The pup snorted in response to his father's cautioning words. "Anyone who tries to take my SKULL is going to get a faceful of claw," he informed the adult with savage dignity and pride. He didn't really expect his dad to really understand anyway. It wasn't about coveting the SKULL. It was about showing the SKULL - and the rest of the pride - that he wasn't someone to be laughed at and pushed around!

Tesak was determined to show it off, and thus his prowess, to everyone else. He just had to make sure that the SKULL in question looked like something to be proud of.

Los nodded, satisfied with the response. He lifted his head and licked his lips, the grin still on his face. "Good. That's what I like to hear." He swished his tail and reached out to bop his son on the nose with his paw. "Don't let anyone take it from you. Remember that," he said with a nod. He surveyed the area before catching sight of a slave that looked up to no good, and he growled quietly.

"Stay out of trouble," he muttered as he trotted off. He had a job to do now.
