Pepper had gone off again earlier and had said something that he couldn't recall-Pepper being the newest and steadily used nickname he had given his mate--at the time he had been too focused on the things she had brought home from her travels. . It was boring without her around to tease or follow or...bug. Iaran had tinkered earlier on and created new items for their current home but he had been at this for hours. His interest was started to going south and it was now that he was beginning to realize how long Pepper had been gone. "Pepper!" He shouted from his current spot. The only thing that answered back was his own voice via echo. He waited a few minutes as that usually worked in bringing her next to him. "Pepper? ..." He sighed and got up. "Guess I better go look."
Jahrvihs had been flying for days and his wings were beginning to feel like it. He had left the nest at a very young age and went off to make a name for himself. Which he had but lately there was something lacking. Something or someone that required orders and for him to go complete those orders. He enjoyed making others happy. Maybe it was time to find a partner...well not that kind of part more of a feline variety. Canines were too out of control at times. Plus felines were more independent...weren't they? Little did Jarvis know...those words would be false for years to come.
Still no luck. Iaran pouted at the thought of Pepper not being around but whatever he could keep busy! Right? Right! Maybe... yeah a walk sounded perfect! Nothing like enjoying the scenery of ones own home! ...oh! Maybe he would run into her while out and about! Nice! He gathered his gear before leaving his territory. It would be easier to keep his gadgets on him. They certainly had come in handy multiple times. "Let the good times begin~"
The sound of feathers beating against the wind were almost like the sound of a heartbeat... and just as relaxing to Jarvis. He had traveled far at least three days now and had yet to find the perfect place to settle down or create a partnership. 'This area certainly looks captivating.' He thought while gazing at the grassy hills and rocky mountains. A flash of red distracted his internal thoughts and caused Jarvis to whip back around for a closer look.
