[FAM ORP] Bundles of Joy (Elsa + Family)

Aurik told them to behave, but they were, weren't they? At least to the extent that they weren't doing anything different from normal! And Blanka didn't see a reason not to be normal around his daddy- he was normal around mommy, after all!

Speaking of his mommy, he felt her pick him up, his body going limp as he was lifted off Jalidi and placed back on the ground. For a moment, he just looked up at his mother and pouted. "but he started it!" Huffed the young, spunky cub. He took his time pouting as he watched the others gather around their father with their varied reactions to him. Their dad looked happy to see them, if not a little confused.

Blanka also watched as his mommy moved forward and gave the lion a nuzzle. This was definitely their daddy! He hadn't seen her give anyone else, besides them of course, snuggles!

But now he wanted them, too.

It was never easy competing for attention, and he had a large family to try and make a name from! For a moment, he felt a bit of panic. If their daddy was there too, would he get more attention, or less?!

Springing forward, Blanka did the only sensible thing to do- he nommed on Elsa's tail to try and get her attention. "Mommy!" He whined, trying to get her attention.

Aurik didn't hesitate once given permission. He was a cub after all and for all his attempts to seem like an adult, he still had the energy and need for attention like his siblings. He near attack hugged Tikahn. "I have a daddy now." It was said softly as he snuggled against his dad. There was a very content smile on his face.

He looked over to see Blanka being scolded by their momma. It made him shake his head. "I told you so." His head tilted up in that superior manner he had.

The smirk he gave his brother didn't last long. There was so much he wanted to do and ask. Aurik was glad that his daddy was nice and momma seemed to really like him too. It made him hop all around with excitement. Now they could be a big family and could go out and do things together. "Daddy! Will you take us outside now that you're here to protect us?"

Mystral had made herself comfortable curled up against her father's side. Her blue and white pelt standing out against his. She realized that she had his pattern of markings, what appeared to almost be hills but she had her mother's colors. She was happy she had mommy's pretty blues, she was proud of her pelt.

She watched as her brother's all made fools of themselves clamouring for their parents attention. While she contently just sucked in her father's warmth at his side. She didn't need anyone to be talking to her or playing with her she was happy to just sit with her parents.

Elsa smiled and watched her cubs as they all reacted to each other and to their father. She knew it had to be difficult for them to understand, but she loved them so much and was so proud of them for how lovely they were. She could not help it, really, and she supposed that was just a part of being a mother.

She mostly ignored the arguing cubs, knowing they would settle down in due time. She instead nuzzled against Tikahn lovingly, closing her eyes as she gently leaned against him.

"I am happy you're here, and so are they. I love you. Maybe next time... you can be here when they're born... and we'll plan it a bit better."

She smiled at him sheepishly, looking away bashfully.

"But now, I think it is time for sleep, for all little cubs," she looked around at the little ones, slowly trying to get to her feet so she could herd them all to the very plush bed of furs she had gathered for them to sleep in. "And for tired parents, if they wanted."

At the mention of sleep, Jens sighed softly. He didn't want to sleep! He wanted to play! But he followed his mother dutifully over to the pile of furs that could have easily fit six adult lions. As it was, it comfortably fit him and all his siblings, as well as his mother with plenty of room for Tikahn. He curled up on his favorite pelt and tucked his nose under his tail, content to nap with his family. For now.

Vera nearly tripped over herself trying to join Jens, running over to the pelts and diving in to hide among them. She liked sleeping with a blanket over her as she felt more protected that way. She pressed up against her brother's side, falling asleep almost instantly. All this excitement exhausted her.

Tikahn returned the nuzzle and, as Elsa rose, he followed. He made sure not to step on any of the cubs as they darted over, smiling just a bit as he settled down. "This is a lovely bed," he murmured, resting his head on his paws to let his cubs lay where they wished. "You've done a wonderful job, Elsa," he added very softly, a loving look on his face. He still felt horrible that he hadn't been here to help her, but she obviously was a very caring and doting mother who attended to the needs of her cubs.

Mystral yawned sleepily, she knew she hadn't been awake too long, but a nap did sound wonderful. The little lioness trudge her way over to the pile of furs. Walking in circles on them until she found the best possible spot to curl up in, making herself a nice little nest.

She drifted quickly to sleep dreaming of the new lion she met that she would call dad.
