It seemed so quiet without his brother around. The stallion was always one to be as rambunctious, if not more so, as a foal who had finally escaped the basket. Wide-eyed and ready to take on the world, but only succeeding at making the parents annoyed with all the running, screaming, yelling, and a million questions about the world. Takkun was supposed to be his twin’s sibling, not a mother and babysitter. So having the stallion off doing his own thing gave the long haired stallion a sense of peace. He could finally hear his own thoughts and the sounds of the world.
A sigh escaped from between the Cerynei’s lips as he rested his head upon his legs. The wind played with his mane and brought a welcomed child against his body. The grass felt soft beneath him, like sleeping on clouds. Yes, everything we perfect, that is until he heard the sound of someone approaching.
No, there was no need to make himself known to them. Maybe, if he ignored them then they would ignore him, because he was not in the mood to have company outside of the company of his own mind.
They better not bother me if they know what’s good for them.
Just as the stallion was beginning to get comfortable once more the other presence’s voice broke the silence. Whomever they were they seemed to enjoy talking to themselves. And before he knew it, Takkun’s mane was being nibbled upon like a sweet snack.
“HEY! HEY! HEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING!?”
