It was becoming a personal mission of Ta'hi's to splash, ripple, or otherwise disrupt any serene waters that she could find, because it was becoming a habit of the water's to memorize and entrance her into washing away staring into it like it was telling her the universe's secrets. And it wasn't all it was doing to - eating her. Distracting her. She didn't really know how to explain it, so Ta'hi took to doing the only thing that she could to deal with the water that wanted her. She swam, and splashed.
That's what she was doing now. Swimming. Tanhipom found another little pond. One small than the other one she often swam in, but it was darker when it snagged her. So that meant it was deeper. The deeper waters should have scared Ta'hi, but what scared her was how long the water would capture her if she didn't swim in the pond. And she wasn't that bad of a swimmer any more. Sometimes she felt like she swam better than she walked or ran. But Ta'hi was still prone to sink if she wasn't careful with where she stopped splashing. She didn't know why, but she was aware of it.
Taking a deep breath, Tanhipom and ran into the water, making a splashing entrance into her newest swimming hole or victim, depending on who you were and how you looked at it.

A jumbled and twisted "A ... A ... oo ... rre ... oo ... K" made it to Ta'hi's ears between the bobbling, splashing, swimming attempts across one side of the small deep swimming hole. Awkwardly, Ta'hi craned her neck from side to side to look for the speaker of the jumbled words. Unfortunately, it was extremely difficult to swim and crane at the same time. Ta'hi kept sinking and then having to paddle like a canine to stay afloat only to sink again after forgetting to try and look and swim at the same time.
Frustrated with the lack of being able to do both at the same time, Ta'hi took a calculated risk. She was her mother's daughter afterall, and Clerm's Clermness rubbed off on her daughter. A lot. Sucking in a deep breath as she splashed around, Ta'hi propelled herself in a twirl in the water. It wasn't perfect, but it gave her the opportunity at a panarama view of the swimming hole's shores, even as she slowly sank lower into the water. Just as her eyes hit water level, Ta'hi saw the pacing dark lion cub on the shore.
She stayed under the water for two seconds before splashing and propelling herself to the shore. This was probably going to be tricky. And that was if it went well.
