maybe that's where we are different? XD my drawings looked like powerpuff girls... I actually was trying to make them look like powerpuff girls...

Celestine Ravencroft I just haven't even felt like drawing lately because it's so ridiculously cold. My hands are too cold to be holding a pencil for hours on end. That's why I haven't finished any of the backed art that I owe. I may not start until it gets warmer. When I got my first "how to draw manga" book, I did slightly copy a few of the pics, but I'd always alter them in color and outfit so it wouldn't be a complete copy. Those were some of my derpier attempts. While I do prefer freestyle, it is harder because I don't have reference for a lot of the poses I try. Truth be told, I'm not sure that what I draw can even be considered manga characters. I try to do my art based on the Shoujo style, but the face shape is never right and the eyes are never in the right place. Plus, I tend to make my female character too busty to be considered true Shoujo. They're more like Bishoujo. Millie990 aww I love your art it's cute when I was younger I would redraw images bigger like a cover to a manga I would draw that same image but BIGGER that's sort of where I got my start...copying art haha
I still have art to finish biggrin now that I have my tablet I think I'm going to redraw Kags bust art or was it head art? o.o
if I had to say I think my art looks more shonen |
