Ayane slowly unbuttoned her sweater as she entered the maul, moving to the appointed meeting place she had sent to Rosy and Lute. She assumed Rosy would let her boilfriend know where they would be meeting - as well as the other friends Rosy had mentioned wanting to bring. As long as they did not take forever to get there, she was fine with them tagging along. But she had promised Rosy that she would teach the other ghoul how to act in a formal situation, and since she was a friend of Lute's... Well she had to help her.

The Oni ghoul had decided to stick with the outfit she had worn on her earlier play-date with Lute, mainly because she was fond of it but mostly because she was too lazy to put together another outfit. Besides, it worked well enough in the colder weather as they neared the end of the year. Wearing her kimono would have been an exercise in freezing her rear off.

Once she reached the food court, she took over a table, and started to hash out what stores they would need to visit and what ones they could avoid. She really didn't have a preference one way or the other, but if they were going to end up buying things for Rosy, then her boilfriend had better have the seeds ready because she was going to go and spend as little as she could on Rosy. Mainly because it was her boilfriend's job to keep her in clothing after all.

Settling in, she waited for the others to arrive, nervous because she felt like she really should have just gotten Lute and came over with her. But she'd needed time to plan and she couldn't do that with Lute because when Lute was around her mind only focused on teh ghoul and nothing else. So she was going to use this alone time to make sure they had a pretty of places to visit for Rosy.

Lute wasn't sure about all of this, there was going to be such a crowd at the maul already and now there was going to be more than Ayane and Rosy. So many creeple. It took the shy ghoul a good few minutes before she was brave enough to leave her dorm and head out to the maul. Dawning an outfit a little more dressy because she remembered Ayane wanted to teach Rosy how to be formal.

Plus she had an excuse now to wear the bowtie belt she had made and that made her super happy.

Beaming she entered the food court, peering sheepishly around until rosy orbs landed on her ghoulfriend. Blushing a touch at the cheeks Lute approach, smoothing the bowtie ends out as she went. A soft call was likely lost to the noise of the area as she approached, "h-hello.."

Rosy wasn't sure what Ayane meant by formal, as for her it meant prom gowns. So she dress in what she figured would work for this outing. It was strange, meeting someone face to face when she been playing a MMO on the PreCee with them so long. Pushing a few curls behind her her ears, she floats through the doors as she pulls of her eyePhone and sends a message off to a couple creeple.

Text to Zel
Hey I'm at the maul, you need to hurry up boil.

Text to Xyra
Hey I'm at the maul, can't wait to meet you!

Text to Sexy
Hey sexy, I'm in the maul....sure we can't put this off?

Slipping her eyePhone back into her purse, she chews on her lip as she makes her way to the food court. She was nervous on so many counts. One she just been told by Spinar he wanted to take her back to meet his parents, and two...

She had to be formal.

How was she suppose to do that?!

With a mental sigh to herself, she was really thinking asking her brother to make her something was a good idea. Only, after the fight, she been avoiding him for the most part now.

Spotting a familiar ghoul with pink hair, she tilts her head towards the taller ghoul. Was this Ayane? It had to be her, as she was the one she met from the class.

"Hey Lute...Ayane..." she gives them both a small wave as she float up towards them, only to place her boots on the ground the moment she came to a stop just a few inches away.

~~~~~
Xyra glance at her eyePhone, frowning as she grabs her purse before checking over her attire in the mirror. She like how she looked, and it would pass in her father's eyes, minus a few things. That didn't matter though, because he wasn't here. Grabbing her dorm key, she slips out of her room before she makes her way down the hall. Her tail brushing the ground behind her as she moves out of the building.
She was honestly excited to be meeting Rosy, given they played together a few times, and had a few classes. The only thing that confused her was why she had to dress formal, but she didn't ask questions. Shaking her head as she tries to fix a couple purple curls as they slipped into her face, she moves through the maul doors as they pull apart. Her gold eyes taking in the crowds of creeples before she pulls out her eyePhone again.
Food Court...
Making her way to the food court, she pauses as she glance around, pausing as she looks towards the three ghouls.
She didn't move, because she honestly wasn't sure if she was in the right place. So instead she would wait to see if someone would spot her, or if she come early and had to wait.
Ayane was able to hear the clip-clop of Lute's hooves on the tile of the food court floor, which thankfully clued her in to listening more attentively for her ghoulfriend. She lifted her head when she thought she heard her speak, smiling at her as she motioned her to come closer.
"Come here, screechie," She smirked at the other ghoul. "You know I don't bite unless you want me to." Perhaps she was teasing the other a bit more than usual, but she was trying to help Lute get used to being around others.
That being said, she did reach out and take the other ghoul's hand and playfully nibble the tip of her index finger. "Grrr, you are so cute I could eat you up..." She giggled, before her attention was diverted by the arrival or Rosy. Turning her gaze, she looked the ghoul over and sighed gently.
"... We have a lot of work to do," She stated matter-of-factly. To be fair, the ghoul hadn't done a bad job of making herself presentable. Granted, they were at the maul and some comfort was required. Though, she could have done better with the pants - maybe worn a skirt and some leggings or something... more... dressy. But she'd work on that.
"So where are the rest of your friends? We really don't have all day..." It wasn't that she was impatient to get things done and over with - there was just a lot they needed to see and she still had some studying she needed to do.
Plus she wanted to surprise Lute with dinner at someplace nice and quiet later but she had a feeling they were all going to end up stuck at the same place.
***
Zel scrubbed his face in the bathroom mirror as he groaned deeply, trying his best to get the circles under his eyes to be less prominent. He hadn't been sleeping well at all these last few nights and it was starting to tell. Rosy's text, while appreciated, had almost been replied to with a rain check request before he'd finally decided he was going to go out - have some fun with friends - and actually do something... well... sociable for a change.
Running his fingers through his hair to muss it up a bit, he moved out into his room and pulled his tunic over his head. He really didn't have any different kinds of clothes than the traditional garb of his people - but he didn't care much. Scratching his Demon-Cat Norris on the head as he headed out he smirked.
"Don't throw any wild parties..."
Closing the door to his dorm behind him, he locked it and made his way to the maul. The cold air felt nice against his freshly washed face - and it gave him less to worry and fret about. After all - now he knew for certain that everyone was going to be dressed nice and bulky and he wouldn't have to worry about Xyra thinking he was being more of a stuck up, womanizing jerk than she already did. Moving to the door of the maul, he entered and looked around. Rosy had said to meet him at the food court, so that was the way he was going to go. As he neared the food court her froze.
What were the odds? Having taken an almost identical path as Xyra, he had stumbled upon the purple haired demoness as he approached the table containing Rosy, Lute and another ghoul he didn't recognize. Shaking his head he felt his heart skip a bit as he looked Xyra over.
She looked amazing. She was dressed formal-casual and to be honest he just wanted to pull her into his arms and...
No, now was not the time for such thoughts - tempting and sweet as they were. He was not allowed to have such thoughts because Xyra was not... his to think of in that way.
Bad Zel, bad, no biscuit.
Being honest with himself, he had not been expecting to meet Xyra. At least not today - not when he was supposed to be meeting... a ghoul that was a friend. It had been a possiblity, but he'd been hoping their next... interaction would involve him looking less like a hot mess than he currently did. Shaking his head, he put on his best smile - admittedly still haggard and hag-ridden looking - and made his way over to Xyra, gently placing a hand on her lower back, just above her tail he chuckled, knowing he could easily lose the arm if she chose - but risking it to appear personable.
"Xyra, it's great to see you again," he said plainly, truthfully. "Here, let me introduce you to a few friends of mine..." He smiles, guiding her over to the table where he'd spotted Rosy and Lute. From there, he would make introductions - he just hoped she didn't mess him up and run off...
Lute giggled as Ayane teased her, red as ever but slowly getting use to the things her ghoulfriend done. They had been dating for a few days now, and friends for months so it was rather easy to transition aside from the fact that she still couldn't believe that she could kiss her now. Kissing was nice, Lute really enjoyed it, though didn't think she was the best at it yet. Gently pulling her fingers back she swatted softly at the Oni's arm and turned to smile at Rosy. Nose twitching a little in delight, it was good to see the other ghoul, she hadn't in sometime.
"Hello-o Rosy...It's good to see you." Pink orbs trailed away for a moment from the other ghoul, eye contact wasn't her thing. Luckily however when she did look off a tall unmistakable boil was located in the crowd, with an unfamiliar ghoul. "O-oh look...it's Zel.." She lifted her hand about half way for a sheepish little wave in their direction, had they not been paying attention though it would be lost.
_________________________________________________________
He wasn't entirely sure why his presence was needed aside from silver seeds but was on his way to the meeting spot. A sliver of hope that he could escape after giving over his card held, that or be allowed to wander off as the ghouls shopped. Because as humorous as it would be to watch Rosy be formal, he didn't want to think about the visit home. That was going to be anything but humorous .
Spotting the text he pushed into the maul doors and pocketed his phone back without texting back. There wasn't a need after all as he could see Rosy surrounded at one of the food court tables. Skillfully the frost demon went around and came up behind them. A charming wink delivered to the tall Oni whom he knew from game to be Ayane, she wasn't bad on the eyes had he had thought, then a glance was given to the petite little pink monster at her side.
Interesting.
Chilly hands slide around Rosy and his chin landed on her shoulder after dragging her down from the floating position she had taken up. "Hello, ghouls, ready to spend all my money?"
Xyra went still the moment she felt a warm hand on her back. She didn't have to look back, she knew that voice anywhere. Frowning a little she turns her eyes towards Zel before she takes a step away from him. Her hand balling up at her side, but she tried to her best play nice at the moment. Moving with him, she nods to the ghouls, her eyes falling to the other boil that wrapped his arms around the ghost girl. She kept quiet, more curious as to how a ghost ghoul got a demon boil. One this was for sure, she was learning more then what she thought from attending Amity.
Crossing her arms under her chest, she blinks at the comment from the demon boil. She couldn't help but smile for a brief moment before glancing towards Zel "So how do you know these creeples?" she was curious more then ever as she figured he didn't know that many other students.
-----
Rosy frowns at Ayane comment, about to say something when she felt arms wrap around her. Relaxing, she didn't have to say anything as she turned into Spinar. Wrapping her arms around his waist, she hides her face against his shirt for a brief moment before a small chuckle slips from her lips "You do realize that you just gave these ghouls permission to spend as much as they want?" she still didn't understand why they needed to help her find formal clothes, she could do it herself.
But then, she did make the mistake of asking.
Glancing back, she tilts her head as she spots Zel and another demon ghoul. Her eyes following Zel for a brief moment, and the way her looked her over. Smirking, she leans up and brush her lips against Spinar's neck before she spoke against his ear so only he can hear her "You don't think that the ghoul...Zel is head over heels in love with...do you?" she nods with her head before she chuckle.
If she was, she understand why.
Ayane bows her head to the boil she could only guess was Siku, when Zel and the other Ghoul walked up. Ah, these must be her other friends. She slowly stood, looking at Siku for a moment she smirked.
"I'm always ready to spend someone else's money. Besides, you and the other pack-mule here are on bag duty." She motioned to both him and Zel. "Us ghouls are going to shop and you will be proper gentlemen and wait patiently for us and sit with the bags."
She smiled and held her hand out. "It shouldn't be too costly. Rosy actually does a really good job of being presentable."
She had to admit, the ghoul had a decent head for style. She might have been rough on her earlier, but that was only because she knew that if Siku's parents were the usual types of Demons, she as going to be under a microscope when she went up there.
---
Zel chuckled softly to Xyra, nodding his head to Lute and Rosy when they got there. He pointed to Each in turn as he introduced them.
"Xyra, this is Rosy, Siku, Lute, and... Ayane I believe." He said, leaving the Oni ghoul for last since they had never officially met.
"Everyone, this is Xyra, she's an old friend from back home who just came to Amity." To those he'd talked to her about they'd know instantly who she was. To those he hadn't now they had context.
"I've gone to classes with Rosy and Siku before, they're pretty good friends of mine.. Lute and I do a book swap every so often... speaking of which I need to return that last one you loaned me, don't let me forget!" He reached out and ruffled the saytr's hair, earning him a cold glare from Ayane for a moment.
"I haven't met Ayane in person yet... but she plays the same game you and I do Xy..." He chuckles.
He really hoped Xyra wouldn't try to bolt and duck out. He hadn't been expecting her but here was hoping that things went smoothly.
When Rosy coiled around him a small snort sounded, he didn't really care how much they spent to be honest. It wasn't his money and well lets be honest he loved making father pay anyway he could. Daddy issues. With a wink down all that was offered to the comment was a teasing, "well, as long as they make you look fabulous, why not treat them?" Besides Spinar didn't work without benefiting himself, so he expected no less of others.
Or rather no better.
Which why was he wasn't to sore about being the 'pack-mule' for the day, after all he got a formal Rosy and payback. Spinar's eyes flickered up at the mention of Zel, a smirk parting thin blue lips as the pair approached. Icey orbs flickered over the demon with the other boil, admiring admittingly since she was a rather fetching looking demon but they didn't linger long enough to catch a scolding for. As Rosy leaned into him and whispered he chuckled and shook his head. Replying in a tone that would make the lot of the group curious, just because he could, "never know.." Zel had weird taste as it was, and Spinar couldn't keep track of who this boil dated, kind of funny and a little irritating since the boil was a bookworm.
Grinning a chilly hand went out and handed over his card to Ayane, giving a dramatic groan just to make them feel like they had really hurt him. Ghouls got off on power right? "Nice to meet you Xyra, I'm terribly sorry you've had to be friends with this creature for so long." He jabbed just a little at Zel, because its what he does.
---
Lute felt like she was swimming in a sea of demons, a very uncomfortable feeling as she couldn't help but feel judged. Especially with the way the blue demon boil had looked at her. Yes, she noticed that glance, she noticed everything. Tucking a little into Ayane a small smile was given to the ghoul Zel introduced, cheeks going a touch rosy with a nod.
"Ah..yes, I'll be-e sure to remind you." Truth be told with everything that had happened recently with Ayane, Lute herself had forgotten about it. Otherwise she would have been all over the boil. Books were one thing that Lute didn't get shy about asking for. It was her responsibility after all.
Rosy looks to Spinar arching a brow before she smiles just for him "I'm already fabulous...I just need a small touch up." honestly she was glad he was going to be there with her even if it was to carry bags. Pulling slightly away, she slips her hand into his before she relax. Her eyes glancing over each creeple there for a brief moment. It was only then did she realize she and Lute were the outsiders.
They were all demons....
How did she end up with demons as friends...?
Shaking her head, she gives a small smile to lute before she mouths "Are you okay?" at her. If she knew anything, she knew how it felt to be uncomfortable, as it happened to her alot in the beginning.
Turning her eyes to Ayane, she grins before nodding "So...how does one...dress forming when she visiting her significant others parents?" she wasn't sure what else to call herself, so she just left it that way. Her red eyes glancing towards Spinar to see if she was right or if she should have said something else.
-----
Xyra remained quiet as she watch the brief exchange between those who knew each other. Her gold eyes turning towards the frost demon before she smiles to him "Please to meet you finally...Siku?" she was hoping she got the name correct. Turning her eyes toward Zel, she frowns before she looks back to the demon.
A smile slipping over her lips.
"I'm sorry to, but I guess I will have to deal...he doesn't seem to want to leave me be." yes it was a smack at him, but in her eyes, he deserved it. With a chuckle, she arches a brow before she looks to Siku "Oh...um....how formal is your family Siku?" she was asking because it might help them figure out which stores to avoid.
Though she couldn't help but wonder if they knew he was bringing home a Ghost.
Ayane took the card, slipping it into her purse slowly, making sure Siku would see where she put it so he wouldn't accuse her of trying to steal it. She had also seen the look Siku had given Lute, and when the ghoul shrank into her, she wrapped an arm around her protectively and smiled at Siku.
"Well, Rosy, I'd probably put you into a formal kimono... but I think you're going to need range of motion, and I don't think it'd really fit your... style." She eyed the ghoul for a moment.
"We'll probably want to keep it to dresses... At the LEAST a skirt... but that'll be pushing it..."
When Xyra asked Siku how formal his family was she quirked her head. "Yes... that is actually vital information."
---
Zel hid a wince, but to be honest the ribbing was well earned. He hoped that soon he could get back on better terms with Xyra, but for now he'd suck it up and just keep the faith.
He gave Lute a small smile. He honestly felt bad for the shy little monster. She was practically drowning in Demons and that was intimidating in its own right.
He flashed her a thumbs up, letting her know it was all going to be okay. Otherwise he remained silent, waiting to be directed in his pack-mule ship.
