Edana needed this, she definitely needed this. A trip to the beach was exactly the thing to recharge her. Even with Care's help, and Meep's flailing, four small children were... a lot... to deal with. Not that she didn't adore them, she just wished she'd had the opportunity to space them a bit further apart. Just getting them around was a great effort. Luckily, since they'd been able to walk, that hadn't been much of an issue. Keeping them from scattering like excitable puppies? That was another thing entirely. Though Meep seemed to think that he was a herding mantis shrimp sometimes.
Still, they seemed happy about taking a trip, especially with Care, and threats to turn around were effective in keeping them in line when they got too rambunctious. Even then it was difficult to keep them from running too far ahead, she could only be grateful that she could fly faster than they were capable of moving. Hopefully by the time that wasn't the case they'd be a bit more settled. Hopefully. But in spite of all the anxiety she felt having to keep them in line, she wouldn't be willing to give them up for anything. A bit of a smile crossed her face as they walked. They were going to have a good time, she knew that much.

Care couldn't help but let out a yawn and stretch slightly as they walked, the bag of supplies for the day swung from side to side. "We'll be there soon enough." Sure, a trip to the beach was a good idea but the island was huge, and corralling four small children was hard enough on a good day. The fact they had to leave pretty early went over like a ton of bricks with the kids, but now they were awake in nature meant there was trouble to be had. She could of swore the four had a bet to see who would be the most trouble on the trip. Kids.
Care's eyes drifted over their lot of tots. Aelis and Fiammetta, her and Edana's two little girls. The shock that had followed when Edana had bumped into her in town and explained the situation after the party. Care had a hard time getting over what was the most surprising new, the fact that she was a mother or the fact she had fathered two of them. It wasn't that she didn't love them, it was just more of a huge surprised and a unique way of becoming a mother-father really.
Then there was Calum and Cascade. Edana's children for sure, but they weren't her own. It just added more to the mystery of how THAT happened, and the fact their father was still at large. Sure, when they were about in the city getting supplies they looked. From the tots and what Edana had told her, he was white and teal mostly. They had no luck for the moment, whoever this guy was he had disappeared afterwards. Care made a slight face, having another pair of hands to help with the four would have been amazing right now.
"So what's the attack plan when we do get to the water?", Care asked Edana. "It's going to be hard to make them sit still with the water near by."
