Stormy's eyes seemed to sparkle at the idea of a dance number after this was all over. Anything to promote and prolong her false cheer. (She was lucky Peyton never went through with her question.)

At Chris's protest, and because Bix and Peyton were doing introductions, she finally piped down and stopped bouncing in place, clinging to her temporary high as best she could like it was a wet towel trying to drag her back down. "A little music never hurts," she told him politely. "But very sorry if you're offended, mister."

To the rest, she cleared her throat and clasped her hands before her. "Hello, hello, everyone! Call me Stormy," she introduced with a little bounce on her heels. "Intermediate-soon-to-be-full-Hunter of the Mist Division. Totally better than the others because we get to stick our finger in everyone else's pies~" she added with a wink. "Plus no other division gets super cool lock pick sets at the end. Don't be surprised if you head to your room one day and find a smiley sticker on the wall from me!"

Nothing said breaking and entering like a little smiling girl.

"I've got a greatsword, so if any've you have big or heavy weapons, I can help!" Stormy went on to say. "Spars are the best way, like Peyton says. But we can worry about that after the tour!" She made to nudge the Sun playfully for her over eagerness to fight, a motion she hoped solidiy that everything was okay even when it wasn't.

But if Nevada had taught her anything, it was to hide emotions.

"Mr. Dakota here is a Moon Hunter, by the way," she told the group, growing a little less tense at his arrival. Around personalities like these, it was easier to forget about things. But her eyes lingered on Noemi for a moment too long.

Not right now.

"My specialty is heading towards Death as well, so until someone else comes up from that Division, I can answer questions."

Have you never been nervous at your first day of... anything?

"Confidence will take you far." was Akila's reply. Then again, her weapon had always an authoritative tone to her. If Akila was in her place, she would most definitely socialize a whole lot better than she was doing now.

She did perk up slightly when Bix waved to her, giving him a smile and wave in return. "Hey!"

Another girl with really nice hair called out to her too, and Kylee didn't feel quite so awkward. They were all in this together after all, right? (Yeah, she was blaming that little bit on the hunters singing HSM songs in the vicinity.)

"Hey." She greeted Cami with a smile. "Are you new too?"

..."Wait, did I just hear chocolate?" Kylee looked around as someone announced her handing out of sweets, and eyes rested on another beaming Asian girl.

Gale had really been there the whole time, but had remained mostly silent. Now, however, he stepped forward and casually linked his fingers with Stormy's, giving the rest of the new trainees a slight smile.

"My name is Gale Gentry," he said lightly. "I'm a full Death Hunter specializing in Artifact Retrieval; more specifically, artifacts in connection with the Horsemen." He very conveniently left out the part where Caelius had demoted him. "My weapon is a sniper rifle."

A pause, and then -

"Bix is my best mate, so if he says anything at all about me, just ignore him."

Dakota blinked as Stormy introduced him and the winked at all the ladies. So many ladies. Look he was dedicated to Candace but it didn't hurt to be friendly.

"Hello pretty ladies and gents. Like my fine little friend Stormy said-" he went over to the smaller mist and put his hand on her head. He had spent most of his day trying to stop Candace from running off after certain things but...anyways. "I'm a full moon hunter and I specialize in search and rescue missions, escorting services for Halloween, human or hunter. Er....not like male host escorting. More like body guard stuff. Yeah anyways, yeah. Moon and sun usually go hand in hand so if you need to ask anything about that. I can help!"

Noemi studied Stormy carefully; lacing her hands together because it didn't seem the right time to...bother Lina. STORMY. But hey they were in the same division at least.

Oliver may have just panicked and disappeared back to his room, especially when the more experienced hunters arrived. Half the ones he met were intimidating, the other half... downright scary. But when he saw Noemi amongst the group, he made his way over, head ducked so as to attract little attention to himself.

"H-hi," he said quietly, it seemed she knew Stormy as well. Oliver was still a bit afraid of her, even with the 'come on over' gesture he had received, but since their first meeting he knew not all friendliness on the island was a ruse.

Dakota's pat was alright because at least she saw it coming. The moment someone touched her without warning, however, she went stiff. The moment she realized it was Gale, she had a small panic attack.

In a flash the false cheer she had been working towards was gone, replaced with abject horror as Stormy yanked her hand out of his grip and nimbly backpeddled away like he would attack her. She tugged her bear cap down even further, until it ate her ears and almost overshadowed her eyes, outlining the bags underneath them even further.

Her gaze was on the ground. She gave a small, nervous laugh, like it was a joke.

Gale, to his credit, did not bat an eye at Stormy's abrupt yanking free of her hand; however, he did turn his head to look at her quite calmly, his expression the same as it ever was: quiet and unruffled and unwilling to back down in spite of everything.

He turned back to the group of trainees and smiled. "Death Division focuses on the processing of information," said Gale. "So if any of you are interested in that path, or are new to the Death Division, please don't hesitate to ask any questions."

"Yes, I have some chocolate to share, I think it may help to lessen the nervousness?" The tiny asian girl wearing glasses tilted her head and smiled to Kylee. "Anyway, snack is good in general."

The girl spared some attention to hear introductions of other senpai, nearly one from each division, she had the feeling that the meeting must be worth her time. Bix, Peyton, Stormy, Dakota and Gale. She might need to approach Stormy and Gale especially, one with specialty towards Death and another was a full hunter from Death Division! She stared at their intertwined hands a while, another couple she met on the Island and they seemed to be a lovely match.

Then, another handsome talked. Why the island had so many handsome and beauties? It seemed to be a forever mystery. Oh! She remembered him, the hunter posted on twitter, mangling with Wilson with another pretty lady.....Moon and Sun usually go hand in hand.... she raised her hand and abruptly asked a question. "That's why some celebrate Eclipse?" She looked at the Full Moon hunter with a curious smile.

Dakota didn't keep a firm grip on Stormy and also didn't seemed bothered by her inclination to move. He had been the same when Clerise, though not friends with each other, had passed. It was just tough.

"Yeah, we got names I guess for pairing up? Suns and moons though are partners, if you're a sun, I highly recommend finding a moon partner that you can train with. About 100% of the time, it's better to have a defense and offense team that knows each others strengths and weaknesses well. If you're a mist gearing towards moon and sun, I'd also recommend trailing a team to see how it works." Dakota gave Shu a thumbs up.

Noemi jumped a little, as she was focused on Stormy's behavior when Oliver joined her. "Hello Oliver!" She said quietly, "is good to have someone I know here si?"

The tiny girl giggled at the thumb up and randomly asked, "How about Death? Do they partner with others too?" She smiled.

"So many japanese chocolates." Kylee whispered, eyes alight with excitement as she stared down at the chocolate in her hands. "Sweet potato chocolate? Well, don't mind if I do."

"My name's Kylee Chang, by the way. It's really nice of you uh... oh gosh, I don't know your name."

So, a few of these experienced hunters seemed to be of the Death division, huh? And it seemed that they dealt with information. Interesting. Did the Life division work with them? Because life... and death... ahahaha...

Akila merely sighed in her head.

She giggled, "Nice to meet you, Kylee~ I am Dong Shu Lei, um, you can call me Shu, Shu Lei, Lei whatever you like. You are welcome! I am happy that someone wants them." The tiny girl paused and smiled. "You are from Life, right? I am from Death, how are you doing so far?" She blinked, waiting for the answer from the taller girl. Then suddenly with her eyes widened, she asked, "Your surname is Chang? Would you possible to be an ASIAN?" The girl finished her question with sparkly eyes.

"Well we can elaborate on duties and things as we move around." Bix clarified. He was so focused on getting this done correctly that he was trying not to be distracted by the personal interactions around him, though he was encouraged by more experienced hunters arriving.

"OK so this is the Main HQ building." They were standing under the archways leading up to the door. "As expected this is the main building for operations. You'll find your division leads offices here, council chambers," not that there was a council, "and if you are super new you'll get issued duty rosters through here too. Also if you need supplies etc. After a while they just start to send everything to your phone." Bix smiled.

He scratched his head, "We don't really do a lot of hands on stuff in here so I guess that's about it. I guess the most important part are your division leads offices..." But somehow he didn't feel like giving details on the leads. If they wanted to ask, they could. "So ummm let's get moving!"

Bix glanced around at his friends present and started to move. Dorms would be easiest probably so he headed in that direction.

Caught up in spectating Batsy doing a mean High School Musical she'd missed Kylee's question but made it a point to talk to her again later. She had had the Sun Division symbol on her coat which meant they'd probably work together sooner, rather than later. Plus, if this was anything like paintball (which was awesome) that meant that they were teammates. Eventually there'd be a thing where division loyalty would be important. Right?

< That might be the first truly insightful thought you'd had, if a bit erroneous still. I don't suggest you talk about it too much. Deus needs its divisions to work together and if you want to stay alive, you'll pay attention to that. > Good to know? Eyes landed on Batsy. "Hey, Bats. Guess who is my new sparring partner?" Her grin was huge and not at all suppressed. Poor guy.
