The Reaver grinned when he saw the familiar challenger approach. This was going to be another fun fight for him, as he knew that this guy had even more reason to give it his all. He nodded his head in greeting, feeling a small feel of honor as well. It was always good to meet a determined lion, and he knew that this one would go far, once he managed to get into the pride.

Not that Ulfric would hold back: he was not the type. He grinned, watching the other circle, and moved forward to start the fight, taking a swipe with his paw to get the ball rolling.

He bore in mind now that he did not want to injure the other permanently, so that he might come back and challenge again. That did not mean much, in the scheme of how hard he fought: he was just not going to aim to destroy anything important.

"You are providing me with a challenge! I am well pleased with these fights!"

Ulfric could not help but laugh as he moved to get out of the way of Rokh's attack. He felt the claws slash across his front leg. He did not think about it at that time, circling about to follow the movements of his opponent, but when he put weight on his leg he felt pain moving down it.

The cut was deeper than he would have thought, but that just made him grin as he growled.

He charged forward again, lowering his head to use it as a battering ram and tackle Rokh with most of his weight behind it.

Ulfric was a born fighter, and he was having way too much fun with this particular set of battles. He was determined to win, if only to see if Rokh would keep challenging him, or if he perhaps went to find someone else.

Or gave up.

But something told Ulfric this guy was not going to give up.

Feeling claws taking tufts of fur and skin from his back, he growled and pulled back a bit, giving them both a bit of breathing room. He circled around, sizing the situation up. He was now bleeding in two places, which was not ideal. But the other looked winded and was struggling to get to his feet again.

Ulfric charged in, lowering his head again to tackle him one more time.

Ulfric managed to pull himself out of his charge when he saw he was going to miss completely, but it was not enough to avoid the slash. He was thankful it managed to not catch him as deeply as it was intended, but he managed to leap away and round about to watch the injured lion.

He grinned, though it was partly a snarl.

This had to be it. The last attack. He was bleeding now and he needed to have his wounds tended, so he did not end up with permanent injuries or scars. He was not openly vain, but his appearance did matter to him. While scars would make him look more battle hardened and ready, they also denoted weakness by him getting injured.

Digging his claws into the earth, he braced himself before he charged one more time. This was not a tackle, though, as he lifted his hefty paw to take a swing for Rokh's face.

Ulfric nodded his head, taking a few deep breaths. he had pushed himself harder than he would have thought, and he liked that. The other lion had gotten even closer to defeating him this time, and that was impressive enough. Ulfric did not like to lose, but he did like to earn his victories just as much as he liked to dominate.

He took one last deep breath and chuckled.

"You fought well this time. We will meet again: I want to see you join this pride. When you are ready, come find me. I will meet your challenge."

But first, he would need to go get his wounds tended, and have a bit of rest. He expended a lot of energy in that fight, and he would need a while resting.
