for once an urgency not related to thirst. The door was unlocked and swung open breezily. So, now it was just finding the bathroom. He glanced at the captive kid and motioned with his head. "Your turn to lead."

With a roll of his eyes at Afryse's curtness, Zindel let the other lead until they reached the front. Irritation seeped into him with each movement the other took-- He wasn't stealthy at all, nor did he care about performance. It was like he was being dragged somewhere he wanted nothing to do of. Closing the door before taking the lead fluidly, he crouched down considerably, relaxing his muscles as much as he could with a shitty, numb hand. He quickly went over the layout of the hive in his mind before walking quickly, tugging him toward where they needed to go and finally reaching the bathroom. He tugged the other toward the sink, reaching over and letting it run for a second-- It usually took a minute to get the heat running, but they wouldn't have to wait long... Finally...!

Afyrse was jerked down with Zindel's decision to act like he was in some sort of spy movie. What was the point? Hadn't he said that the troll was always out? Perhaps even dead. This surge of worry was ridiculous. Snorting, he followed the paranoid troll into the ablution chamber. There he turned on the sink... Oh water. Sweet water. Afryse almost drooled as it pooled out. Just the moisture in the air was making him feel better, but not enough to control the powers that shackled them together. "Amazing.. Running water." While we all are almost dead from thirst. Tsk.

A sudden thump from the entrance sent Afryse's heart thumping, "W-what was that?" He hissed to Zindel.

Zindel almost forgot the yellowblood lived in a city currently suffering through a drought. Hearing the thump, Zindel's eyes widened, startling the coward to his core. Didn't-- Didn't Wrenmom say she would be their look out?! Did she fly away again?!? "S-shut up, shut up," He whispered desperately, watching the water melt the ice more and more until it was thin enough to snap. He quickly melted the rest of it off with a hiss of pain from the intensity of the heat, and quickly tried to close it, but ended up leaving the cold water on by accident. "We-- we need to get out now--" He panicked, voice getting smaller as he heard the footsteps get louder and more rushed. He quickly locked the door, biting his bottom lip-- Normally this didn't happen. Normally he'd be able to get in and out quick enough seeing as he only rubbed the grime off himself, but no, of course, he had to have this ******** yellowblood with him.

However, Zindel wasn't completely dumb. There was a window to an area that required a little lifting. "Gimme a boost," The redblood said, staring at the window as if it was their only hope. He was too short to reach it...!

Where was Witikodad?! Had he been hurt? Oh no, this was turning into a horrific situation. Afryse stared at the water pouring from the facet, feeling deeply conflicted. On one hand he wanted water so badly, so very badly, but... But they were clearly in danger. The steam from the water felt heavenly. Oh god, HOT water was just the ticket. It melted the ice and felt like heaven on his cold body. "H-huh?" Right, shut up. But. But. The water and. Afryse was confused, over stimulated by the sensations of water and desire. It was the snap of the ice that brought the ice troll to reality. That slice of sharp pain broke through his fantasy.

Yelping, he took his hand back and watched as Zindel continued to melt the ice off. Afryse felt relieved to be unshackled from that jackass. He was going to pay attention to the situation at hand, had the coolness of the water not brushed over his senses. A shudder ran along Afrye's body as he dived for the sing. His hands clumsily grabbed the lip as his head plunged straight into the basin, mouth open and gasping as water surged down his throat. He choked and swallowed desperately. Oh this was amazing, this was heaven. Zindel's voice and the heavy thumping on the stairs reminded him that danger was close and relluctantly the wet headed child pulled his head from the sink.

He dodged to the window and bent down. Cupping his hands together to give Zindel a foothold to stand, he looked up and gave him a firm nod. When the redblood moved in he pushed up with a grunt and hoisted him to the window.

"Okay!" He hissed, "When you're out turn around and grab my hands!"

Zindel wanted to shake the yellowblood for stopping to take a sip of water from the sink. He could've shown him a good place to drink water later! This guy was taking a large risk! Thankfully he pulled his head out of there and finally gave him the boost, Zindel letting out a small grunt as he pulled himself up onto the window's ledge in a rush. Turning around, Zindel stretched out his hand to reach for him before the door handle started moving around erratically. Heart pumping, in those few moments, Zindel made the choice of his life— Risk his life trying to save this guy, or run away, completely safe from harm.

      There was no question.

Zindel pulled his hand away last second and quickly closed the window when the door slammed open with a kick.

Arcett Pecion, a hefty dark blueblooded teen with her hair pulled into a braid and a large bottom lip strode into the room, eyes landing on the yellowblooded troll with narrowed eyes. A loud snarl ripped from her throat when she stared at Afryse, reaching out toward him and grabbing the young kid by the collar. "What the <********> is a pissblood doing in my hive?!" She growled, then shoved him to the floor. "Were you stealing my s**t, you thieving mongrel?!" The highblood was blue from anger, pupils small, body practically shaking. Giving the yellowblood a hard kick in the side with her steel toed boot, she continued to kick him hard, eyes burning with malice. "I should just kill you now, you dumb ********> Insults streamed from her mouth like a waterfall, growing more and more colorful with each passing moment. The more she cursed, the more anger seeped into her bones and fueled her deep rooted hatred for lowbloods. She lifted the troll from his hair and punched him hard in the cheek, eyes blinded by rage while she kept at it, punching at him in various places.

When she was sure he was injured enough and felt her anger slowly fade, she trudged through her hive until she reached her lawnring, walking a bit further and shoving him out the door. "Don't you ever ********' go through that door again, ******** pissblood! Remember me!" She snarled, jutting a finger at herself while her eyes gleamed with malice. "If I ever see you again, it'll be too ********' soon, s**t for brains. Now get the hell out of my lawnring!"

Afyrse felt better. No longer as dehydrated. A little more calm. And now, a way to escape and leave the city. Zindel tumbled out the window, and before Afryse could reach out, it slammed shut. Dumbly, the yellowblood stared at sheet of glass. It just wouldn't process, not at first. His first thought was that it accidentally closed, but when Afryse stepped closer, seconds before the door was kicked in, he saw that Zindel was gone.

He left me.

Sickening dread crashed across the yellowblood's frame. This could not be happening. Screaming, he tried to escape from around the blueblood, but she was stronger, faster. His throat was grabbed and then... Things got funny. Hazy. Pain blossoming here and there, in vivid sharp pokes through the haze of the event. Soon enough, he was outside.

Bruises covered his body, blood tasted in his mouth. Afryse curled up and sobbed aloud, head in hands. How stupid could he have been? Of course Zindel would abandon him. Usually calm and cool, Afryse lost it all and acted like a child for once. From the shadows lumbered a loud, crackling wind sound. It groaned over the small child, Nutara.

Afryse was't sure why, but he was more afraid with Witikodad than when he was in the Hive. How could I have been so stupid? Trust no one.
