Gleaming in the sunlight Aine made her way along the path carefully, her coat gleaming brightly glancing back often showing concern for the basket she towed behind her.
Gently, gently...
She whispered quietly in her mind gently toting the little basket behind her. She didn't really believe fully in the wishing star, she's only used it partially to allow herself to get some air. Aine had bat her beautiful eyes at the dragon and he'd allowed it. Last it appeared she wished for a friend, so instead of wishing for herself this time wished for him. She knew what he wanted and Aine couldn't help but feel for him. But she never tho rolleyes ught in her wildest dreams it would come true. Sure enough there was a beautiful basket the same golden hue as Aine's own coat with trim the same color as the dragon. A blue gem sealed the lid, it too matched Aine's eyes.
Wouldn't Myrddin be surprised? Aine was quite proud, as she paused to nuzzle the little basket. She'd had some of the raccoons and rabbits that had come for the wishing star help her make a small harness for her to be able to carry the basket on the return trip. Aine though had to let the moment pass as she began moving again toward the dragon's territory. She had to get back soon, she didn't feel as safe out here in the open. She was small and weak, especially in comparison to the dragon...
Gently pulling the basket with such care took time. She would defend it however as best she could but she doubted it would do much good. But she could now see the edge of the dragon's territory and breathed a sigh of relief. She actuslly felt quite vulnerable without the dragon around. What if that kalona has really stayed around. This would be the perfect chance. This child was heavy, heaver she expected than a normal foal but she was not the best judge. She'd never had a child before despite being fawned over by many stallions.
"Myrddin!" She called to let the dragon know she'd returned. He guarded his home jealously and there wasn't much that would escape his notice. He would know she had returned probably before she'd called and he was probably worried she'd run off. It had taken a long time after all. Aine couldn't help but sigh. Now.. She glanced at the basket. How would she get it up there. His cave was so far up.
