Many years ago, the headmistress Alvara Saito had stumbled upon this very large, castle. When she had first arrived, she was almost at the point of starvation from her long journey across the mountains. Slowly, but surely she made her way up to the front gates of this castle. The castle gates opened for her, and a tall, slender and beautiful, angelic-like woman had answered to her. The woman saw the head masters' condition she was in and welcomed her into her home with open arms.
As the years passed, Alvara and the woman grew close as a family. She was almost like a mother to her. They were happy and at peace, but Alvara found that the woman was sick and had only a few months left to live. She was bed ridden so Alvara stayed with her through those long, agonizing months. In her last few minutes alive, the women spoke to her. "I am moving on to a better place now and have no children so I'd like to pass on this place to you. You are the most wonderful daughter anyone could ever have..." she died in her sleep. Alvara had buried her mother in the family cemetery and mourned her death for many days.
She had thought of leaving the palace many times through her mourning, but could not. So she decided she would make a place for gifted and mythical beings to learn, and live in peace. It took many years to remodel the castle into a school, but once it was done, she sent out many letters across the globe to invite many of her kind (mythical creatures) to come and join.
