Eggman Empire- city of ruins

As soon as the main robot patrols (mainly E-3005 Swatbot mk.IVs as well as a few E-1000s) demolished the building full of survivors, Megan's special patrol waits outside of the perimeter to watch for those that would slip out, and it just so happened two did (Ilbis and Nina). As the swatbots chase them, Megan swings the M60 to her back while simultaneously taking out her skateboard.
The MR-01s start to sprint as Megan gets her feet on the deck and hangs on to the chassis of one as they seek to head off the escapees. The chase is made easier by the distress signal that the canine units sent just before getting trashed.

Meanwhile another patrol sends a distress signal to any unit within range, and as Megan's receiver picks it up, she dispatches another special patrol of 5 MR-01s to the position.

TD stood slightly on all fours still regaining his focus again, he was still pretty shocked from what he did but he picked up signs on his scanner that more robots were coming. "Hurry... leave without me, I am not able to catch up anyway... go now..." he said in robotic tone to Nina and Iblis as they started to leave, he hoped that they would escape on time or else he won't be able to help them this time. "Don't worry about me..." he quickly said but as soon as he said that he fell onto his stomach again, slightly knowing that one of them might ask him that question or hesitate.

Nina heard TD then looked at Iblis, she sighed and kept walking in the shadows. "We can't take him with us anyway..." she said quietly but Iblis probably heard her.

Iblis heard TD and saw him struggle as Nina walked off. Iblis hesitated for a moment and looked at TD sadly. She knew that more robots were on their way. "But-....Alright..." Iblis started to protest until her ears perked up at the sound of the robots. She gave a small wave goodbye to TD as she ran to catch up with Nina.

Ashura continued to run through the urban area as he continuously maneuvered through robots and gun fire, if he knew what was going on he would actually have a set area to reach but this was his first time here, he has no idea where he is, all he knows is that there are machines and robots trying to kill him for, as far as he knows, for no reason, as he continued running he left behind a fairly large commotion as gun fire could be heard for miles away, Ashura then noticed some different looking robots, they seemed more capable then the rest"oh,oh...I might be pushing my luck..."he said taking notice to the fact that he now seems to have an entire city of robots trying to kill him now "well I think its better if I disappear for now"he said then picked up his pace after a few seconds he lost the robots as he hid in a dark back ally...hmm...I guess the first thing to do is figure out where the heck am Ihe thought to himself then began to walk quietly through the ally seeing if he can spot a normal person but so far no luck, though he did hear some foot steps close by but couldn't pinpoint where they came from, though he assumed it was most likely a living creature as they didn't sound to heavy

Nina sighed deeply but quietly, she knew Iblis felt bad for leaving the robot dog behind. "They might think we damaged him instead... that robot should be fine, if not though he might escape on his own." she said quietly to Iblis, hiding in the shadows while listening to their surroundings.

The MR-01s with Megan continue to parallel chase Ilbis and Nina as the Swatbots harass them openly. Of course, Megan programmed the MR-01s with advanced combat software that prompts them to use the advanced tactics that modern special-forces soldiers do, like use cover effectively, suppress a target with fire as other units close, "slice the pie", lead moving targets, as well as moving while firing, with the cold precision that only electronics and mechanics can deliver.

The MR-01s pursuing Ashura track his progress, and note their increasing proximity to the squad pursuing Ilbis and Nina. These units are carrying two 12-gauge semi-auto shotguns on two of their arms, AK47Ms on the other two, and a grenade launcher on their turrets.

TD scanned the area where Nina and Iblis were going but quickly detected that they were being followed, he couldn't move though as he was seriously damaged on one of his legs plus if he did move he wouldn't reach them in time.

Inside Eggman's tall and strong Empire, D.L was standing in the main room of his lab. Test robots broken around him on the ground, D.L's expression motionless with no feeling at all as he waits for more test robots to come towards him.

D.L seemed sorta like he was in a trance though, his eyes normally showed anger but this time it was just a dull color.

Eggman was watching D.L's progress from outside the lab on a computer screen, he noticed how much D.L has improved and because of this project Eggman has ruled all. "Nicely done, D.L... I think you deserve a little break." he said then pushed a few buttons to stop the test robots and open the door out of the lab, he then watched as D.L leaved the lab and returned to his post.

Iblis heard Nina and let out a small sigh as she traveled behind Nina. Iblis stopped for a moment with her ears perked. She could hear something that sounded like robots chasing them. It didn't sound like robotic hounds though, which puzzled Iblis a little. "N-Nina....do you hear that...?" Iblis asked slightly nervous. Suddenly, the MR-01s could be seen off in the distance and they were firing at Iblis and Nina. "Nina! Look out!" Iblis said as she grabbed a trash can lid and held it like a shield. Iblis stood with the trash can shield and blocked the bullets that the robots fired at her and Nina. Iblis pushed Nina motioning for her to run while they still could. However, the trash can shield didn't last long. The bullets soon broke through and hit Iblis a few times in one arm and in her side. "Argh!!! ...Nina, run! Get outta here! ...I'll hold them off as long as I can.... GO!!!" Iblis yelled in agony as she struggled to stand and faced the robots. She was weak, but she could still hold them off long enough for Nina to get away. Iblis charged at the robots and shot fire at them, but she knew that they would easily capture her and then take her to Eggman.

Indeed much of the buckshot bounced off of the trash can lid before the two units at that end quickly switched to their .308 machine guns Another MR-01 and Megan move to block the other end, using the building walls as cover. The units that ilbis attacks quickly take cover themselves, with one weapon arm poking around the corner to maintain visual contact on the targets and provide suppressive fire.

It's worth mentioning that Megan is against robotization of organics, for the simple reason that it preserves the victim's sapience while eliminating control over itself, something Megan feels is absolutely impossible (she believes the victim's sapience will sooner or later take control and considers that a security risk), as well as the process being horribly inefficient. Instead, Megan prefers to execute any other organics that don't die in the firefight.

Since Megan personally programmed the MR-01 units, she has ultimate control over them. Eggman or other command units can issue orders to them, but Megan can override them at any time. The MR-01s have orders to eliminate any organics they come across, rather than capture, which they are attempting to do with Ilbis and Nina, as well as Ashura when the other patrol catches up to him.

Nina looked horrified on what was going on but quickly gained her focus again, she started firing at the robots with two pistols in both hands. "It's too late anyway!" she yelled noticing that they are pretty much boxed in by both sides, she hated to admit it but it looked like they were done for if they didn't do something quick.

back at the Eggman Empire...

D.L was walking back to his guard post, he had heard that there were more survivors near by and was on his way. He was ordered by the doctor to destroy or capture whoever is most useful or not, if they were useful in battle D.L would drag them back slightly injured or just wound them and let the robots drag them back to the base.

D.L stopped at the scene where the explosion happened, he gazed around noticing some survivors were being dragged off back to the base. He closed his eyes for a moment then sighed deeply, he started floating up into the air with his air shoes then starts drifting towards the buildings, searching for any more survivors as two robots follow him from behind.

Iblis looked around as she heard Nina and realized that she was right. The robots were closing in on them and it didn't look like they were taking prisoners. Iblis knew that the situation was looking grim for her and Nina, but what could they do? They were surrounded and if the robots didn't kill Iblis, then Iblis would soon die of blood loss if not treated soon. "This...doesn't look too good Nina... I don't think...these robots are taking prisoners..." Iblis said trying to ignore the pain in her arm and side. "Hey Nina...jump!" Iblis warned as she spun on her back like a break-dancer and shot fire in all directions. A column of fire shot straight up from Iblis and into the sky like a flare. Iblis motioned for Nina to take another trash can lid and jump into the fire column. It would launch Nina onto the top of the buildings and give her a chance to escape. However, the fire column could be seen from the opposite side of the city too.

"A ******** fire column?" Megan thinks, (since she can't speak (yet is willing to curse even as young as six)) then searches for an alternate way to the roof of an adjacent building to continue the fight. Three of the MR-01 assist in the search, retracting their shotguns to reveal mechanical hands that are as close to humanoid hands as have ever been made, while two stay on either side of the alleyway to prevent Ilbis and Nina from simply landing and running out one side, coming out from cover more to fire their 30 millimeter cannon turrets (fragmenting high-explosive rounds) at the pair.

Nina did what Iblis told her and jumped avoiding the fire, she then quickly took a trash can lid and used it to surf to the top on the column of fire. Nina landed on the building but saw the robots turn the weapons to a more dangerous use, she quickly tossed her trash can lid to block the explosion from hitting Iblis for now but in turn got hit by an explosive near her. "Ahhh!" She screamed then collapsed on top of the building, her legs were damaged slightly from the attack.

D.L patrolled the area of the city with Eggman's two robots floating behind, he stopped when he saw fire shoot up like a flare near by. He quickly rushed towards it with his air shoes boosting up speed, once he got there with the two robots following him, he saw the two survivors and Megan's robots fighting.

D.L though landed on a near by building and picked up Nina by the neck, he noticed that she was damaged on her two legs but didn't seem to care as he choked her. "We might get some use from you... if not... you will die by my hands." he said then tossed her to one of Eggman's robots, the robot started to leave with Nina carried in one of it's arms. D.L then jumped off the building and landed near Megan's robots with narrowed eyes at her, he wondered why she hadn't just captured them but he noticed right away how damaged Iblis looked. "Hasn't the doctor told you... not to kill useful things to the empire?" he said with dull tone hardly any emotion, he stood in the way as he walked towards Iblis slowly but stopped a few feet from her. Glaring into her eyes with dull purple orbs, it was hard to tell what he was planning to do. "I was ordered to capture who ever is of use in combat... weapons or elemental power, I'm sure you were ordered to do the same." he stared back at Megan's robots and her but kept his guard up just in case Iblis tried to do anything, he felt somewhat curious though on what Iblis could do that might be useful for experimenting on.

Iblis heard Nina scream and stopped her fire column. She looked around only to see Nina being carried off and D.L standing a few feet away. Iblis was badly wounded, but she could still fight. She hesitated to attack D.L though. "Light...I'm sorry..." she mumbled under her breath before shooting fire at D.L and trying to make an escape to help Nina. Iblis used her fire column again to launch herself up onto the roof tops were Nina was being dragged off. "Nina, I'm coming!" Iblis yelled as she shot fire at the robot carrying Nina, but Iblis made sure not to hit Nina with the fire.
