Enter thru Virtual Hollywood, it's less likely to jam. Click on the taxi, then click on the pic of Gambino, then on Gol. This will take you to the dock.

Click on the orange house over the water taxi/ferry, click on go to housing, then choose a town to invite your friends to. The avi who sets up the town in the landlord. The other avi can go to visit and click where he wants his house, then the original can accept him as a neighbor.

Anyone who wants to move in can go through the same process, except where you set up a townlet, they click on your name to go see you, then choose a spot in your townlet.

Or you could pm someone who already set up a townlet and ask if both avis can join them.
