Reagan woke up with the most god awful headache that'd she had ever had. It was quite a ride she had that night. She had decided to go out and hunt, which was a pretty bad idea considering she figured a deer would be the best option unless she wanted to find a human to munch on. Which, she didn't, so, she went for the deer. But the deer was apparently smarter than she figured. She had trailed it for atleast four hours before finally being able to feed from the damn animal. Once she returned home, she was more tired than she wanted to be. So now, she had a harsh headache from doing that. 'Damn animals are stupid,' She thought, biting her lip lightly as he sat up from her bed. Oh lovely, there was blood all over her. A shower would be nice. So getting up, she walks into her bathroom and takes a quick shower. Once she got out, she changed into a simple black long-sleeved shirt, skinny jeans, and green high-top converse that matched her hair. And then last, she fixed up her hair. Her eyes stared at the mirror infront of her, studying her appearance. Like most folklore, she couldn't even see what she looked like in the mirror. It sucked, but she had somehow mastered putting on make up, putting in her lip piercing and so on. Of course, she was helped by her parents at first until she got a hang of it.

Licking over her pale lips, she finally applies on her red lipstick. It was sorta a trademark in a way. She almost always wore red lipstick. Reagan's attention turned to her small Siamese kitten that wondered its way into her room and then the bathroom. The pale girl drops to her knees, petting the kitten with a soft smile. After, she stands back up and walks out of the room, grabbing her messenger bag from the couch and she got a bagel from the fridge. Human food wasn't the best, but hey, she could live with it. "I'll see you later, Rija." She spoke to her kitten, petting it once more on the head before heading out of her house. Reagan preferred to walk herself, save the trip for both of her parents so they wouldn't have to take her and bring her back. She did have her license as well, but she was too lazy to drive, which was funny because many would prefer to drive than walk. And also the highschool was close by, which made it easier as well. She brings her pale hand up, pushing her hair aside and out of her eyes as she walks. Soon enough, she makes it to the highschool and walks in.

"Tristan!! Are you up yet?!" his mothers high pitched voice screamed, causing his head to shoot up from his computer desk. "I.. uh.. y-yeah! I'm up, I'm up!" he shouted back, pushing his hands through his brunette locks as he glanced around a bit. The poor boy had been up so late last night studying for a chemistry test that was today, first period. Empty coffee cups, papers, pencils and textbooks scattered his desk. The time on his clock read 7:37, and he let out a breath of relief. He wasn't running too late - still had enough time to grab a shower. And that was just what he did. Tristan slipped on a pair of black jeans and a plain white t-shirt that hung a little loose on his torso. He sighed as he looked at himself in the mirror. The shirt was a small and yet it still didn't fit him properly. Tristan was the kid who got picked on daily by the big dumb football players because of his size. His mother was always on his case, too, telling him to eat more and hit the weights.

He tried lifting a dumbbell once. Didn't end too well, unfortunately. He was in the schools weight room once - which was embarrassing enough with all the intimidating jocks surrounding him at the time - and thing weighed 50 lbs and he ended up dropping it on his foot and broke his big toe. Saddest, most embarrassing day of his life, that was. Tristan bit his lip slightly at the memory and shook his head dimly. He walked into the washroom and rubbed a small towel through his dark hair a few times and styled it with a few dabs of gel, slicking it up at the front like he usually did. It gave his hair a bit of shine but not enough to make it appear greasy.

After gathering his school supplies and stuffing them into his knapsack, he tossed a strap over his shoulder and exited his bedroom down the stairs. His mother was waiting for him with her arms folded under her chest and Tristan avoided her intense stare, knowing that she would notice the tiredness in his eyes. "You weren't up all night studying again, were you?" she asked. Jesus, how the hell did she even know? "N-No, of course not." he stammered, walking quickly past her into the kitchen. He heard his mother sigh as he grabbed his prepared lunch from the fridge - a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, an apple and a water bottle. He really only planned to eat the apple but to make his mother happy, he would also take the sandwich.

Tristan hurried out into the foyer where he quickly slipped on his black Vans and before his mother could accuse him of anything else, he yelled a short, "Love you!" And with that, he was on his way out the door. The brunette walked quickly along the sidewalk and seeing some of his peers drive past him in their flashy cars, he glowered with jealousy. Tristan had his license and all but being the overprotective woman his mother was, she forbid him to drive one. Which really only gave his already down-in-the-dirt social life a few good kicks to the gut. He soon averted his eyes and looked ahead of him.

Tristan managed to arrive at school with ten minutes to spare. He walked into his open classroom and greeted the teacher politely, like always, and sat down in his usual seat at one of the far corners. The room only had one other student who was taking the time to sleep, which Tristan found to be utterly stupid since they had a test in less than ten minutes. With a look of disapproval, he took out his study sheet, a notebook, and a pencil and began to go over the notes. He smiled, feeling very confident about this test.

Reagan wasn't the most social person either. For three main reasons. 1) She couldn't stand most humans. They annoyed her to no end. 2) She was afraid she'd possibly lash out and kill someone. And 3) She was intimidating. Which, was to be expected. Who wants to be friends with a girl who gives you a cold, dead stare everyday in class? Running a hand through her mossy green hair, she sighs softly and takes a couple of books from her locker. She shuts it back before walking forward, eyes shifting side to side at the other students who passed by her. The vampire didn't even mean to do it most days, it just seemed natural. Of course, she was curious. It wasn't like she knew humans right off the bat, but from what the highschool had to offer, they were ranging from self-centered and self-obsessed to quiet and reserved. She preferred the quiet ones over the loud ones, anyway. She never really like spoke to them, but she had enough patience to actually manage to be around them.

The faint noise of her Converse hitting the floor finally silenced as she stopped infront of the door. She hesitated at first, bringing her hand up and she knocks lightly. Soon enough, a teacher had opened the door for her, and from what Reagan gathered, most likely instantly regretted. Smiling at him deviously, she walks inside, starting up the ominous noise of her shoes. The girl places her books on her table before sitting down, kicking her feet up and placing them ontop of the desk. Her hands found their way behind her head, and she gives the teacher a smirk. "Oh, don't let me interrupt. Continue, please?"

And the teacher seemed reluctant, but had done as she said, going back to his teaching. It actually almost hurt her. The fact that she had to scare someone or intimidate them just to get by there at the highschool. She already disliked it there, and that had been her sixth school in six months. Alot someone can do if you allow them to do it.

The teacher, Mr. Raymond, was in the middle of a short review when a knock on the door silenced him. Tristan's gaze twitched over to the door as well and instantly recognized the girl. Reagan, her name was. She was branded 'the new girl' since she had only been attending the school for only a month or so. He eyed her from afar for a moment until she flashed that devilish smirk at Mr. Raymond, and that alone was enough to make him look away. Everyone feared Reagon, including some of the jocks in the school. She didn't look like most girls in the school with her mossy green hair and bright red lipstick. Her personality was something else, too. She was very intimidating and kept to herself all the time, she didn't even put in the effort to be social. If she wasn't so scary, Tristan just may have asked her to sit with him and his friend - now that he thought about it, his only friend - Dylan, at lunch.

Tristan shifted his eyes to the white board at the front of the class and continued to scribble notes. "Oh, don't let me interrupt. Continue, please?" He heard. The boy looked over to see Reagon with her feet kicked up onto the desk lazily and her hands behind her head, looking as comfortable as ever. Did she have any respect for Mr. Raymond or school property? With a look of hesitance, he soon turned back around and continued with the review, too afraid to tell her to get her feet off the desk. Tristan finally looked back over at the girl and hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Uh.. y-you should really be taking some notes... he's going to be testing us in a few minutes." he mentioned, suddenly regretting the fact that he opened his mouth at all. What would she do? Yell at him? Glare at him with those cold, icy blue eyes of hers? He didn't know if he would be able to take another person hating him.

The moss-green haired girl blinked once she heard a voice, glancing towards Tristan. She studied him for a moment, narrowing her eyes. He was literally the first person that had said something to her. Pointed out she had better start doing something. And somehow, it brought a smile to her red lips (although it turned out being more of a smirk). She cards her fingers through her hair, moving her feet off of the desk and she stretched. "Excuse me, what did you say?" Reagan asked. She moves closer to where he was, tilting her head to the side. Really, all she was trying to do, was scare him a bit.

She moves her hand up, letting out a soft laugh. "I should, shouldn't I? Too bad I don't feel like it. It's a real, pity, hm? Well, that's too bad." The vampire takes the notes he was writing and she read over it before winking at him. "You're just so sweet to even offer me your paper? Thank you, love." Turning her attention back forward, she places the paper she had taken onto her lap before raising her feet back up and placing them on the desk. The female wore a grin, her "rather pointy" teeth showing as she did. Of course, she only sort of regretted what she did, because the other seemed a bit nervous at first, but besides that, she could care less.

The green haired girl met his eyes and grinned the same grin she had given Mr. Raymond a moment ago and Tristan developed a lump in his throat. He blinked a few times and shifted away as she leaned forward. God, she could be intimidating! "I-I'm sorry, I just--" he stuttered quietly hoping not to disturb the others, though Reagan cut him off and said that she didn't want to take notes. Of course she wouldn't! He was an idiot for suggesting such a thing. Especially to someone like her! Oh, he was going to get it bad. Real bad. What would his mother say if he came home all bruised and battered? What would his excuse be? Well, he sure as hell couldn't tell her a girl beat him up. Suddenly, she snatched up his notes and he looked from his desk to hers. "Those are my notes!" he whisper-yelled, but she didn't care at all.

"Please, Reagan. I need them." he tried to explain, making an effort to his voice low as possible. He noticed her wicked grin and her rather sharp set of canines, though he didn't think anything of them. Ricky Gervais had similar vampire-looking teeth. Mr. Raymond looked back over his shoulder, obviously hearing the short quarrel. "Something wrong, Tristan?" the balding man questioned, looking from Reagan to Tristan. He honestly thought about telling on her but that would only give people new names to call him. 'Rat', 'snitch', 'teachers pet'. So, the brunette shook his head. "Uh.. no, sir." he replied. Mr. Raymond looked at the two warily for a few more seconds before turning around and continuing.

Reagan had kicked her feet back up onto the desk and resumed her laid back sitting position. The boy gave a sigh, figuring she wouldn't give them back even if he tried to ask her again. He took out another sheet of paper and started to write the note all over again, resting his jaw against his fist. Well, this was a first. Being bullied by a girl. One of the football players, Scott, who was sitting just a few seats behind Tristan took a piece of paper and crumpled it up and threw it at the back of his head. He tensed his jaw before rubbing the back of his head and sliding down in his seat a little, piercing blue eyes staring at the white board. There was no use in retaliating. Scott let out a short obnoxious laugh but was quickly quieted when Mr. Raymond shot him a glare.

When the teacher had asked Tristan if there was a problem, the girl glared towards the other teenager. It was sort of a warning glare. Naturally, she wouldn't do much but try to scare him to death, but if he would had ratted her out? Oh, that'd most likely gain her on his case. Her glare didn't cease until Tristan had finally replied, and that reply was a no. He'd best be glad he picked that. Licking over her lips to wet them, she turns her attention back forward again. As if she was never staring at him. She did glance over her shoulder occasionally at the boy, though, seeing him jot down notes again. Aw, he wasn't going to atleast try and get them? Though it was to be expected, she would say he was no fun. Her gaze turned from Tristan to the football player who had thrown paper at him. Narrowing her eyes, she shot daggers at him with her eyes before looking forward. She didn't plan to do much, but boy was she going to have a talk with that guy after class. Reagan wanted to be the only one who messed with the nervous boy. She moves her hand up, playing around with her piercing and her eyes shift forward. Even though she had told Tristan she didn't feel like writing anything, she still had wrote a couple words down. What? She cared about her grade too.

Humming a soft tune, she moves her hand from her piercing to her hair, playing around with the moss-green locks. Her eyes shift towards Tristan again before she thinks. He was fun to mess with so far. Maybe she should take his notes again? Or take his pencil so he wouldn't be able to write them? Maybe fake something and blame it on him? Her head tilts to the side a bit as she gets lost in thought, basically staring right at Tristan.

He sat there, butt practically hanging off the edge of the seat and legs sprawled out in front of him as his pencil worked quickly against paper. He was really trying to copy the note as fast as he possibly could before the teacher could erase anything. God, he was definitely not looking forward to the next few months. With Reagan sitting next to him and Scott and his buddies sitting behind him... his notes were probably going to be stolen on a daily basis and he was going to have a hair full of school supplies come Christmas break. He really hoped that Mr. Raymond would clue in and change the seating plan. Tristan's gaze twitched from his paper to the white board and soon, he was caught up to the rest of the class.

He shook his hand out a little bit and pushed it through his slightly untamed hair, resting his pencil on his desk since Mr. Raymond was taking the time to explain what he wrote. Tristan laced his fingers across his flat abdomen and listened to what he had to say, clearly intrigued. He always had a real knack for chemistry. For anything science related, at that. As of now, Mr. Raymond was covering Organic Chemistry and the difference between Alkynes, Alkenes, and Alkanes. He was listening attentively when out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Reagan staring right at him. Tristan shifted uncomfortably in his seat and after a while, peered over at the green haired girl nervously. "What? Would you like my pencil, too?" he accused, spitting the question out in annoyance. Tristan waggled his pencil before dropping it back down on the desk.

What was her deal? Tristan pressed his lips together before turning his attention back to the white board, folding his skinny pale arms across his chest. He hated that he was such an easy target for people. All throughout elementary school, he was never bullied. Never. Tristan was a tall fella, always had been. 6'2". If he bulked up just a little bit, he would be every girls dream. He had the eyes, the cute face, the adorable dorky personality. The only thing he lacked was muscle, which was really the only thing that all girls in this school cared about. Muscle and athletics, two things that he hardly cared about. While most guys played sports, Tristan sat at home either playing his guitar, gaming, or studying. He was just your average nerd.

Reagan looked rather surprised after he spoke, basically asking her if she'd like his pencil. Biting her lip as she thinks of a reply, she simply ends up rolling her eyes. Her hand retreated up, cupping her cheek boredly as she listened to the teacher do his job teaching. Her other hand ran through her hair, idly playing with it still. Reagan herself wasn't a huge person when it came to socialization, which stated before, it was mostly because she as intimidating. Who wants to be friends with someone who scares you? But, she didn't let it bug her too much. She could honestly care less. I mean, she could admit that a conversation with someone here and there was nice, but the rest of the time? No, she wanted to be left alone. She thought over what Tristan said before her eyes shift over and she grabs the pencil from where it sat on the desk. "Wonderful idea." All she was trying to do now was push his buttons, and oh golly, did she hope he found out. He was fun to annoy already.

The vampire hums mockingly as she tucks the pencil neatly into her hair and over her ear so it would stay and not fall out of her hair. She taps her nails against the desk, flashing Tristan an innocent smile before she looked forward again, returning back to her relaxed position, arms held above her head in a stretch. She laid back against the chair, grumbling something about how the seats were uncomfortable and how she hated the class. She runs her hands down her arms, soon crossing them below her chest, over her stomach. Her eyes glared towards the teacher as he taught, letting out another complaint about how he should have hurried up the class.

The corner of his mouth jeered up into a small smirk as he continued to listen to the teachers lecture. Good, not only had she shut up but she also averted her eyes. Tristan found that his eyes were getting heavy from the lack of sleep he had the night before. The boy stretched and flexed his legs underneath the table and stifled a yawn. God, he was tired. He was never one to fall asleep in class, especially right before a test that could determine whether he made honour role. Suddenly, Reagan snatched up his pencil and his head fell back in annoyance. He looked over his shoulder to see her tuck it behind her ear. "Are we back in grade three, now?" he asked rhetorically, his tone dull. With a roll of his eyes and a shake of his head, Tristan returned his gaze to Mr. Raymond and stiffened his arms across his chest.

After another minute, the lesson was finished and the teacher told them to put their notes away and to take out a pencil or pen to write the test. Tristan sat up in his seat properly. After putting his notes away, he looked over at Reagan. "Give me my pencil back, Reagan. I need it." He spoke in a normal volume since everyone had started talking again as Mr. Raymond gathered the papers. He held out a hand, expecting her to drop the pencil into his palm. Tristan locked his blue eyes with hers, only this time he showed no signs of reluctance. If she was trying to push his buttons, she was doing a fantastic job; he could feel his temperature slowly rising.

The girl made sure to pay extra attention as the teacher finally finished the lesson and said to get something to write with. The corner of her lips quirked into a smirk and she looked towards Tristan once he had asked for his pencil back. "Pencil? What pencil?" Reagan asked innocently, moving the pencil from its place in her hair and she lowered it to her lap, holding her hands over the pencil to pretend she didn't have it. "I didn't take a pencil." She said, keeping up the act. She had also raised her voice, possibly trying to get Tristan in trouble for talking to her. Her eyes seemed to glint a bit, basically giving a warning sign. Of course, for some other person with instincts like hers, it would be a warning for them to choose wisely over what they did. And Tristan was getting on her nerves. Ugh, what a killjoy.

The girl seemed to give a bored yawn. "Don't you know to not pick a fight with a girl? It's horribly rude. And trust me, you wouldn't win." Reagan once again showed off her pointy teeth to him, her eyes seeming to change color, and into a more icy color (that you would see on a Husky dog), and they had once again glinted, giving the same warning look again.

The volume of her voice had raised as if she was trying to get him in trouble. The boy pressed his lips into a firm line across his face as his gaze twitched to Mr. Raymond, who at the moment was walking around the opposite side of the classroom handing out the tests. He saw how she took her pencil out of her hair and clasped it in her hands on her lap, hiding it from his vision. Reagan accused him of picking a fight... and then she got very passive aggressive which made him swallow. Her eyes had faded into a beautiful pale blue and her pupils had contracted, pointy fangs bared. Honestly, he nearly pissed himself. His face drained of colour had fright written all over it. "Y-yeah, of course.. um..." he stuttered, averting his eyes quickly. Were his eyes playing tricks on him? She almost resembled a... no, that would be impossible.

With his shoulders suddenly stiff, Tristan turned back around in his seat and leaned across the desk, tapping Jodie's shoulder. He had never really spoken to the girl, but she seemed nice enough to bother. The blonde haired girl turned a little to look at him with eyebrows raised questioningly. "Can I borrow a pencil? Please?" he asked. "Sure." she replied, fishing out her pencil case from her bag. After a few seconds, she pulled out a sharpened pencil and handed it to him just as the teacher had began to make his way down their row of desks. Mr. Raymond put the paper on his desk and scribbled his name onto it first. God, that was scary. He couldn't get the image of her face out of his head. Her teeth, the way her eyes changed colour... it all just seemed so unreal.

The girl blinked once he had seemed to show a scared expression. She blinks quickly, and even though his being frightened amused her, she made sure her eyes went back to their original color rather quickly, looking away from the other. She fell silent, not saying a word. At the next thing Tristan did, Reagan let out a loud groan once the other girl had actually allowed him to borrow a pencil. There went her fun. Still, she kept the writing utensil that belonged to him, placing it back over her ear. Her eyes shifted, looking up towards Mr. Raymond who handed her a test paper. She gives him a mocking smile before pressing the paper against the desk. Slowly, she began to write her name, the date, etc., etc.

As the time passed, Reagan couldn't help but be a tiny bit nervous. What if he had began to question her? Question how her eyes changed colors? And her teeth? She could just explain that they'd always been that way. Biting her lip, she licks over them before tapping her pencil nervously against the desk, thinking way too much on the matter. Once they were allowed to start, she closes her eyes, thinking for a moment before she had actually began to start it, jotting down a few words and then letters for the multiple choice questions. When she would stop to think, she'd idly tap the eraser of her pencil against her cheek, puckering up her lips a bit idly. Sighing, she began to write once more before flipping over the paper, sitting her pencil ontop of it. Then, she turned her attention at Tristan. He was still working. Grinning, she took his pencil that she had and flung it right at him.

Tristan did his very best to push the image out of his mind and focus on the test in front of him. He took time with each and every question, even the multiple choice. There were one or two that stumped him for a moment and he squinted his eyes thoughtfully, tapping the eraser nervously against like Reagan was. Just then, he felt something hit his shoulder and he quickly looked over to see his pencil drop to the floor. "You're welcome.." he muttered, leaning down to pick it up. Tristan placed it on the corner of his desk for now and went back to his test. After a short while, he had successfully completed the test and with a soft smirk, he read it over. Perfect. He had answered every question to the best of his ability - which always far exceeded Mr. Raymond's expectations - and with a smile, he turned the paper over.

He noticed that Jodie had also finished the test so he leaned over and tapped her on the shoulder with the pencil, giving it back with a quiet thank you. The only sounds in the room were that of pencils and pens against paper along with the nervous tapping of feet. The brunette folded his arms across his chest and leaned back into his seat, ankles crossed under Jodie's chair. Eventually, his thoughts trailed back to the way Reagan had looked at him earlier. The colour of her eyes had changed so quickly, and those vampire-like teeth were just terrifying. But there were no such thing as vampires, right? They were just mythical creatures, fictional beings that were only shown in films and novels like Twilight and Dracula. Tristan chewed on his lip as he thought. He clenched and unclenched his jaw as he zoned out, palms moistening with sweat.
