Phinix had been out on her own from a time now. Her brown and green body hid well in the earthly lands of jungles, but out here she was much like a sore paw pad. She didn't know where else to go, and each day seemed to get hotter and hotter; life was beginning to get worse for her. A frown crept upon her face as she moved slowly in the desert land, here eyes caught a glimpse of something, but she thought it was just the trick of the heat.
It had tricked her a lot lately. She had been seeing things that weren't really there. Though, something different about this, it was. She moved towards the figure that appeared to be there, though her thoughts were still doubtful. She didn't know weather to believe her eyes or not. Her scent had also picked something up... Was the heat also making her smell things? Nonsense. She continued towards the figure.
The closer she got, the more the figure turned into something else rather disappearing, like it had done so many other times. She was beginning to feel as if she was getting somewhere... Getting to something that was actually there. Though, the heat was a trickster, it could just be some hot dream that she had fainted a while ago. Perhaps she was dying....
"Hello?" she said... A frown upon her face, she could tell the other was a cheetah, yet she only saw the adult. She didn't show any kindness, though she wasn't going to lash out at the other. At least not yet... If she proved to be not there, then she'd just snap; she knew too well.

There was something off about this cheetah, Phinix couldn't quite put it in her paw, but she wasn't about to argue about it. She was hot, she was thirsty, she was hungry, and much more. She needed something, and that something happened to be this cheetah. Of course, she still didn't notice the cub that had followed the other, she didn't really care about the cub, honestly.
"Food?" She said weakly... Her body finally collapsed at the food of the cheetah. She didn't know if she could move any farther. She was exhausted, and she was feeling parts of her body she didn't know she had. "That.... would... be great." She said... Her eyes had a sort of glaze over as she looked up at the cheetah. The part about this lands being her pride went through one ear and out the other.
All she saw was someone there to help her. Everything else was just there. "I don't know if I can walk anymore" She said, but she could probably muster up the movements to get her self that way. She needed to. She must... She wasn't going to die here, die now. She stood up slowly. Her lags shaky, but they seemed to hold her. A frown was still upon her face. "Lead the way"

Things seemed to happen faster than Amnehodenphinix could calculate and understand. Though, before she could realize it, she was right in front of what looked like left overs of something. She wasn't exactly sure what it was, but she didn't stop to ask. Her stomach grumbled and all will to stop herself from eating left her body. The taste was more than she could handle at first, and she almost hacked up the first bite she took, but she regained herself and prevented it from coming up everywhere. After she had eaten a small bit, knowing that if she over did it that she would through up, she looked to the cheetah, now actually seeing her. "Thank you." She said with a hoarse voice. She did, in fact, owe this cheetah, even if she hated to admit it.
"I...guess I owe you something in return." She said with an uneasy look upon her face. She wasn't one to fall into situations like this, but it seemed nothing went one's way all the time. She signed and waited for the cheetah to speak in some sort of way. A frown upon her face.

To be honest, Phinix had no issues with the meat. It had been so long, to her anyways, since the last time she actually had something like it. The moment it had touched her mouth, it had watered and tasted so good. Though, she knew in a couple days if she continued to eat regularly, the taste would be much different.
She looked to the puddle of water, but she was still slightly too weak to move towards it. She'd wait a bit before moving over there. She didn't want to appear to be weak anymore. She sat there licking her paw to clean her face before looking back to the cheetah asking her questions. She wasn't normally one for questions, but she really couldn't avoid them now.
"Amnehodenphinix." She said, "but you can call me Phinix" She knew her name was more difficult to others. She could say it with ease, but when she was a cub, she had much trouble with it. With that, she made a small movement towards the puddle and waited for the cheetah to finish. She licked her paw again, as a last attempt to clean her face.
Phinix tried to keep everything to the point, and keep it sweet. She asked no questions in return, as it wasn't something she felt she should do. She was the one being under watch, not the other way around. Until the other felt she wasn't a threat, no questions would be answered. She was sure of it, anyways. She still felt weak, and couldn't defend herself if the other so happened to try anything. She felt vulnerable, and didn't like it at all, though she did her best to try to hide it. She shook a bit, but kept it under a minimum.

Phinix felt that she would be forever in this cheetahs debt. It wasn't what she wanted, but it seemed there was no other choice. She could sense annoyance from the other, and understood perfectly fine. "You don't have to." she said with a weak voice. It was a kind thought, even if the cheetah really didn't want to do it. There was goodness in her heart, at least in this moment. Things could change when the leopard was stronger.
She nodded at the first rule. "I don't plan on it." She said with a smirk. She planned to live a long life, at least she hoped. Sometimes one couldn't control how things worked.
Though, if she was to be harmed, it'd be easier to do it while she was still weak and unable to defend herself. "Why do you help me?" She asked. The question had crossed her mind a lot, and she couldn't help but to ask. if anyone else had found her, she was sure they would just let her die.
