Mama Ame That's how everyone else is about dishes. They'll leave their dirty dish (covered in food) right by the sink. Can we throw away the excess food in the trash? Nope! Can we rinse the dish so that the rest of the food/sauce/whatever isn't a caked on joy to scrub off? Nope! But my God if we find a piece of food in the sink. It's ALL MY FAULT.
It took my brother two weeks of being home alone to realize he should rinse his dishes after eating off them. It was actually a revelation for him.

Maybe one day they'll figure that out here.
