Personality: To most, Octobre seems to be lacking in any and all emotion. Composed and controlled as much as any one mare can be, Octobre is easily perceived as possessing a particularly cold character. But such things as "friendships" and the like are always far away from her mind, and so she sees no real consequence to her manners (which are always polite, albeit unfeeling). Instead, the mare's mind is normally otherwise occupied by her unique hobby...

At a young age Octobre acquired a certain appreciation for the wide varieties of blood the world has to offer (one can liken it to wine tasting). Said appreciation is something of a quest for world-wide sampling. Unfortunately for her, not everyone is willing to offer their blood up so freely, especially not for so strange a reason. (Octobre doesn't want enough to kill, however, only to taste.) In addition to this, Octobre's hobby is normally kept secret. This combination results in the mare trying various methods and ruses in order to obtain the samples she deems necessary for her mental records. In the past, she has struck deals with others in order to further her goal as well, letting others do the work while she reaps the rewards.

Lately, Octobre's hobby has warped into what she always feared it might become--an obsession. A simple secret has twisted into a hidden shame. As she continues to isolate herself, cutting out those who had become close to her, the mare has been swept up by her chaotic quest for the not-yet-been-tasted. Only time will tell if she can be saved from herself, or if her bloodlust will consume her completely...
