Down the trap door is a dark descent. Luckily the fall only lasts a few moments, as you land on the ground with a soft thud. The tunnel is dark, but Danny ignites a few fireballs that act as torches along the way.
Eventually the tunnel opens up into a huge cave, bowl shaped and oddly beautiful. Torches line the walls, rendering Danny's fire completely unneeded, as they do more than enough in terms of lighting. In the center of the underground cavern sits a pool, created by a waterfall that descends from the ceiling. Besides the pool you can see a few various objects, such as a mirror with an ornate, archaic trim, a long tapestry along one of the walls depicting reddish colored fish in a stream, and a statue of a heroic figure, whos face has long since been marred and brushed away by time, but who's stormcloud shaped scar still remains prominent on their forehead.
Around the pool is a set of stalagmites, which stand like tall pillars, almost like guards to the pool. However, they are few and far between, which makes the pool easily accessible.
The scene is idyllic, peaceful, and yet also somewhat somber. A wash of blue bathes the area in something sad, a feeling of time long since passed. For a moment or two, you actually feel solemn yourself- as though there's some tragic event that's occurred and you've forgotten what exactly it was. However, the feeling passes quickly, leaving you once again in the silent peace of the cavern.
However, this peace is interrupted, as West (having been swallowed up by the vines now), comes flying down the waterfall (yes this means you are fully soaked- but at least the water broke your fall!) and back to the rest of the group. United together again!
ooc Explore! West takes -5 hp from the fall. Maybe you should have relaxed. biggrin biggrin biggrin

The mirror is large, and somewhat out of place in such an archaic cavern, but the thick layer of dust that surrounds it hints that maybe it was meant to stay hidden for a reason.
As Shun approaches the mirror, it seems to hum, as though measuring him up. The image is that which you would expect- a reflection of the cavern behind him. Then it begins to shift, to an image that only Shun can see. In the mirror he can see himself at the peak of his happiness. It portrays him as he wants to be in life- whatever he wants most, wherever he is happiest. It could be the future, the past, whatever it is that Shun would see.
Regardless of if he tries to turn away, he would find that, at least for a moment, he couldn't, as he was entranced by the picture.
But then, just as quickly as the image appeared, it disappears. The ensnarement disappears. The image is once again Shun, in the cavern.

The vines didn't let up, and eventually, no matter how hard he tried, West couldn't move at all. He silently cursed Danny, trains, stupid castles, artifacts, doors, and everything else that crossed his mind until he was completely consumed then spat out into a formerly tranquil pool. He ignored Andrew for the time being, glaring at Shun and his snooty sneer as he made his way to the water's edge and back onto the shore, muttering over the state of his hair and clothes as he went.
He then took a step closer as the flame demon moved away. "Weekly bath. Says th' one who's prob'ly never had one." West recalled Danny begging for a ride through a fairly shallow stream the last time they'd gone adventuring. Surely this boil reacted similarly. "Wanna dry me off wit' yer little fire?" West took another step.

He certainly hadn't expected Andrew to lend him any fire, sarcastically or otherwise, and even though it only sort of worked in the whole drying capacity, West muttered a grudging, "Thanks," as the other boil's flame passed nearby. They weren't BFFs now or anything, but West was capable of controlling himself and Danny had asked so nicely.
"What've you guys been up to, eh?" he asked the small group, his voice louder than the serene space called for. "An' where's this... thing, anyway?" He squinted at the statue, then turned back to Andrew. "I look nothin' like that," he said in all seriousness. The day he got a cloud tattooed on his forehead would be the day he'd lost his mind.
