<P> Growing Laughter - Sap, Lisana, Ichiro

The sunrise was beautiful over the ocean and Lisana walked to the edge of the building to watch it. The sky was just turning pink but still had some purplish to it. The mikimoo were already beginning to stir, one or two of them floating up into the air.

Glancing over at a sound, she saw Dat stretching a little and then she began preparing food for the day. Ichiro had been asleep when she moved, so she had simply grabbed her robe and now stood staring into the morning.

Others were beginning to stir and they drew her attention also. Some were getting the tools out to help with the planting. Others were gathering buckets of fresh water from the nearby stream. One or two others were carefully picking the plants and what order they were to be planted in the ground.

Lisana listened to them all as the day began. She would have to nudge Ichiro to moving, but first, she just enjoyed what was around her for now. The day would be full with much to do, but she would let them all stop early today. They deserved a break having worked so hard the last few weeks.

Ichiro had, indeed, been out like a light when Lisana first woke up and moved. He did not stir right away, but her absence was quickly noticed. First came the adorable little whines as he tried to simply lure her back in bed with him. Certainly that was more important than what Laughter was looking at right now, yes ?

Eventually, however, he gave up and finally decided to get up, yawning hugely as he reached for his discarded shirt. "What's going on, my dear ?"

Aaaand Drac had no idea what to post for a month...

Sap had grown progressively more of a person as she'd stayed in this place whatever-it-was and kept existing, whatever-that-was, but she still didn't know what to do with herself in the mornings. There was very little direction to her life and days, and honestly she didn't mind. being directionless was fine with her. It was just frustrating in the mornings, that was all.

Today, though, she saw people planting plants, and anything to do with plants made her curious. Sap loved plants, but she'd never actually seen them planted before. She knew a plant came from a seed, or sometimes a root, and she'd seen the seeds, maybe thrown them places and watched little sprouts grow (or not), but she'd never seen people actually planting plants in the ground.

Wherever she was - she never knew these days, she just kinda wandered and that was totally fine with her - she sat down and watched them. She wondered what they were growing? Were they growing it for food or just for the heck of it? She thought that, maybe, she'd just grow some plants ofr the heck of it one day. Once she figured out how.

Well, she'd learn today!
