Overall the feel of this artist's work made us all torn about which submission to submit as our favorite but this one ended up taking the spot. For something so simple, this submission is SO strong. The composition is striking, the style is distinct and recognizable. It looks like it belongs as an illustration in a modern day book of fairy tales.
