So I've been thinking.

I'm going to be looking for work soon, and that's all well and good until next year's spring semester in college. However for my free time I thought I could become more well rounded in terms of entertainment preferences. This is going to be a list of all the shows, movies, books, and games I want to try and squeeze in by next year. If you have any suggestions to add onto this list, feel free to give them.

Shows:
------------
Firefly
Clone High
Breaking Bad
Gravity Falls
Cowboy Bebop dub

Movies:
------------
Castaway
Serenity
Saving Private Ryan
Dances With Wolves
Rocky

Books:
------------
Life of Pi
Artemis Fowl: The Last Guardian
Holidays on Ice
Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim
Akira

Games:
------------
Metal Gear Solid
Some Megaman games (preferably X/ZX/Zero)
Finish my current nuzlockes (emerald, platinum, XD)
Pokemon White 2
Shadow of the Colossus
Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles
Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2

Glad to see you have Firefly & Serenity on the list. They're definitely ones that should be seen. smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

And here are just a few suggestions that I can think of right now...

Shows
Doctor Who
Torchwood
BBC Sherlock
Once Upon A Time
Grimm

Movies
Albert Nobbs
Perfect Sense

Books
The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
Guardian Cats and the Lost Books of Alexandria by Rahma Krambo

I've been a bit intimidated by the doctor, I'll be honest smilies/icon_rofl.gif (so many episodes).

What's Torchwood about?

What's Torchwood about?

Well, you can always start with one season... or one particular Doctor and work from there. smilies/icon_sweatdrop.gif

Torchwood is a spin-off series of Doctor Who, focusing on the adventures of Captain Jack Harkness (seen briefly in the Doctor Who series) and his team located in Cardiff, U.K. (and in the latest season in America). It has the same sort of feel as Doctor Who regarding aliens and the such, except there's barely any time traveling involved and some of its subjects are a bit more risque than what is seen in Doctor Who. I guess some could consider Torchwood as being the "adult" counterpart to Doctor Who.

Shows:
------------
Firefly (Never seen it. I had friend tell it's a complete knock off of Outlaw Star though emotion_smilies/icon_awesomeface.gif Must be good then.)
Clone High (I watched a few episodes online. It's..eh emotion_smilies/icon_eyebrow.png. See for yourself.)
Breaking Bad (My whole family is utterly addicted. Watch at your own risk smilies/icon_ninja.gif )
Burn Notice

Movies:
------------
Castaway (WWIIIIIILLLLSSOOOOOOOON!!!!!)
Serenity

Books:
------------
Life of Pi
Artemis Fowl: The Last Guardian (MOTHERF*CKING GET IT!!! It's a tad darker and more serious though.)
The Ranger's Apprentice Series

Games:
------------
Metal Gear Solid (Pay close attention and you'll enjoy it more. Don't be afraid to be chatty with your codec either. Meryl's codec is 140.95. Play in order. Series order, not chronologiacal order. Metal Gear 1, 2, Portable Ops, and Peacewalker are optional but but they help fill in a few blanks.)
Some Megaman games (preferably X/ZX/Zero)
Finish my current nuzlockes (emerald, platinum, XD)
Pokemon White 2
Shadow of the Colossus ((Beautiful yet awkward...PLAY IT!)
Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles
Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2

In bold print are my comments, corrections, and recommendations. Have fun. Sorry if it's annoying. smilies/icon_sweatdrop.gif

Edit bump and note: This next week, aside from looking for work I'll be trying to finish reading Akira (Already halfway through volume 4 of 6), playing my emerald nuzlocke, and I'll also be trying to watch Rocky and all of the current Gravity Falls episodes (for that one I'll need a site that has them).
