Appearance: Standing about 5'4 Meiling is a rather young and graceful young woman with pale blue eyes, white hair and slightly pale skin. She is rather attractive boasting her looks in many subtle ways but she enjoys looking nice and being noticed by people. She tends to wear red and lots of it, her sense of fashion easily distinguished as a mix of Chinese and Japanese influence. She appears to have a mixed ethnicity of Japanese and Chinese, her Japanese side seeming more noticeable.

Personality: Mei is a woman who tends to be very flirty towards men, this is actually due to her loneliness and desire to be loved. She can be very friendly and outgoing but she can also be pretty nasty if someone pushed her far enough. She tends to be very loyal to her friends as well as protective if they become threatened in any way. She enjoys reading and thus will always seek out new books to read. She dislikes using violence yet Digimon seem to be a method of violence that is not affected by this dislike.
Biography: A woman who has always been rather lonely due to her lack of social life. Meiling grew up in Kyoto in a family where her siblings just picked on her for her bad eye sight. While she thought it was just brotherly and sisterly jokes, it turns out it was more or less a way of coping with the fact Meiling was diagnosed with an illness that could kill her very early of life. While her parents loved her like there was no tomorrow, her siblings treated her cruel so if she did die they wouldn't feel bad for someone they did not care. She had been admitted to the hospital several times within a month as her constitution took a turn for the worst when she was nine years old causing great caution to be exercised until her 10th birthday where her eldest brother who shared the same birth date as her ran her to the hospital on her back after admitting a few weeks earlier that he never wanted to treat her so badly and that it was out of fear not distaste. It was a run that took both her and her brother over a distance of a kilometer to reach the hospital and to Mei this showed her that her brother really did care for her and the fact he never left her side showed it even more.
As the years wen by she continued to improve and get worse, until the final year of School came along and she had gone the entire year without incident. But by this time she had been home schooled as well as supplied with heaps of books making her a book worm and thus her dream became one of running a book store. Another sad fact was that she had no friends to speak to and as the years went by she simply resorted to flirting with men and with no success. One day she found an old Digimon Comic remembering how much she loved it. Then as she was closing she heard an odd sound and when she checked it out she was sucked into the digital world through a portal, and this is where her story begins.

First Encounter: When Meiling awoke in the digital world she found a small Digimon nest. When she looked around she was confronted by Coredramon who later entrusted it's Child Babydmon to her and they've been together ever since.
