Personality: Dènye is an old, wise lion. Given his inability to see, an acquired trait, Dènye had used the experience to learn from his arrogance. When he was younger, he was certainly arrogant of his talent. Of his looks, of his heritage... Being blinded by Mawu's Will crippled him for a long time. He was angry, violent to a degree. With time, as he grew used to the world of sounds and feeling instead of sight, his anger has melted away. He's found a sort of calm in the darkness, a place for him to go to and relax. It has taken a great deal of time for Dènye to amass the knowledge that he's come to be known for. Every bump and every jerk along the way, he's come to learn from it. He sees life as an endless lesson of Mawu's design, and strives to achieve as close to Perfection as he can before he is taken by the Loa. On the outside, it seems there is very little that can make Dènye angry enough to snap. He takes everything with a calm, dignified air. It can be infuriating if you try to get a rise out of him, but he's since learned that living in anger isn't living at all.

Personality: Schizophrenic. Bambara, since a very young age, has always had strange voices in her head telling her to do things, or not to trust something/someone. They will make her believe something to the point of it becoming reality. For example, if she truly believes her skin is burning as if it were on fire, her skin will actually begin to burn. However, her schizophrenia can be controlled....to an extent. Apart from the voices in her head, Bambara is a quite individual, on the account of the fact that she is mute, and will hardly do anything in public. She is tempted easily by the dark voodoo and probably appears fairly creepy to people, preferring her own company or those of the spirits that the Bokor and Caplata associate with. She's not above a little trickery, but it is normally for her own amusement rather than a desire to hurt another.
She has yet to figure out how the others have sold their souls to the Petro Loa for more power, but when she does...

Personality: Forceful in both spirit and bodily language, Eulalie is a lioness none should take lightly. Her dedication is matched by her extensive knowledge and command of darker Loa. Some say her parents offered themselves to the Petro Loa to bless Eulalie, but most know Eulalie has also led a strict and solitary life since birth in order to attain her achievements. While she is mostly solitary, she would not object to being in the spotlight for recognition of her great skills; she only requests time alone because she feels above the company of others.
Eulalie also very much has a silver tongue, though she enjoys harassing others with direct, cruel, honest truths instead. She always seems to know the right thing to say to enforce emotions from others whenever she wants. When speaking with Eulalie, one should know that she will always have the upper paw. While it is not by feminine charms she uses to get her point across, it is more likely that one would succumb through intimidation, or just feeling inept next to the dark lioness. Though her life is riddled with darkness, questions, and morbidity, Eulalie goes through it with as much grace and poise as possible.

Personality: True to his name, Eran is ever watchful, with a tendency to keep an eye on everything around him. He can come off as rather brusque with most, often answering with short, blunt responses. He can be cold to strangers to the point of seeming somewhat intimidating, but often becomes a different lion entirely once the initial walls are broken down. Personality: Firyali is a very hardworking individual. Originally not born into the pride, having been found by the older Medsen Fey, she takes her apprenticeship very seriously and does well to take in all of the teachings the older lion provides her. She wants to remember as much as she can, so as to be a good, helpful member of the pride. Her job is such a high importance because she wants to prove herself, so to speak. During her work, Firyali takes careful precautions not to be bothered while she is learning. It is doing things in this way that keep her from screwing potions or remedies up. She’s a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to that, and anyone bothering her studies is a bit of a hindrance in her eyes. Her work is important! Any other time, if they want to talk, Firyali is fine to let them see her, but not during her work! Anytime but that!
When not doing her work or learning from the older Medsen Fey, Firyali tries her best to be a very approachable lioness. Despite all the quirky stares she gets, despite all the whispers behind her back, she just lets them shrug off her shoulder in an attempt to help out the members of the pride. If a gatherer needs help carrying something, she is happy to assist. A guard needs someone to watch over their post while they get a drink from the watering hole? She is there as well. The young Medsen Fey will even go so far as to share her own food with another pride member if she sees they do not have as much. This hospitality she tries to present, while it may seem like a good thing, can come off as a bit odd to the other members of the pride. Some get the impression that she is trying to hard to get accepted, and perhaps maybe she is, but it is the only thing that comes to Firyali’s mind to do. Acting cold or standoffish in any other way, she feels, would ostracize her all the more, and that is the last thing she wants.
One thing is for sure: the background of the lioness seems to be a bit sketchy. While genuinely eager to share about her family and background, where she came from, things of that sort, depending on who you ask you may get a slightly different version. Why this is, exactly, is anyone’s guess, but it is clear that is something is off with her. In truth, Firyali doesn’t intentionally try to get her stories mixed up – it just sort of happens. She has a bad habit of forgetting who she told what story, which can be a bit troublesome, as she’s trying to keep her real upbringing and history a secret from everyone else. The less they know, the better.

Personality: Fon Youn lives for pleasure and love, and no matter how many times he is scolded, threatened, bribed, or otherwise induced to be productive and useful, he will quickly lose interest in those tasks which are not fun and exciting. He enjoys the reverence he is sometimes afforded and will happily take advantage of it to get out of trouble and to impress ladies. Fon Youn is a party boy, and could very easily be the sort to sneak into a medsen fey's stores for some fun substances to share around to make his gatherings of friends really pop. If he gets caught or in trouble, he will squirm and cajole and generally do anything he can to get out of being punished. As for the Loa, he truly believes in them, but he has never been possessed by one, to his knowledge. As he got older, Hukon managed to tune it out for the most part, but in times of stress, he can be found curled up with his paws over his head, trying to ride out another Drum Ordeal. Beyond that, he's a bit of a coward. He's genuinely afraid of girls, fearing what they might do to him for stepping out of line. The only girl who he isn't terrified of is his mother, Zitomoya. He's easily manipulated, dim, cowardly... There aren't many good traits to Hukonjoole'tari. He got the short end of the stick, poor guy.

Personality: Very little is known about Laz. As a cub, he was always very quiet and shy. His role model in life was his older brother, Takis. It was little wonder that when Takis died, Laz become more withdrawn and less welcoming. It's assumed that the young lion is a mute, since none have ever heard him speak and Takis tactfully evaded the topic. He broodingly accepts his duty among the pride and serves the old Caplata well enough. After his duties are complete, Lazarus seems to vanish. Few know where he goes, even fewer care to find out.

Personality: Zakura usually acts as the older brother figure to most SoA, lending an ear to their problems, and just generally being the sheltering cave amidst a storm. He's pretty smart and usually knows the best route to take in most situations. When something doesn't go his way, he becomes extremely down and frustrated, but hides his feelings with a facade of normality. He can hold a grudge forever, often dreaming of dark things that he wishes upon those who have made him sulk. Along with these happy, mostly normal traits, Zakura has a deep, dark secret that he tries desperately to hide...
He has a bit of an insane obsession with his spots. When he first saw his reflection in the water, Zakura thought that his spots were fish scales. He came to believe he was part fish. When he sees the spots on his arm, he tries to scratch them off (while no one's looking), thinking they're fish scales. He goes through phases. When he notices the spots after a while, he'll politely end any conversation he was involved in, walk off, hide somewhere, and fret about his "scales", really self-conscious about them. But this always passes and he becomes extremely embarrassed that he is standing there thinking he's part fish. He prefers to stay pretty close to water most of the time, as he sometimes, with dread, thinks he "belongs" there. But at the same time, in some situations, he has a profound fear of water.
He thinks he's doomed to one day become the mate of a fish, hating the idea simply because fish are so ugly and female felines are so pretty. But dreams of beautiful fish-feline-mermaid princesses ease his dismayed, secretive thoughts.

Personality: L’envoi is a chilling lion with a cool personality; cool not in the ‘cold’ sense, but in that ‘awesome’ feel. He gets along with just about everyone and any specie. For him, it is all about friends rather than enemies. L’envoi is always ready for a good time.
He enjoys his work of gathering food and animals for the pride. An apt learner makes him the ideal student. L’envoi has, he found out, a knack for herding live animals to the pride. His hunting skills aren’t that bad either. Learning the plants has taken him slightly longer. He likes to be sent out for items; meat, live animals, or plants he does his job cheerfully and willingly.

Personality: As a young cub she was boisterous and unruly, though a loving and caring daughter. Adolescence saw her as a rogue, a female determined to prove herself against any and all males in the pride, a risk taker and a dare devil. After her accident she became almost silent, meek and painfully withdrawn. Everything frightened her and she held great fear of being touched. Now however, she is slowly recovering some of her natural good humour and playfulness, though will ever remain a calmer, more composed and experienced lioness.

Personality: Upholi tends to be easily cowed by the more important pride members - which she regards as anyone not a Gatherer and older Gatherers. She's a little ashamed that she isn't as spiritually strong as some of the others, and she doesn't understand why she doesn't hear the Loa like some of the others do. She's got a bit of an inferiority complex, because she believes in the Loa with all her might- but they never make themselves known to her. She's convinced it's because she is a cheetah and not really good enough.

Personality: Very demented. Who ever raised the little boy until this point didn't do a good job. He doesn't know anything about the real world and only knows how to talk pretty much. He was found in the bottom of a hole with the corpse of his supposed mother, chewed to bits. The poor fellow was starving.

Personality: Tobi is one of those guys who works seriously at what he does and almost gets absorbed in it. When he's focused on a task he's kind of rude to other lions and the like without knowing he is. He doesn't recall conversations. When he gets told he was mean or rude, he just shrugs it of because he doesn't believe it's true. He does believe in higher magics out there and he's seen them work in their ways and wants to study them more. However, he doesn't think he'd be any good in trying to work with the magics. He does see little glimpses of the future and sometimes, very rarely in the past. (( Seer! ))
