Azima still couldn't believe he'd agreed to another litter. In some ways he was jealous when Tareq and his twin spent more time together... but other times he felt thankful that someone was dragging that giant idiot away from him. And their first batch had finally grown to adults... why bring more of the little trouble makers into the world? His gaze shifted to Sara though, and he found himself smiling just a little. Those four had turned out well though, surprisingly. Azima didn't give himself enough credit.

He leaned back into Tareq. "They're going to be born any day now."

Lazy days were the best sorts of days, especially when Azima was being extra snuggly. He chuckled and nuzzled into his mate's neck. "Aye. Keaira s'big too!" He chuckled and glanced toward her to teasingly wiggle his eyebrows at her. "Gunna be a big litter for sure! An' all 'em little'uns 'ill be runnin' around again." He nipped one of Azima's ears. "Restlin' an nippin' an' all tha' good stuff." He was excited, ecstatic, pleased as punch! When Keaira had agreed to a second litter he couldn't wait to tell Azima, and the kids. "Oi! Sara, 'ows the wa'er?" He called out, thinking a swim might be nice.

Sara could spend the entire day and night in the water, it was wonderful feeling! Not to mention the atmosphere was nice, quiet and lazy and just loving the way big families were. He was really looking forward to aunt Keaira giving birth, to having little siblings he could show cool things and teach them stuff and just being an older brother sounded awesome!

When his dad called out to him he splashed some water in their general direction, but they were obviously too far away. "Feels great! You guys should come in."

The lioness basically looked like she was going to pop. Any day the cubs, not necesarrily 'hers' but in reality hers would be born. They were going to be her brother's children. Him and his mate. Keaira called it a gift for him, as much as Azima assumed she had stolen part of his life when growing up. That's what the life would be when growing up as identical twins.

Already the lioness had a litter with Tareq, but it was a shock for her twin when he found out. This time, it was more or less planned. What wasn't planned, was just how much her belly was enlarged. Either these cubs were going to be huge, or she was carrying a lot. Or both. Her first litter with Tareq, although she carried four, wasn't this big. And her very first litter in general with just the two cubs wasn't even half the comparison.

She sighed slightly, wobbling as she strolled down the path. She spotted the bright red male and his loving mate near the water, and the two children, now adults, lounging in the water, playing and relaxing.


Qi was silently, thinking about everything. She was excited to hear Auntie Kea was with children, and soon she'd have little siblings to dote on. She grew rather close to her brother Sarakaji, but now she could spoil much more younger cubs. It had been a while since any kind of youngsters had been in the Kusini lands, so new life was always a good start to something new.

The cream female lay her head on the shore, while the rest of her body was submerged in the murky waters.

"When do you think they will be born, Dad?" She asked to her two fathers.
