Kaipo had a lot to think about after her talk with Maji. The prides beliefs did not line up with those of her own beliefs which had left Kaipo a little sour to put things lightly. The fact that the beliefs were so similar aided in her decision to keep a level and calm head as possible and grin.

She had time to level her head at the very least. This is why she avoided spending time one on one with Maji now. She kept her mouth shut when ever he was around and kept her head to her duty of mixing inks and reading old records. Her avoidance of Maji meant that she was very much unaware of what had recently happened. So her bitter feelings were , at least at the moment, guilt free.

Today she was taking a walk around the pride to gather materials for the next batch of ink needed to print on the wall. She was very much on the gathering supplies team when ever she could be if only to get away from the other magi for a moment.

Hunting was a simple task and in many prides usually very much needed. Gur was happy to lend her hunting skills to the mistwalkers in turn for a safe refuge. The lioness had adopted their beliefs as her own. Gur was very much still learning the ways of the pride. She was not an original kin to either of the now joined together prides. This never mattered to her. The pride had accepted her with open paws which made her job that much easier to do. There was something important about the appreciation one got from their job. Gur loved hers.

There really only had been one member who'd left her with a very sour taste in her maw. That member, a magi of all things, looked down her nose at her. Gur still had a few choice words for THAT lioness.

And she was about to get her chance. Something in the mists alerted her. Lion shaped and looked to be to scrawny to be a viking. The blue lioness just watched for a moment and took a seat.

Something blue in the distance caught her eye. Lion shaped by the looks of it. Kaipo squinted. She was unsure if it would be wise to risk heading over toward the shape. The shape took a seat which was odd. It almost looked like the shape might be watching her. Kaipo felt a little uneasy by this. She mirrored and also took a seat and stared back at the blue lion shape.

A large frown on her maw sat in place.

The lion shape had taken a seat about the same time that Gur had. Now that was curious. It gave Gur the insight that she needed to know that who ever this lion shape belonged too had already noticed her in the mists. There was no turning tail and fleeing now. The only option was to either stare this shape down or go up to it and confront who ever this was. The shape didn't seem so threatening any ways.

Gur got up, stretched, and casually started to paw up towards the lioness in question. Features and markings became clearer with every paw step until Gur could see exactly who it was that she'd been staring at. Standing in front of her was the insulting magi who had called her lazy among other things. Gurs eyes were wide. Her frown cut deep in her maw. She was unable to think of a single thing to say.

Kaipo actually kept her composure well when Gur stepped in to seeing distance. She might have even gained a smug grin that was now slapped across her maw. Her posture probably got a little better as well. She looked as if she was with holding something important or even up to no good. That grin. The way she stared. It just screamed she was some one used to a great deal of respect.

Her tail slowly coiled around her paw.

"Slacking off again are you?" She sounded almost far too interested.

Gur frowned deeper and added a bit of a scowl. She wanted to tackle this condescending lioness. She wanted to claw her entire body until there was nothing left that even the buzzards might find appealing. Rage surged with in her pulse. Gur stayed still and silent.

Gur didn't need to say a thing. Kaipo could see how angry she was and which only made the lioness want to tease all that more. It was too easy. Way too easy. Like taking meat from a cub, something which Kaipo would never do but had thought about at least a few times in her life span. Kaipo silently waited for a retort even though she knew Gur was not about to say anything. She relished every moment.

"Oooh you don't have to be afraid to admit you've been caught. I'll happily report to your superior when I'm done gathering supplies," Kaipo wasn't serious. She just felt like being a b***h right now. "Don't worry I'm sure the punishment won't be THAT bad."

Gur could feel the anger rising. Every thought was now focused on how much it would not be worth to have this lionesses blood on her paws. Gur was almost twice the size of Kaipo. She was a massively muscular lioness and Kaipo was a dainty small lioness. In a fight Gur was confident she'd be able to neutralize Kaipo in a matter of seconds.

But she wasn't worth it.

Anger surged deep with in her. She could not hide the fact she was clenching her teeth nor the fact she was growling.

"Oh growls and grunts. Is conversation a little to difficult for your small brain?" Yeah Kaipo was enjoying this. She was enjoying letting out her frustration she'd held in for so long. Inflicting petty insults to some one she had deemed lesser than her self. She was enjoying this a little to much.

"Don't worry. Your thick skull serves you well if you slip on the rocks at least. That one tiny brain cell of yours is safely tucked away. Its like a safety device," Kaipo was beaming.

That was it. Gur snapped and launched her self at Kaipo. Kaipo had no time to react and found her self pinned on her back by a very big lioness who had her face inches away from her own. Gurs teeth were bared and she was snarling.

"As much as I'd like to end your life. I will not put your blood in these mists. You do not deserve such an easy death nor do you deserve to die in these home lands. Make sure you STAY AWAY from me or next time I can't promise I'll be as kind," Everything was seethed through the bared teeth. Gur released the smaller lioness and turned her back on Kaipo wordlessly. She was done talking.

There had been no time to react. She was down which surprised Kaipo. She'd been pinned and threatened. Even after Gur had left, Kaipo remained flat on her back a little unsure what had just happened. She remained that way until she was sure that Gur was faded back to the mists. Kaipo than slowly rolled to her side, got up, and wordlessly went back to gathering.
