Form One - Basic Powers

- Provides enhanced strength, agility, and stamina for those pursuing heroism for up to two days. Note Heroes' definition is not Disney's Hercules version, but the historically accurate real world version, following the below definitions: 1. a man distinguished by exceptional courage, nobility, fortitude, etc 2. a man who is idealized for possessing superior qualities in any field
Therefore, a Stormborn captain who is planning to bring back the most loot in the history of the pride could very well be seen as a potential hero just as much as your modern day "white knight" variation.
This power ceases to function the moment a SoA is derailed from their mission. In exchange, a SoA agrees to be called upon to help future heroes if the need arises.
- Summons a sidekick to help out a heroic SoA, permissible only if they have a specific task in mind. This companionship lasts for up to three days. This summoned creature can be either a personally owned lined SoA or a non-lined species and will be one suitable to problem at hand (such as cheetah for delivering a message short distances across the plains). The roster of these individuals includes only those who have triggered her first temporary power listed above. Only one may be summoned at a time.
- Heroes is able to glimpse applicable past "heroics" of a SoA for the duration it takes to see, up to 3 days worth of content. This will pertain to what kind of hero they are striving to be (victories in battle for a warmaster type, rescuing cubs for a noble type, etc.).
Permanent Power: - Creates a statue of chosen SoA to immortalize their heroism, selected at Shujaa's discretion. Note the qualifications will not always align with the extreme idealistic version of heroism and selected individuals may or may not conflict with others. For example, a zebra who has fought off a lion assailant and saved his/her herd could be considered a hero; likewise, a lion who kills several zebra and saves starving cubs would also qualify. Form One - Basic Powers
Owner: Das Tor God: Hakuna'jina Domain: Perseverance Temporary Powers: - Stoke the Fire: Hakuna can 'encourage' someone to keep going towards their goal, like an empathic 'push in the right direction'. Her 'encouragement' only lasts while she is there, but the after-effects can often make a difference... - Water off my Back: She can 'shield' someone from the more hurtful things people say while pursuing their goal, those things seeming to not register in the protected's mind. She has to be in the area, and often shelters them under a wing as a physical representation that they're under her protection. - Second Wind: Hakuna can grant someone mental or physical strength if they have used theirs up in pursuing their goal (however she has to approve of said goal). This is NOT permanent, and only lasts for 2-3 days AT MOST. After the effects fade, the receiver has to rest, or else do a great deal of damage to themselves as they HAVE overextended themselves. Permanent Power: - Never Rest: Used as a curse, Hakuna can induce a very specific sort of stubbornness in a creature. She can make it so that once they set their mind on something, they CANNOT give up on it. This can only be lifted IF they accomplish that something. Owner: Krysin God: Mkhai Domain: Warriors Temporary Powers: - A Warrior's Calling Mkhai can grant a mortal a temporary boost to their strength, speed, and stamina. The effect only lasts for a day, and only appear when a mortal is in conflict with another mortal. - An Itch to Scratch Mkhai can make a mortal feel the irresistable urge to fight. The effects only last for six hours, and can somewhat be weakened by a strong enough will. - Permanent Power: - Warrior's Battle Mkhai can bless an individual with an ability triggered only during battle. The mortal becomes consumed by rage, blinding their regular senses and awarenesses. Their strength, speed, and stamina increased nominally during this battle rage state. Owner: Krysin God: Dira Domain: Hummingbirds Temporary Powers: - Song of the Hummingbirds For a day, Dira can curse an individual to hear the beating of a hummingbird's wings in their ears. - - Permanent Power: - Gift of the Hummingbird This gift can only be bestowed upon avians. Owner: Krysin God: Sitiri Domain: Anonymity Temporary Powers: - Uncertain Visage Sitiri can grant any mortal an ever-shifting appearance for up to three days. Their pelt, eye color, and skin color will change every couple of seconds, making it nearly impossible to discern their true appearance. - - Permanent Power: - Faceless Sitiri can curse any mortal's appearance to be immediately forgotten as soon as they've left the presence of someone else. The other party will know they have been speaking/with someone, but will be unable to remember who they were. Owner: Krysin God: Somo Domain: Friendship Temporary Powers: - Forging Bonds Somo can ease the tension between individuals, lightening the mood surrounding them and making it easier to become friends. The effects only last for half a day. - - Permanent Power: - Forcing Bonds Her temporary power is taken to the extreme, where she can make two mortals become the closest of friends despite prior history, dislike, or even hate between them. The power is strongest when the two mortals are together, but can weaken if they become separated for too long. However, it never goes away, and can reignite the moment the two mortals afflicted come in contact again. It does not rid away memories of past wrongs or slights caused against one another.
